We arrived a few minutes after 11 am and the lunch crowd was starting to arrive. We were seated immediately and our server took our drink order and returned to take our order. We chose to have the vegetable of the day for our side with our burgers and the was the best decision! They were delicious!!! Very well seasoned not greasy, too salty or overcooked, very healthy like. They tasted like heaven! Their burgers are always on spot but today they seemed to be a little salt heavy in the patty. This is a weekly stop for us. Great little diner with the best salad around. Fried catfish is tops and frankly most things on the menu are great. The brownies under the glass cake top at the counter are over the top! All the waitreses are friendly and attentive. They get really busy at times but its worth it if you have ato wait a bit. read more

I ordered the 1/2 lb hamburger. . The bun was too small. An inch of the meat hung over the side. It was so weird, I've never seen anything like it. I ate the meat all around the edge until I could get to the bun. Why serve it that way??? Where is the quality control??? Wish I had taken a photo. It was so strange!! it was so disappointing. First meal we have eaten out for less than $60. Their burgers as everyone else states are the best thing on the menu. Large patty's with any topping you can think of and they even toast their buns. Best side are the onion rings. They are not homemade but still hot and crispy. Shrimp taco's were also very flavorful. They were more like shrimp burrito's for how large they were. We ordered one appetizer, a cup of gumbo, and a soda and the total was $32! Not even an entree and after tip spent $40. The app was Buffalo shrimp and we each ate one - that's all it took to realize they were awful. Very strong shrimp taste, we were afraid they might be bad so we didn't eat any more. The gumbo was just one cup, not a bowl, and it was crazy salty. Oh my gosh, I had the best hamburger and french fries! Everything was so fresh tasting and the hamburger was so juicy! We got seated right away and our server was wonderful. Checked on us several times to make sure everything was OK and she had a great sense of humor as well to put up with the three of us. I highly recommend going there and I will be back. i came in for a togo order and wasn't acknowledged at all, not even a hello we'll be with you in just a moment just flat out seen and ignored. i work in the service industry so i understand sometimes you get flooded and can't tend to a customer asap but a simple greeting can really go a long way. burger was okay, service needs some work. read more

Booth vinyl was mended with electrical tape. NOT SO MUCH: Chicken fried steak had been frozen, gravy was flavorless like glue, potato salad was funky tasting, fried okra tasted like it had been frozen. The place was packed for Friday lunch. My wife loves their burger and it was great as always. I have the HUGE hamburger patty with mushroom and onion gravy. Everyone else had fries, while I had onion rings. It was all really, really good. Also had an appetizer of fried pickles which were just right as well. Please remember all of your local establishments right now (I would even include fast food in that.) Delicious, pricey but worth it!. From what I read they started out as a food truck and maybe their prices have increased since then. However, the small town and good vibes have continued. I love a place that cares about their customer and provides a good meal! The service was great, very polite and attentive. They have comfortable indoor and outdoor seating and offer great menu options. Our bill for a family of four was around $60, without a tip. We could have skipped the drinks and that would have made about a $10 difference. But I couldn't pass up their sweet tea. Yum!!! We tried their fried pickles as well, which were a recommendation and they were amazing! The burgers were fantastic as well and overall the experience was very positive!
