Great staff. I was concerned about the fact that smoking is allowed but i didn't even notice.

If I could give the bartender a 5 star I would. I don't think she knew what was going on. This is not about the bartender. I walked in and was disrespected as soon I sat down with my husband. From across the way a man with a hat and blue shirt was blowing me kisses. As if I didn't walk in with my husband. Another African American man was smiling at me. Thankfully. I'm very aware of my surroundings. A young lady walks up to us. She's like you're so pretty. They won't mess with you. You will be ok. I'm like who's they? She kept staring at my with an evil eye necklace. She asked me for my name and walked away. She went to sit down with the guy with the blue shirt. As if I don't understand what you're doing with your spirit. Im blessed to have god on my side. I don't accept negative energy. A heavy set man came up talking to me throwing racial comments as if I was a fool and didn't understand. I told him we don't speak Spanish and he kept going, proceeded to tell my husband I've never seen a PBR shirt. Sir, maybe you should get some new clothes! I didn't feel safe at all. I understand im from out of town but you can't just come up to someone you don't know start pretending like you're funny as I catch your racism. I might not be as nice as I was giving bc I'm not in my town and I was trying to respect. I've NEVER felt so uncomfortable in a hole in a bar til this day. When I tell you I travel and support bars in different states and cities. I love it. This had to be the worse experience. As we walked out I see all the man walk up to eating me alive. As if they've never seen a women before. I understand my body type is not the usual and my race. Someone yelled out gracias. Get with the times! Yall are a mixed crowed and racist. My son wanted to check out their new location so here we all are. They place is much bigger & the band ain't half bad. First of all this is a BAR, so they allow smoking throughout the building. Why is that important? Because it boggles the mind that reviewers leave an ugly review about how smokey it is, I mean it is what it is. I am one of those former smokers who's not thrilled with a smokey room or smoke in general but my expectations were adjusted accordingly before I showed up. Heck back in the day when I played poker tournaments I used to be in very close proximity to a bunch of smokers for hours on end, but once again, it is what it is. My clothes did smell smokey when I came home last night but we'll it is ..... I digress. So, my son and I first visited the p old location if The Office because they hold regular cash poker games. (AL is one of the few states that make it okay to hold these kind of live regular cash poker games) The former place was fairly small venue with just a few pool tables in a strip mall and very smokey. However this is very big stand alone two story building with a big private parking lot. Inside there's a dozen pool tables, a few (entertainment only) slot machines, a couple dart machines, two bars and a full size area for a live band. I didn't see the upstairs but we were told that as soon as the restrictions are lifted that there's where the poker games will be held. There's lots of drink specials and a couple decent full bars but if you use a credit card there's a $10 minimum. That credit minimum thing was something that they imposed from their previous incarnation and if you want to use credit and only want a single drink then you can purchase drink chips to be used at a later time. Other than the smoke the place is pretty clean but the bathrooms are what you might expect for a lot of bars, they're not "drunk disgusting" but not exactly luxurious, nuff said. They had a really good band and there was free pool for everyone in a Saturday night! Another big draw is that they are open until 3am which is a pretty big deal because this tourist area rolls up very early 7 days a week. Bottom line: It's a bar and it's smokey but it's open late and you're less than a mile from a 24/7 Whataburger so there's that. read more

IDK what those other reviewers were doing other than being utter dickheads. This place is clean, laid back, friendly and has good sports stuff like pool, video games, poker, darts, etc. Yes, it is a smoking bar but they have powerful ionizing filters to keep it clean. Only drawback is no kitchen. Locals may be a little slow to warm up to you but is their bar so be nice and you will be OK. read more

Don't care for this place, They named it right for sure! Feels just like your in an office and have to be quite, can't even have a good time because your worried you'll get in trouble. Unreal. Staff sucks also. Really rude! Drinks seem watery. read more

The office lounge is top notch!!! If you're looking for the game, whether it's football, hockey or baseball if it's on they'll make it happen for you! If you're just getting out for the night and having an adult beverage they have pool, darts, shuffle board all kinds of fun things to do. If you want to play competitive they even run all kinds of leagues out of here. The staff is always friendly and service is terrific! This place is like your modern day cheers! read more

This is a local bar... Period. If you don't come in here all of the time, expect subpar service! In the middle of our order a regular came to cash out, and we were ignored. My husband was I the middle of asking if they had Busch light..ignored. Will never go back we left after that drink read more

This place needs to get educated. As a bartender and a 27 year old, I FULLY understand the rules of bartending and consequences of serving underagers. I wish this place did too! But they've got it all wrong. Instead of looking at the micro-print, overlay film and hologram, tactile features, ghost image, overlapping data, and laser embossing on my ID they rejected it because there is a price printed on the back (next to micro-print and laser images). Look up what's real and what's not please for your future customers; EVERY state has a different price for ID cards and drivers licenses and just because Alabama doesn't put their cost on their IDs does NOT mean that out-of-state IDs with a price aren't valid. Just moved close by; I'm a restaurant and bar employee in Gulf Shores and was excited to come to this dive bar and make it my go-to spot after shifts on my way home.
