Wanting to try something different for lunch, decided to stop in. I had a peach tea and Albondigas. The Albondigas was a lunch special for $10.99. The peach tea was very "peachy" and good. It leaned more towards a peach juice drink which was fine as it was very good. The entree was good also. The meatballs did seem as they may have been microwaved as the center was warmer than the outside. The rice, coleslaw and fried plantains were good and went together well. Overall it was a good lunch for a good price. Minus 1 point only for the unevenness of the temperature of the meatballs. Otherwise

First time trying Venezuelan food, and this place is delicious! Everything we tried was freshly prepared with nice flavors that blended well. Inside is very clean with pleasant staff. Will be back for sure!

The food was great! I ordered the Carne mechada PATACONE and enjoyed it. Very unique flavors but very tasty. The waitress was super friendly and very attentive. Will definitely go back again and try something different.

We've been in Mobile for a couple of years now, and have missed our favorite Venezuelan restaurant in Denver; we were so glad to have found this place! The restaurant feels both spacious and cozy at the same time--they have a wall covered in faux greenery and a cheerful little neon sign. There are three TV's, only one of which had the sound on--which made us happy, because we're not big fans of TV's in restaurants (they tend to easily overwhelm a place and be distracting). The volume on the one TV was not overwhelming, so it was nice to be able to talk to each other without raising our voices and repeating ourselves. There is a LOT to choose from on their menu, and it was difficult to pick just one thing--so many things sounded good. It is a little on the pricey side, but worth it for a special (or any) occasion. We had the Bandeja Mixta appetizer (a combination plate of fried yucca, plantains, arepitas, and sauces) that was very good. We'd never had yucca before, but it won't be our last time. For our entrees, my dining partner and I chose arepas (grilled corn cakes) -- he had the fried pork arepa, and I had the Pabellón, which was shredded beef, black beans, plantain and cheese. We both loved our arepas. It was hard to pick up my arepa (as one would a sandwich)--the contents were overflowing and dripping onto the table, LOL. Black beans everywhere, but worth it. The beef was tender, juicy and flavorful, and the fried plantain was a great addition (slightly sweet, and starchier/milder than a banana). My partner had a large passion fruit drink, another first for us. It tasted like a very mild and sweeter version of grapefruit, to me. It was great to find someplace different amidst all of the fried chicken, seafood and BBQ places in Mobile--many of which are very good, but variety is the spice of life.

Soo good. We hadn't been to a Venezuelan restaurant before and kind of picked random menu items. We started with the mix sampler which was a good start. Especially the tequenos, which are fried cheese sticks. The parilla de carne came out super tender and delicious. My teens had arepas pelua, and empanadas, both which were popular. I especially recommend the arapas for kids. I had the pabellon criollo, a traditional plate with black beans, shredded beef, rice and plantains. It was perfect, very well seasoned. The service was also friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

Fresh ingredients, layered tastes, beautifully prepared, crisp yucca, soft maduros, authentic Venezuelan fare. Simple, clean decor with Spanish videos. Could have been in Venezuela. Got to practice my Spanish. Look forward to going back and exploring the rather extensive menu. Great service. We were there for lunch. Not crowded.

I asked my coworker to join me on this venture of tasting Venezuelan food for the first time. Our server spoke a little bit of english but she understood what we wanted to eat. I forgot what my coworker ordered but I do remember my order (Cochino frito). It was so good, super cheesy if you like cheese and the fried pork belly is very delicious. The toppings complimented each part on my dish. Looking forward to trying out other dishes.

Tequeños (cheese sticks- better than mozzarella sticks) and Cachapa (grilled corn dough filled with multiple cheeses and fried pork bites)

We decided to stop here because we were craving something different to eat. As soon as we stepped inside, we were impressed by how clean and neat everything looked. The owners were very nice and gave us great recommendations on what to order. The food arrived pretty fast and we were happy to find fresh and delicious food. Everything was made to order and full of flavor. The portions are substantial and we all had leftovers. After eating, we stopped at the register where they have traditional Venezuelan candies and other goodies and I couldn't help myself from trying some of their candy. Overall, I have not a single thing to complain about and I would highly recommend this place.

Empanadas were delicious! Fresh and crunchy. And the dipping sauce was amazing

The Mac and cheese is some of the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. The rice and beans are delicious along with the plantains. The Cole slaw is also the best Cole slaw in the area. They…read morewere apologetic and gave me a free meal on next visit, but I never used it because I lost the piece of note she (the owner) provided. This visit, the moment I walked to the counter I was greeted with a smile, and I remember her from my first visit. I ordered the 1/2 chicken because it was only $3 more than a 1/4 chicken with 2 sides. You get both white and dark meat and I order fried Yucca and black beans & rice. The chicken has so much flavor from the charcoal. The Yucca was perfectly fried fresh, and the black beans and rice were satisfying. It is a little pricey about $27 with fountain drink and a 15% tip (in my opinion they should not ask with their point of sale system when it is not a full service restaurant). This is the reason why they got a 3 star instead of 4 stars. This reminds me of Peruvian style rotisserie chicken that I use to eat when I lived in Washington DC area. Here, they are branded as Latin American Charcoal Chicken. This not a full service restaurant. You order at the counter and pick up at the order at the other end. They have a small but adequate dining room. I wonder how they are during a lunch and dinner rush. I will soon see.
