This is local sports bar and today they are celebrating wing day with 50 cents wing today and the next two days! We were immediately greeted at the door and seated and were greeted by our server Miranda who explained to us the wing day special. The place is clean and there are several tables even though we have planned our visit during the off afternoon hours. There are TV's everywhere to watch all sports and music playing in the background. The ladies restroom was clean. Our wings arrived within 10 minutes of ordering along with a side of fries. Maybe on some nights the food is adequate but I was told to check it out and I was hugely disappointed. First I ordered a blue moon and they were out. We then ordered our food and the burger was greatly overcooked, missing cheese, and condiments had to be asked for again. This is a combo of waiter and grill team. I ordered the fish tacos, which at $14.99 I expect a decent taco but I was glad I didn't get the extra taco since that's what I typically get when I order tacos in Florida. When the tacos came out they felt light and then I took a bite and I didn't get any fish. I first thought they forgot the fist but they served two tacos with a piece of fish in each that were no larger than 2 inches. I told the waitress and she got the manager to fix the issue and they then delivered soggy and greasy tortillas. Definitely disappointed and this place is a 1 and done. read more

This place is nestled toward the corner of a busy shopping center. There's an outdoor patio and a large indoor space with a lot of TVs showing an array of different sports on them. I was travelling solo, and when I arrived, I checked out the bar area, but there were no seats available. I was then seating in a quaint booth with probably the only poor view of the tvs in the place. (My game was not on any of the nearby tvs, so I put it on my phone). I was nervous at first because I was clearly not a priority, but a nice server came and said she would go ahead and take me. I'll speak to that first - the service was great. I felt very tended to. My server was very friendly, and the manager made her rounds while I was there. Several others helped with bringing my food and drink out, and they were all quick as well. So the service would be a 5/5. The food and drink were sadly another story. I read somewhere this is an Alabama based restaurant (maybe it's not?), but they certainly lack in representing the delicious booming brewery scene in the state. There were two "local" beers listed, and they were out of one. My server told me about the one other not on the menu, so I got that. It was good, so I am glad she knew it was available. They have a full bar and lots of cocktails listed. The sad thing is that the main dish was just an overall disappointment. I ordered the grilled fish tacos. Thankfully, the fish seemed to be seasoned okay enough, but they were super dry, served on store bought flour tortillas (think Mission brand) which had been warmed/cooked just enough to make them fall apart when you bit into them. There was thick graded cheese and super thick coleslaw pieces on them. I think there may have been a little tiny sauce on one of them, but I don't know what it was. They were served with curly fries, and those were okay. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing. I think they go for "elevated bar food", so it seems maybe other dishes are better. I don't usually stop in this area or stay here (this will be a once a year stop to the area now), and if I do, I saw about 10 other places to catch a game and get good food. So, sadly I probably won't get to experience it again. I don't love doing a one and done review system, but I'll maybe find a truly local to the area place next time I'm there. read more

Normally, I would rate a bit higher but the last few visits haven't been great. We ordered 30 wings. We got 27. We ordered two flavors. All "27" were one flavor. We brought it to the waiters attention and he took half the wings back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, the same wings were returned to our table on the same plate with the flavor sauce we ordered pour over the top. The manager came by and asked how our dinner was, I explained the situation and she asked if we wanted a dessert or something. I told her we wanted them to bring out 15 fresh wings with the correct flavor. The waiter acted completely clueless as to what the issue was. Delicious lunch before going to the movies at the AMC theater walking distance from the restaurant. I enjoyed the lunch portion chicken fingers with fries. Fried perfectly and served with fries and ranch dressing to dip the fries and fingers. My husband ordered a burger. Join a friend for lunch. Ordered the bowl of étouffée probably some of the worst étouffé I've ever had. Told the waitress she sent a manager over told the manager she said sorry about that. Our server, Jewel, was just that...a jewel. She was amazing and had such an awesome personality putting up with our big table and our shenanigans. I do have to say, the floor underneath our table could have been alot cleaner. The floor was very slippery, I couldn't get out of the Boothe at all holding my sleeping toddler. I couldn't get any traction with my sneakers at all. I also noticed that the tv's and the top part of the restaurant needs cleaning. There was a lot of dust. The food was good. No complaints there. I had the small wings plate that had 6 wings. I ordered the hot level buffalo sauce on them and a side order of French fries. I was not disappointed in my food. I ate all the wings and my daughter and I almost finished the fries. The game was on, so the atmosphere was eccentric and loud with all the excitement. The food was excellent. Cooked to PERFECTION! Crystal came by our table to check on us. We were very impressed. We very seldom go out to eat anymore because it is so expensive and then usually the food is lack luster at best but both dinners were amazing! I think our server was super new and could have been a little more efficient but I'm positive he will get there, he did prebus which is more than I can say for some more seasoned servers at other places. For context of this review, we were 8 hours into a trip back to Texas from Florida, taking a stop to meet up with a teammate who was staying in Daphne for the night. We arrived around 7:10 PM and were notified there may be an up to 30 minute wait, which was fine by us. After about 15 minutes, we were promptly greeted and seated. Joy was our server and she was a real joy to have, very personable, attentive, and brought a calming presence. She asked if we'd eaten there before, what brought us in, and if we had any questions. After taking our drink order, she gave us time to look over the menu. She made one of the best Arnold Palmers I've had with a perfect ratio of sweet tea to lemonade. She took our order but made recommendations as well. She said she was Cajun so she loved that style of food. We asked what they're known for and she recommended the etouffee bowl as well as getting gooey fries with our kid's meals. She had a busy section but made sure to come check on us and get us refills while we chatted. Sam, the manager, stopped by to greet us and apologize for the wait for the food, a wait we honestly didn't notice. Their attentiveness made the experience for me. On Mother's Day back home, we went to eat at another restaurant and were subjected to an extremely unreasonable wait time (the restaurant was sparsely filled) and we had to look for our server and a manager who then gave us an implausible reason as to why we waited so long. Joy and Sam more than made up for that experience and on Father's Day nonetheless. Even the food runner was kind as well. The food and portions were perfect. For dessert, my friend had beignets for the first time (delicious) and their fried banana pudding: wow! Back to the road trip context: we still had 9 more hours of driving and what was meant to be a quick stop ended up being a relaxing dinner with friends, all because of how comfortable the staff made us feel. Our night was capped off with Joy wishing us safe travels and Sam asking how everything was as he escorted us all to the door. It was a very memorable and pleasant experience that gave us the extra wind to finish off our last half of the drive home. If ever you're in the metro-Mobile area, the service alone is enough of a reason to stop in. read more

The service is great, the ambiance is sporty, and I know that most of you go here for the wings, BUT if you get a wild hair for something lighter and different, I highly recommend the Caribbean Grilled White Fish. Seasoned to perfection and not spicy, it is my absolute favorite thing on the menu. Wild rice and broccoli compliment it well. Went on a Thursday afternoon and had a great time. Accidentally found it looking for something else and was very happy we did. Driving through to Florida we stopped about 1 and were greeted and sat quickly. Our server was very nice and friendly Keagan K. Wife had the tailgate burger, son had the chicken tenders and I had the Geaux fish. All of it was good portions and very tasty. We are from south Louisiana and enjoyed the food. Even the wife who is picky on Cajun food liked the etouffee which is hard to do. Price was really good too. Looked like they were under a little construction but I didn't even notice until I walked to the bathroom. Games and sports playing on many tv's and music in the background. Baumhower's seems to be hit-or-miss anymore. Some days the food and service are great; other days, one or both is/are lacking. Twice this week the music has been inappropriately loud and the bass has been turned up to the point we felt we were eating in a club. We asked for the bass to be turned down, as this was the issue first, but not long after the bass was reduced, the overall volume of the music was turned up. We could hardly hear each other at our own table! The food was pretty good, and the service was okay. My biggest complaint on service was that our server would stand between two people and either reach across others or expect us to stop eating in order to hand her things. We will probably be back because we love their wings (when they've done them right/well), but it's a shame to visit and the environment be uncomfortable and service/quality be inconsistent. read more

But when our food did come out it was wrong and had different things than what the menu said. People came in 15-20 mins after us and got food before we did. This is a sports bar so dont be expecting major things. Its ambience is definitely sports. The food is good. It not great. The cooks need to learn the difference between medium, medium rare and rare. The server Kacie was friendly and checked back often. It was a bit loud at times but it's a sports place. The good news is for a non fast food restaurant the prices are very reasonable and a family can eat a sit down meal of something more than boxed kids meals or pizza for a decent price. If we are in the area we will probably stop back but I don't think I would make it the purpose of my trip. read more

So the service and the food was pretty good for the area and the chainesque restaurant. Overall the food was pretty tasty, cooked well and the wings were delicious. I typically like grilled and crispy wings and these were not that but the sauce was great and I would definitely eat them again. The burger was cooked great and curley fries were tasty but definitely not the freshest. There multiple hickups with the orders but the staff was very apologetic and did their absolute best. Without the staff this place would be hovering in that 2 to 3 star range. The thing I really didn't appreciate was that Covid was absolutely not taken seriously. There is a little bleacher bench that people wait at inside and half the people were not wearing masks. Most of the staff was wearing masks wrong and no gloves at all. The restaurant does have space separation between parties once you are seated. We were the only people sitting outside.... But that's Alabama for ya. For alcohol, I would stick to bottled beer here. read more

We brought our son in last week and the quality has gone WAY downhill! We came at 6:30-6:45 and there was a wait! But we were seated and served VERY QUICKLY!!! Our server was Cody and he was personable! We saw him connect with each of his tables and routinely check for refills or issues. He gave excellent service! Our food was cooked amazingly.
