The food is too overpriced for what you get. I got the pollo loco, and the grilled chicken was flavorful but it definitely was not worth the price. We came for the soft serve margs, which were pretty good. The service was okay, and the inside of the restaurant was clean and looked nice. Probably not coming back. read more

Pretty run of the mill Mexican restaurant. Waitress came to our table twice, once of which was to take our orders. Food was not extremely desirable. The meat had an off-putting taste/texture depending on which you chose according to my whole party. Salsa left much to be desired. Finally!!! I get to write a positive, "I loved it" review. You may have noticed ,I review many places with both good and bad experiences always beginning with a POSITIVE note (if there is one) and then try ending with same. This place, however, will get positives all the way through, from stem to stern. Parking is easy, but enough about that. OMG when you enter, you get greeted by a beautiful "white-leaved" tree with red intermittent lights. Beautiful and calming to get you started. We came early so parking and seating were ample. I did note that from the time we were seated, there was a constant "stream" of new customers, some 6 and 8-top tables. This was looking good to me. Our waiter Kevin (which was kind, courteous and attentive) came along and took our order. After he left we had time to look at the "eye candy" in the restaurant. Stunning chandeliers with vibrant colours. The atmosphere was clean, bright and welcoming. Not all that tacky decor that does nothing more than collect dust. Ok, now the food!!! My compliments to the cooks/chefs and everyone involved. The presentation was stunning...as though some forethought was put into the plating, not like in a chow line. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were pretty good too. Everything had it's unique flavour and looked to be homemade and fresh. If you like salsa, they give you a bowl with chips as the free-appetizer and boy-howdy, you'll get hooked on the salsa esp. if you like roasted red bell pepper. Okay I'm giving a four star for the ambiance and the service and I really , really want to see this place thrive and stay in business but some things need to be addressed - the food was bad and I mean really bad . The entire thing was bad - these recipes need to be changed everything from the hot salsa served in the beginning to the entrees and the drinks. I had a Bloody Mary and it was just bad go to ashamed pub and have a Bloody Mary and then see how yours compares - it doesn't . I ordered the fajitas and they came out nice and sizzling, but the meats hadn't been cut into strips small enough to use (a chicken breast was literally only cut in half) and the tortillas were small, so it took some work to finish cutting everything. read more

My server Kevin gave some of the worst service I've ever experienced. Actually, calling it "service" is generous, because he didn't do a single thing a server is supposed to do. He never once checked on us. Not a "hello," not a "how's everything," nothing. We got our food from the food runner because Kevin apparently decided we weren't worth even walking over to the table. For the entire 30-40 minutes we were there, he didn't bother to come by even once -- no refills, no napkins, no follow-up, not even eye contact. It was like we were invisible. If Kevin is this uninterested in doing his job, he shouldn't be working with customers at all. It was lazy, unprofessional, and honestly disrespectful. I've had better service at the busiest fast-food drive-thru at rush hour. This was completely unacceptable, and Kevin's attitude and lack of effort dragged down the entire experience. I wouldn't recommend anyone sit in his section unless they want to be ignored the whole time. Sierra and Dillan made my visit a GREAT one. I really enjoyed talking with them both. We connected, she even showed me pictures of her baby.
