    Reuben with pasta salad
    Madeleine W.

I'm back on the eat beat! I'll tell you this little gem has been a favorite of ours for many years but I just love the windmill market location. You can get your items from the fridge or order it how you want it. Specializing in sandwiches as most delis do the Reuben is my favorite! I always swap the homemade chips for their amazing pasta salad. A pickle on the side makes this meal even better. When I'm not going for a sandwich the chef salad is always my other choice. I was a little upset today as my son loved their corn dogs and we were told "new menu, no corn dogs" ohhh no, he opted for a hot dog and never even touched it. Be sure, absolutely sure you give their mud bites a try! They are just the right size of sweetness for under a buck!

First time trying Mary Anne's. My parents love it and always rave about it. I had the RTC III and it was delicious.

Very poor food quality and poor customer service. The cafe is also very noisy and echos. I do not recommend this Mary Ann's Deli.

They ruined the grilled pimento cheese with too much mayo! Disappointing.

The transaction went smoothly for the most part after a quick squabble with his teammate over giving me change for a tip. I waited in anticipation (and on the verge of hangry- not their fault) for about 10 minutes. NOTE: There were no other orders pending and one other couple eating in that already had their food. When I got home, to say the least, it was something I could have put together myself, better taste, equal cost. The food was mediocre at best. Just bummed out because I have fond memories of HBH since I was young - not really the lunch menu, but the customer service and the delicious ham for holidays. I understand food costs -really, I do. And I have no qualms about paying for food and do so often. But this was not worth my money- after a tip, it was $20. Hopefully, they will step it up for others, especially with so many options in our town.

There was only one table occupied and server attended to me right away. I ordered classic ham sandwich and an additional bag of chips. The order was ready momentarily, though I noticed, there were no chips. The server was still in kitchen and I called to him that I was taking the chips from rack since it was not included. He sprinted to register and said that I must pay for another bag. Patiently I explained that I ordered extra chips initially. It didn't seem to phase him as he rung up the 4oz bag. Several years ago I was in the restaurant business; if I made an error, I doubled and discounted the customer's bill. He did not care! Btw, the sandwich was tasty.
