Reasonable prices. Superb service. First class outstanding food. Specially the crab cakes. So full, I had to skip the crème brûlée which was tough because it was in a large flat bowl lots of country crunchy

On a satruday night very busy as usual. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Our waitress Lee was excellent throughout our visit. We started with bbq shrimp, amazing flavors in the sauce. Then salads, nice and cold with tasty dressings. I had the wedge again and the combo of bleu cheese and vinagarette is very good. Next she had the tripletale fish special and they enjoyed it, it was a large piece of fish as well. I had the red snapper with an amazing medley of vegtables that was more than I could eat and had great textures and flavors. This was a great meal and experience. We will be back.

Anniversary dinner was all of that and a bag of .... Well, not chips. But crab claws. Yes. Food was so good and the service with Jamie was outstanding. Everything we put in our mouth was seasoned well. Good and hot. From the sautéed crab claws appetizer to the gumbo soup and crab cakes. Even the bread pudding was fabulous. We have not returned for some years. So glad we are back. TIL next time

We ate here twice last weekend. Friday night was very busy but the staff kept up pretty well. ( line at the door busy).I had a Martini that was perfect and my wife tried a couple of specialty drinks she liked. There is a great happy hour from 3-5:30( memory here). Bottle beer was $3.00 and apps were ony $6.00. I had the Tuna and she had the Salmon for dinner . Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. My only criticism was the Risotto.....slightly overcooked but still tasty. The next night we came in after a wedding and sat at the bar. Quick and friendly bar staff. I had fried shrimp and she had a grilled shrimp salad. I am from the Mississippi Gulf coast and very picky about my shrimp cook and these were great. Not over cook like I see at many places and the seasoning was on point,,,,,both fried and grilled. We will definitely go again when we are in the area.

My wife and I had brunch on Saturday morning. We got there just before they opened and stood outside with 2 other groups of people waiting to get in. By the time we left, the place was packed. Prince was our waiter and he did an excellent job. I had the Chicken & Waffles with a side of Bacon and Gouda Grits and the Bloody Mary Bar. My wife had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and a Mimosa. The food and drinks were delicious. We sat in the bar area and I noticed they had a nice selection of bourbons.

    Sea bass

First time to visit. Had a great experience. We had an appetizer (avocado fries) and sea bass & 8oz filet for our dinner. The food had a very good flavor and served at the appropriate temperature. The restaurant was busy so service was slow to begin with, but Sarah, our server, was very attentive. It is a casual setting with a few televisions view while dining. We would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area.

Came in for brunch on mardi gras parade day. Cameron was there and all dressed up. Butler was behind the bar as well. Food was delicious and I had a mystic mule made with crown blackberry it was delicious! Side salad was drenched in dressing next time I'll ask for it on the side. Shrimp and grits were amazing and omelet had peppers onion mushrooms and delicious large shrimp. They had a Bloody Mary bar set up. Staff is always friendly and the place is top notch clean.

Raw oysters, and oysters, Rockefeller. Absolutely delicious.

I had out-of-town visitors that wanted to try a variety of seafood. Tamara's has a great variety of food and even happy hour drinks. We all had something a little different, but we were all very pleased with our entrées. We started off with raw oysters and oysters Rockefeller that were amazing. I had the seafood platter that was cooked to perfection and so much food that I had to take half of it home. The special was a triple tail fish that not only tasted delicious but looked as good as it tasted. Two of the entrées came with the Gouda mashed potatoes and you couldn't beat the flavor. It was definitely busy but our server was very attentive and made our night one to remember.

Tamara's was a very nice surprise for our girls party of 6. Accommodated us quickly, and the service was wonderful. She Crab Soup was on the menu and I encouraged the ladies to try it. They are family from the west coast. They loved it! We enjoyed a bottle of champagne with three juices to make mimosas. The fried green tomatoes with crab were fabulous! Highly recommend Tamara's!

    Prime rib brunch.

Had the prime rib brunch, it was good, eggs cooked perfectly. Wife had the French dip, she said it was good. Sarah the waitress was very polite and attentive. The restaurant was very nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

We're from out of town and are so glad we chose Tamara's! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. If I had to pick one thing that wasn't my favorite, it would be the French onion soup--it just didn't quite hit the mark for me. On the bright side, the mimosa was perfectly strong, the rest of the food was incredible, and the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. The atmosphere is a little more upscale but not at all pretentious, which we really appreciated. It's a great spot for a nice meal without feeling overly formal. We loved our visit and would definitely recommend Tamara's!

We went for Sunday morning brunch with a party of 10 and had the best time!! They seated us promptly and our server was so attentive. Everything was brought out quickly and correctly. We had a variety of food between eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles and more. I loved the kids menu as well! Prices were on point with how much food everyone got. Nobody could finish their plate! Highly recommend and will return.

Now, I can handle just about anything from Waffle House to Another Broken Egg, but listen, quit scrolling, and head over to Julwin's Restaurant. From the coffee to the biscuit and everything in between, you can tell that those folks in the back know how to cook breakfast. My wife ordered the Western omelet, and opted for the Spinach. I know we didn't take three sips of coffee before our food came out piping hot and fresh off the griddle! The eggs were perfect as were the hash browns. I like my biscuit as dessert, and I'm happy to say I was not disappointed. Guys, we'll be back. There's no question Julian is on our must see list on our next trip to Fairhope.

We ordered the steak special- which is what we usually get. Our steaks were extremely overcooked- like tough to eat. We send them back and the new steaks were almost raw. They gave us some fries that were basically just the end pieces. At that point we just kept the steaks and tried to eat them. The table next to us also had to send their food back because it wasn't cooked correctly. Not sure if they have a new kitchen staff or what is going on- but we have never had any issues with this place. It may be why so few people were there. Hopefully the food quality will improve because this was one of our usual places for a good steak.

It honestly feels a little like you stumbled into a hidden spot on vacation. The food was solid across the board. You can tell they actually care about what they're serving, everything tasted fresh, not heavy or overdone. The menu has a great mix, from burgers to pasta and seafood, so it's easy to find something no matter what you're in the mood for. The shrimp and grits and the pasta dishes are delicious , and even the appetizers were on point. Service was just as good, friendly, attentive, but not hovering. You don't feel rushed, which is rare these days. What really makes this place though is the vibe. Whether you sit inside or out, it's got that relaxed, slightly upscale but still comfortable feel. If you're in Fairhope and want somewhere that feels local (not touristy), this is it. Easy 5 stars. Will definitely go back!!

We were a table of 8 adults and 2 young children, which we shared when making our reservation. When we arrived, there were no high chairs, which is okay, but of course can a bit difficult with two children under two. Although it was raining, we took the two little ones outside (where no one was dining) to walk around and burn some energy while waiting on our meal to be served. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and so kind, but another woman kept glaring at our two children, rolling her eyes at them, and intentionally almost running into them when we stood up to walk outside or when they would walk close to our table to be held by another adult in our party... almost as if to prove a point. Turns out, this very unkind lady was the owner. After coming back inside to return to our table, she approached one of the mothers and spoke very rudely telling her that the children needed to stay in their chairs. Two children under two in adult chairs... the children were not being loud or disruptive, simply children who don't have the ability to sit still -- we had been there for 45 minutes at this point. A heads up that it isn't a kid-friendly environment or the lack of high chairs would've been wonderful. We would've happily chosen to spend the lots and lots of money we spent there, elsewhere. The two mothers and children left the establishment in tears due to how they were treated, not even having a bite of food ordered. We were absolutely appalled to find out that it was the owner, Daneen Buck, behaving that way -- everyone else working there was extremely kind and the other guests were so friendly with both babies. If you have children or love any child in your life, I highly advise you to spend your money elsewhere. I hate that we gave her any business at all.
