Chandler provided a nice background for our meal.

Really cute place-stopped when I saw they had live entertainment. Perfect background-nice but not too loud. Cute date spot with good menu that has a nicely curated selection of items. The baked Brie appetizer was a huge value for $10 and plenty for the table to share.

So happy more sit down restaurants are opening on canal for us locals! The service is excellent, food was great and very affordable. We had the Barrata cheese plate, lox baggette, tomato basil soup and a hot Italian beef sub.

A half drank Old Fashioned whiskey drink. Delicious!!!!

It's a quaint little place, but the food was average. Service and drinks was great though.

Chef Jon Kastner (yes, the same culinary genius formerly at Anchor Bar & Grill and Southern Chili Lab) is working magic in the kitchen here. Every dish was creative, flavorful, and beautifully executed. We started with the boiled peanut hummus--a bold, Southern twist that somehow tasted like comfort and innovation all at once. The pickled collards (and other veggies) on top perfectly complemented the smooth hummus. The wings were crisp, juicy, so flavorful, and the Alabama white BBQ sauce was downright addictive. I seriously could eat that sauce on everything. We couldn't resist trying a couple of other wing sauces, too, and every one was a win. The fried green tomato salad was another standout--fresh, tangy, and just the right balance of crispy and creamy. From start to finish, the food was elevated but not fussy--exactly the kind of place you want to linger with friends, savoring every bite. Whether you're here to play or just to eat, Tee Off is officially on our must-visit list.

First things first: parking. It's limited and easy to miss, so keep an eye out. The restaurant itself is cozy--only two tables inside plus a small bar. If you're coming with a group larger than four, the outdoor picnic tables are definitely your best bet. They offer $10 wine bottle specials, which we, of course, took full advantage of. The staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. They moved us inside as soon as a table opened up--and that's exactly when an emergency occurred. A guest tripped on the stairs while leaving, and the team had to call an ambulance. Despite the situation, the staff stayed calm, efficient, and compassionate. They managed the emergency, continued serving guests, and our food still arrived promptly. The dishes were flavorful and authentic, portions were generous, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

I do suggest you make a reservation, because depending on the time and day, it can get packed. Perch is upstairs with indoor and outdoor seating. It also has a bar inside with TVs. We actually sat outside, but I did notice they only had one bartender and while she was very busy, she worked her tail off to get those drinks out. For my appetizer, I ordered the lobster bisque. Although it was creamy and pretty good, it did not have enough lobster in it, especially based on the price. For dinner, I ordered the seared gulf fish, which came with corn and crab chowder and some potatoes. I also added a side of grilled shrimp. This dish was really good! It was served hot and the fish and shrimp were fresh and well seasoned. Unfortunately I can't remember our waiter, but he was super nice and patient and gave us some great suggestions. I would definitely come back and visit Perch again.

We had to call over the waitress for a second drink while waiting for food. The (rock) lobster was unseasoned, poorly cooked and cold. When the entree finally arrived after an hour+ wait it was cold. I counted in excess of 20 bustling employees on the floor, we were told the kitchen was backed up, but the food, though delicious, was almost ice cold ?? We arrived for reservations at 6:30 and walked out immediately after eating at 9pm. The quality of our dinner came nowhere near our dining experiences elsewhere at less than half the cost. We were so disappointed that potentially tasty food was ruined by poor delivery.
