I've always liked Jersey Mike's in 3 of the states I've lived in over the last 30+ years and unfortunately didn't have one locally after retiring here in 2019. But alas this new location just recently opened and right on time. I planned, well in advance, on making our maiden sojourn to Jersey Mike's with my sweetheart today where 100% of their receipts going to our local Salvation Army. There's different local charities in different areas like make-a-wish & other great causes. As for the food, it's pretty good and I really enjoy their Philly. In addition to Mike's famous philly they have several cheesesteak you can get a chicken version as well as a grilled portobello with swiss. They have the usual suspects for cold subs and they do have kids meals. There's a nice selection of chips, my favorite are the Ms Vickie's sea salt. zthere's also drinks and cookies for dessert. I like the option to put just what I want to dress my sandwich and having the red pepper sauce is a big plus. The only turn off here was a lot of dirty tables, I know getting lots of good help is an issue right now but sitting at a dirty table is never good. Bottom line: table aside the cheesesteak was very good, chips & drink hit the spot and the friendly folks here on the line are great! read more

WOW !!! What a fiasco. What should have been a simple transaction turned into an ugly event. I had a coupon for buy 1 get 1 free coke and chips. First the "manager" was so incompetent he couldn't find the code in the coupon then rang up both sandwich no discount, then he disposed of coupon and couldn't find the coupon n the trash, so I put chips and drinks back (they rang up to nearly $12.). This is not how you do business. I see why on Sunday and 80° evening 10 min from the beach and no one in your eatery. Horrible customer service. I ordered a chipotle chicken sub and it tasted like nothing. It was just like a conglomeration of chicken , cheese, sauce and no taste. I ate a couple of bites and threw it in the trash. I usually love jersey mikes. But today was not good at all. I spent 40 minutes waiting on my Philly sandwich. The two girls working there today had ZERO hustle going on. Moved like snails. I have done nothing but restaurant business so I can understand being short staffed. But to not even try to go faster? No. They didn't care that I was there for so long. They made my sandwich (first hot sandwich to make next) and made all the other sandwiches behind me as if they were all going to the same people. They let my sandwich sit there and get cold for a good 10/15 minutes and then wrapped it up and passed out when all the other sandwiches were finished. She also burnt my Philly cause it was on the flat top too long. Not happy read more

I love love love their sandwiches. Grant you, they are still new and working out the kinks so their kinda slow right now but man, they have good sandwiches. Was so happy when they opened. I'm really hoping the public gives them a chance, let them find their rhythm. They'll get there with their speed. If you love tuna like I do, I highly recommend you get one of their tuna sandwiches have them make it the "Mikes way" and then you can thank me later. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of my sandwich but I will the next time I go in there and get one, I'll post it, they're not stingy with their tuna and I am swearing to you it is so freaking good. I have to preface this with I really like Jersey Mike's and was extremely excited to see them here and so was my wife because then she can eat somewhere else when we're in Daphne or Pensacola. Also, I hope to be able to update this when or if the crew are trained. I've already tried 5 time and their 0 for 5 on service. I normally get the cheesesteak extra meat and cheese. I've been overcharged on 3 of the five visits. I've stopped paying extra for the meat and cheese because I'm not getting it. My last two visits I've seen more people leave without food than wait the 45 minute to place an order. Using the app doesn't help at this location it takes you arriving and asking for them to look at it. It would be quicker and cheaper for me to drive to Daphne and get a sub. Like I said I will update this if it ever gets better. A piece of advice a soft opening without coupons would have been more beneficial to your crew and paying customers. I decided to try Jersey Mikes for the first time. All of the online sandwich surveys put Jersey mikes at the top of the franchises. I now understand why; the ingredients where fresh, the place was clean, the staff friendly. The sandwich was like a rediscovery of an old friend, it was delicious, and I'm a sandwich guy from way back, not so easily impressed. the online ordering is convenient; if anything They need to hook up with a delivery service, they do have a bring it out to your car service. Went in Yesterday for the first time and I was really pleased with the service I got. Good service in Foley this time of year is hard to find. I got the Tuna fish and it was perfect! The bread was soft and delicious . The Staff was very helpful and Friendly. The store it self was very clean and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Not sure who the manager of the store is but you could tell he or she is doing a wonderful job in keeping the store in top notch shape and training the employees. I'm a HUGE fan of Jersey Mike's... I was so excited when I learned that we were getting one in Foley, AL... That being said, this is the dirtiest, most unorganized location I've ever been to in three states.... 1st visit was very slow, which I gave benefit of doubt due to new staff, new opening, etc... 2nd visit I used my app and ordered ahead, when we arrived we were told that it was already picked up, which means that my cc number and info on the receipt was handed to someone else, along with my food. They filled the order and didn't recharge, however the food was not very fresh tasting. 3rd visit there were two people "working" a young man who was clearly overwhelmed and a woman who had friends there, she was helping behind the counter initially but then scurried outside to smoke with her friends, again the food was not up to Jersey Mike's standards that I have come to really enjoy. I have ordered online with the app, and been to this location multiple times. I have been while they are slammed busy, and understaffed, and I have been there when I am the only customer. Every time I have an incredible experience. Renee is always very sweet, professional, and caring. I love walking in and seeing her and the guy with dark brown hair ( can't remember his name, even though he has told me.) they are always very attentive and very pleasant to deal with. I look forward to my lunch times there, even when I have to grab and go back to work. I have never had any issue with my food either. It's always hot (when needed) and made just the way I asked! Even when I am not sure what to order, they always seem to recommend exactly what I am wanting that day. Y'all have a great team here and it is so nice to enjoy going to get some great again, instead of dreading going out to eat in these crazy times. Keep up the great work Renee!
