They updated their operating hours too, so they are now open daily from 11 AM to 10 PM. I really wish the corporate office of Island Wings would shut it down and reopen with new management and new staff. The wings were also okay, but nothing memorable. The chicken pot pie was unique and clearly made fresh. It contained shredded chicken, which was a little different, and had a strong spice flavor that I couldn't identify (tarragon). I didn't dislike it, but I wouldn't reorder. The Old Fashioned was disappointing. The Guinness and French 75 were both good and met expectations. None of the food was actually bad. We simply had much higher expectations based on the restaurant's reputation and what we were told they do exceptionally well. Service was good, and the atmosphere was cool. Clearly, I'm in the minority because this place has excellent reviews--especially on Yelp, where reviewers can be pretty tough.
