Labor day, place is busy
Kevin G.

Another great meal, we arrived before sunset and sat at a table with a view out the window. We ordered the grilled shrimp with broccolli / cauliflower and roasted potatoes, she had the lemon butter chicken with broccoli / cauliflower and roasted potatoes. Both our meals were tasty. Our server did a good job during our visit. For a Monday night, it was pretty busy.

Food was outstanding! Happy hour specials, including domestic beer bottles for $2! Service was spot on! We dined outside on the patio and they welcomed our Golden Retriever. Such a nice and peaceful dining experience!

We arrived around 3 pm and they were still quite busy. We were able to sit outside on a the waterfront with the majority of the guests. We were immediately greeted by our server Thomas and he did not disappoint. My friend had the grouper burger and he said it was blackened and seasoned real well and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. He and I both found the Cole slaw okay. It was a marinade with peppers and onions. I would eat it again but if something else was offered I think I would choose it. The sweet potato chips were cold when they arrived on my plate but we both agree that we think that served hot they would be good. My fish were served hot and fried to perfection! I will definitely order them again!! We had the chocolate strawberry cake for dessert and it was okay not one I would order again. The four stars is because the chips were cold. We will return to try other items on the menu.

Apple of My Eye

Lunch on Saturday - ate on the deck. View of marina is great and service from James was top notch. Started with some of the seasonal cocktails. The Apple of my Eye was very good if you like bourbon. The Midnight Reserve is made with rum and was a bit too minty. For lunch I had the seafood lettuce wraps. The proteins were all cooked well but combined with the veggies and condiments, it missed the mark being mediocre at best. Hubby had the fish wrap (fried) and it was very good. Fries were okay but not great. Over all, this place tries to be an upscale "yacht club" vibe but need to work on some basics in taste.

sat at the bar for dinner and not only received a great meal and drinks but were treated to a first class bar demonstration. travis was mixing drinks and it was truly a show to watch. not only was he so knowledgeable but the drinks were amazing! dinner choices were the fried grouper sandwich and blackened snapper throats. both were fantastic but the snapper throats were fantastic. i had never seen those on a menu before. i'm gonna try those fried next time! this is a casual atmosphere with a great patio, just a little too chilly for me.

If you're in Fairhope you must visit this coastal eatery. Great sunset views of Mobile Bay with amazing seafood. Super friendly and fun service makes it more the better. You won't be disappointed making the drive out here. It's just one of those places you won't forget.

Amazing dinner with friends tonight at Sunset Pointe! Delicious food and great wait service by James. Our group shared tuna nachos before we ordered our entrees. Great night dining by the water!!

Stopped in for a couple drinks. Really enjoyed speaking with Tucker the bartender. He was extremely knowledgeable on drinks and cocktails. Good recommendations. AC works wonderfully! They have indoor and outdoor patio seating on the water.

Red snapper collars with vegetables and grilled coleslaw

Beautiful view, gracious staff and the best red snapper collars! With a beurre blanc sauce and a crusty coating, served with grilled coleslaw slaw and fresh vegetables. A crafty cocktail menu and wine list. Worth a stop!

Loved this cute little restaurant! We sat outside in 90 degree weather and the fan misters made it feel 70 degrees. Our food was great. Service was great. My boys wanted pina coladas. They concocted a drink for them that they loved. We walked around the marina for a bit. We enjoyed looking at all the beautiful boats. We hope to be back!

How delightful to sit outside, sip wine, eat good food at Sunset Pointe in Fairhope. The bar menu is EXTENSIVE! But this isn't just a place to drink while you watch the sun set. The food menu offers variety, and when I visit a restaurant, I always look to see if they have good choices for the Kiddos, and here they do. Inside is nice, but the patio gives you the opportunity to feel the breeze and see the marina and bay. And the service outside is the same as indoors. My favorite two items on the menu are snapper throats (when in season) and the ahi tuna; but, there are also salads, burgers, great sandwiches, and good starters and sides. This will be one of your go to places in Fairhope.

This a great restaurant for your seafood cravings. They do have few land base food but very limited. I map this out for the marina. It took me on the other side of the marina. I would definitely recommend mapping the restaurant. It located in heat of downtown Fairview. East of Mobile. Found out this was on triple D (food network) and Alabama rates this restaurant as one of the best in the state. This is a small but wonderful place with a beautiful view of the Gulf of America. You are welcome by a front hostess. Our hostess ask us would we like to dine in outside or inside. Definitely recommend outdoor dining when weather permits. Great views of the gulf! We opted for indoor dining. She quickly sat us down. Our server greeted us with a friendly hello and asked what we would start off with for appetizer and drinks. We quickly started our food journey with the kamikazi chicken ( fried chicken, soy lime jalapeno glaze, sesame seeds ) . I know it came with jalapeno glaze. Honestly, was not spicy at all. Actually the sauce is pretty good! Of course, washed down with a fresh brew glass of sweet tea. As for the actual meals. We got the Sunset point burger ( two chuck patties, bacon, pimento cheese, caramelized red onion, brioche) and opted for the fresh French fries. Leo's seafood lettuce wraps ( grilled shrimp, scallops, calamari, red onions, red and yellow peppers, citrus vinaigrette, lemon aioli). Round off the meal with the Gulf Coast Grilled Shrimp ( grilled, garlic butter house vegetable, house starch). The seating inside was very comfortable like sitting in outdoor wicker chairs. Love to hug you while you sit. I am not sure about the WiFi connection. I noticed a connection but it is WiFi protected? They do offer a military discount upon request. Great service and good food. Great stop if you are in the area and want some great food! Wonderful place for a drink inside at the bar or soak up the sun in the outdoor dining experience over looking the water. Drink responsibly...

Real photos of the food instead of ai slop. If your food looks so bad you won't use it for advertising, it probably tastes awful too.

Food, service and view good. Just a bit pricey for what we got and our veggies were lukewarm.

I love Top of the Bay! Seriously, who IS this horse-faced Avery chick? Girl must be the Yelp…read moreequivalent of a professional hater--she drops a 1-star review faster than a drunk uncle drops his beer at a wedding. Probably mad because the barstools don't come with a personal therapist to listen to her complaints. Meanwhile, the rest of us are living our best lives: the atmosphere is straight-up electric (in a good way, not like that one time the jukebox shorted out), the booze flows like it's happy hour in heaven--wine? Nah, we're talking bottomless vibes and top-shelf pours that make you forget what day it is. The staff? Absolute legends. They remember your drink before you remember your own name, and they do it with smiles bigger than the Mobile Bay itself. And the events? Non-stop party central: * Wednesdays: Line dancing so fun you'll forget you have two left feet (spoiler: everyone does after shot #3). * Fridays: Live bands that slap harder than your ex's bad decisions. * Saturdays & Sundays: Karaoke where your off-key rendition of "Sweet Caroline" somehow becomes the highlight of the night--bonus points if you dedicate it to Avery for the motivation. Plus, outdoor music perfect for pretending you're in a music video while actually just spilling your drink on your shoes. It's the ultimate spot to grab a cold one, mingle like you're auditioning for a rom-com, and meet new people who are actually fun (unlike certain reviewers). The regulars? Pure gold. They'll hook you up with every hidden gem, event, and questionable life choice happening in Baldwin County faster than you can say "another round." Bottom line: If you're looking for a good time in Daphne, Top of the Bay is where it's at. Avery can stay home reviewing her own fridge if she wants--more barstools for the rest of us party animals!

Listen. This is probably the best hometown bar I have ever been to…read more I am a 42 year old WOMAN who enjoys coming to this bar. I come with my husband, so I haven't ever had the experiences as OTHER women (please see the lot lizard that left the one star review on 3/13) of being put in my place and told no when attempting to seduce a SIGNIFICANTLY older man (ohmygod its like I was there...) I also don't tend to laugh like a loud congested hyena, so maybe that doesn't hinder my view on the joint. The bartenders Morgan, Christina, John and Emma are all amazing. They all pay attention to you, regardless of whats between your legs. Please give this bar a chance. Just dont sit where we sit, or play shitty music please. Thank you!

We are from out of town and we were looking for a local place to eat and drink. There's something special about stepping into a local spot that isn't part of a chain, where the charm is authentic and the welcome feels personal. This cozy country bar hit all the right notes. Great vibe and music. At 5:00pm on a Friday, it was peacefully quiet--just the kind of relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for. The service? Prompt, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. The space was spotless and clearly cared for, with a family-friendly vibe that made us feel right at home. Prices were perfect. Food wise and drink wise. We had bourbon and wine. We both went for the single smashed burgers, paired with a mountain of golden fries. And when we say a lot of fries, we mean it. Crispy, satisfying, and generously portioned--definitely worth every penny. The burgers were delicious, simple and flavorful, just what comfort food should be. If you are from out of town or local, stop by. This place is perfect!!!

Bartender/waitress was very nice, though it was a little upsetting that after she delivered my food and I asked for another beer, she decided it was more important to change the channel to a basketball game that someone else requested (the game had JUST started...he could have waited) AND she got him a drink (maybe he was a regular, but still.) Either way, I'm SUPER glad that my company is paying for the $23 cheeseburger I ordered on a whim, because it was NOT good! The cheese sticks appetizer (which cost half as much) were AMAZING but holy moly. The music was good if you like early 90's alternative (which I do) but other than that I don't really reccommend this place.

It's in the "downtown" section of Daphne, which is pretty small but easy to find. It's parallel to Hwy 98 on scenic 98. Speaking of small, there are a couple of comfy seating areas, with couches and chairs, high-top tables, and a small bar. Upon entering we noticed the shotgun shake elongated space but it's very laid back and intimate with a nice atmosphere and vibe. Despite the limited space, they had a dude playing guitar and singing by the front door, nice and mellow too. There's a respectable choice of wines, but not overdone like some of the more pretentious places plus they have several craft beers, beers on tap and sparkling fizzy choices. Good news, if you're not a connoisseur you can also sample some of the wines, nice touch. We were greeted by Jessica, she rocked, and she guided us through the specials and all about the wines and foods. She took excellent care of us throughout the visits and made it a joy. While they had a bbq chicken slider being made that was not on the menu, and it sounded good, we got a flatbread pizza and the roasted red pepper hummus with pita bread and veggies. Both were outstanding, fresh, and a very good pairing for my sweetheart's wine and the stout beer that I chose. However, I regretted not getting their huge and inviting-looking charcuterie board, it's loaded full of different cheeses, olives, meats, and more, next time for sure. I got to meet quite a few people from our group, everyone seemed to enjoy their choices of food and libations so I feel pretty good that everyone enjoyed themselves and I look forward to doing it again real soon! Big shout out to Chace Yamagata for making it all happen, way to go!!!!!!! Bottom line: The atmosphere, friendly people, and great service, with creative and fresh food offerings and course the wines make this a really great place anytime.
