Energetic and loud environment, with a beautiful interior. Food tasted amazing but was a tad expensive for what it is. Service was great and prompt. Very enjoyable!

Local bar with friendly staff. Soups and sandwiches are their specialty. Live entertainment nightly. Philly cheesesteak is my go to. Chicken Philly is also a hit. Try the Philly cheese steak egg rolls.

This place is super cool and definitely my husband and I's kind of place. The only thing I didn't care for was the "stuffed mushrooms" only cause it was more like a soup, but they still tasted yummy. Service was great and fast. The outside area is very cool! Their signature cocktail, sloop juice, was super yummy! Worth a checkout for sure!

    Kevin loved it!

Such a cool place! Great staff and yummy food. Cold beer was extra good. Thankful for a quick lunch place to break up the work day!

Amazing as always! Everything is always so good and service is spot on. Definitely a favorite spot

Followed the Yelp to this spot on an evening when we just wanted an "easy" dinner. Small, unassuming spot with a laid back vibe, coastal decor and a chill atmosphere. The clientele was split between locals and vacationers, young and old. There was no live entertainment when we were there, but it seems like it would be a great spot for a casual hang out with drinks and music. Speaking of drinks - ours weren't anything exceptional, but they gave a good pour and basically anything is refreshing when the temps are outrageous!! I appreciated the generous serving of limes :) Our sandwiches were delicious! I had a Philly with chicken and it was solid with good flavor and great bread. The chips on the side were crisp and salty in the best way. Service was fast and friendly. We almost wish our food had taken longer because we were enjoying taking in our surroundings and watching the games on the TVs Definitely worth a stop if you are in town and looking for a great sandwich in a quaint location!

Local "dive bar" ambiance with great food. Came for some drinks and good food. Small parking lot, many clearly parked in the lot next door(despite signage indicating it was for the boat dockage across the street). Service was good. Cheesesteak was VERY good. Dessert - the Cheesecake eggroll... wow, absolutely delicious! Don't let the rough appearance fool you, the food is VERY good... as in the "hole in the wall" vibe.

Super nice staff. Mai Tai and Lemon Drop were excellent. The Sloop Dog is a must have.

The all-you-can-eat family-style breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of delicious food for everyone. What really made the experience special was how interactive the performers were. Before the show, they walked around the restaurant chatting with guests and engaging with the kids. Our 10-year-old had an absolute blast and was entertained from start to finish. Our server, Alina, was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our first visit so much that we returned the next day for lunch. TJ was our server and provided equally outstanding service. My husband ordered the po'boy, I had the fried shrimp basket, and our son chose the grilled shrimp. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. I also tried the Shark Attack drink, which was not only delicious but came with a fun presentation that added to the experience. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere kept drawing us back. Whether you're visiting with kids or just looking for a unique dining experience, this place is definitely worth a visit. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in town!

The vibes of this restaurant are great. Very lively and upbeat. It was Easter Sunday, so the kids received treat bags with Easter eggs filled with candy. That was so nice. I had the smothered snapper. It was phenomenal! It was flavorful, light, and flaky. My husband had the ultimate boil with snow crab. He enjoyed it and the trough of garlic butter for dipping. The kids also enjoyed their food. Now to the shenanigans...so much fun! The kids loved dancing on the tables. All of the staff were so fun and friendly! Loved the music and the DJ. The kids loved playing outside, the foam party, and we all loved the live music. This is the ultimate spring break stop. We didn't try the gelato, but maybe next time.

We were seated on the corner of the patio, which provided a beautiful view and a relaxing atmosphere. Several other guests warned us about aggressive seagulls, but thankfully they weren't an issue during our visit. To start, we ordered the buffalo dip. It was tasty and well-prepared, though it was fairly simple and something that could easily be recreated at home. For my entrée, I ordered the sourdough burger without onions and added bacon. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My husband went with the Double Pony Burger, which was absolutely massive. He thoroughly enjoyed it and had no complaints. I also tried the Seven-Headed Dragon cocktail, which is similar to a Long Island Iced Tea. It was delicious, packed a serious punch, and is definitely not a drink to underestimate! Our server was friendly and pleasant, although there were a few times when he seemed to disappear for a while, and our food took a bit longer to arrive than we expected. Even so, the atmosphere helped make up for the wait. As we were finishing up, they were getting ready to start karaoke, which looked like it would be a lot of fun and added to the lively beach-town vibe. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, the waterfront setting, and the laid-back atmosphere. While service could have been a little more attentive, I would absolutely come back for a cocktail, an appetizer, and to enjoy the view again.

Our appetizers were the 4 pieces coconut shrimp and the pita bread chips with spinach dip. Both really yummy and good portion size, too. Apparently it is not important enough to service staff to understand what is like to have someone in your party that has a food allergy. The most important thing, is to have the ability to empathize with your guests, and make their experience a good one. If there is an issue with cross contamination in your kitchen, then create an area in the kitchen solely to address those with food allergy needs. For example, when your customer tells you the sprite has no flavor, you don't just come back and tell them it looks fine to me and everything is hooked up. Try tasting it yourself and at least bring a new cup of it to the table. Don't come back empty handed. Then there was the Crab Cakes. After all of the seafood places I have been to in the southeast I found these crab cakes to be just so so. If you are going to deep fry them, please understand that the crab meat will turn to the consistency of tuna salad and is not pleasant to eat whatsoever. Perhaps skip the breading/deep fry and pan fry them instead? While the breading on the crab cake was crisp and delicious, it was a little off setting to have mushy crab on the inside. Again, this was a beautiful venue with a great view. I am troubled by the lack of attention to detail, especially when it comes to addressing your guests.

Our server, Michael was absolutely wonderful. (Plus he has amazing hair!) Anyway, we started with my Smoked Old Fashioned (It was ok, bartender went a little heavy on the bitters, and I should've asked for Bulleit Rye but that was my bad.) Anyway, Honey got a Black and Blue. Both came out super quick and we were instantly refreshed. We chose to sit in the patio bc the weather was nice and not too hot or cold. It was just right. We started with the ColCannon Boxty Appetizer. It is small balls of shredded potatoes that are fried, and come with a delish aioli dipping sauce. Coming for dinner on a Friday night, we were definitely concerned about getting a spot to eat. Parking is definitely limited, but we were pleased to find there was no way for a table outside. The weather was lovely and the music piped outside (often featuring Irish artists such as one of my favorites, Hozier!) made the whole atmosphere perfect. The inside is cute (albeit dim) and fulfills the pub fantasy. The ladies' restroom was clean. Our waitress was cheerful and fun. It took a little while for her to come get our drink order but after that she was johnny on the spot. The other waitstaff was friendly and professional too. My parents split the fish and chips, I got the chicken pot pie, and we split a side of colcannon. The sweet tea I had to drink was a little on the unsweet side for me, but I often find that's the case at restaurants on the gulf...further evidence that Florida/the gulf area is fundamentally different from the rest of the Deep South. Lol. My parents definitely enjoyed the fish and chips overall. I think my dad was hoping for a little more salt/seasoning in the fish breading but my mom was VERY pleased with hers. I'd never had colcannon before and thought what we got was just alright, figuring it wasn't really for me. My mom, who's tried it a few times different places, said she'd had a lot better. It had a pretty strong beer taste from the gravy on top. I'd be curious to try it again somewhere else and see how it compares. The shining star of the night was definitely my chicken pot pie. The crust was delightfully brown, the chicken was succulent and plentiful, and the sauce it swam in with the tender veggies was super flavorful and aromatic. It was perfect for a very slightly chilly evening. The brown bread served with it was absolutely delightful too, warm and rich and topped with delicious herb butter. I could easily eat a whole loaf. This was a great meal! Thanks for a unique and tasty dinner in Gulf Shores! I highly recommend the chicken pot pie to anyone considering it. :)
