The restaurant

Title: Extremely Unprofessional Service - No Stars I called ahead to place a food order and was put on hold for 15 minutes. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was still on hold. I showed the lady behind the counter that my phone was still connected, and instead of apologizing, she became visibly upset with me and said, "Can't you see I'm busy? What do you want me to say, I'm sorry?" I asked to speak with the owner, and she responded, "That's me." At that point, I decided to just go ahead and place my order anyway. I asked for oxtail, and she rudely replied that she didn't have any. I then ordered a chicken empanada, and she took the order. While I was on the phone with my daughter who wanted the oxtails, I mentioned how rude she had been. She overheard me and immediately said she was canceling my order. I left, but then realized I forgot to get the receipt showing the cancellation. When I went back inside to request it, she made me wait another 10 minutes, then canceled the order again in front of me and handed me the receipt. The entire experience was unprofessional and uncomfortable. The customer service was extremely poor, especially coming from someone who stated she was the owner. I would not recommend this place based on how customers are treated.

A cozy fun little restaurant.

The food was very good. Good ingredients, very tasty. Like homecooking. The service was excellent, we were served by the owners daughter and she was very pleasent and explained the dishes. I would say the inside decor was nice. They just opened not long ago. Well lit. Not a romantic place but a hip new vibe. The floor was unique and funky. Worth a trip as the most important thing the food was very good.

Patacon de pollo

The place is nice, the food is ok but it was lacking flavor. I have had Venezuelan food multiple times before and this was like it was not really seasoned. The food took too long to come out, and we were the only ones in there. They have not alcohol whatsoever. The waitress was very nice.

So good I had to rate multiple times

The place was very clean and the man at the front was friendly and kind on top of that the food was amazing best burger I've ever had and I've eaten lots

Great customer service and delicious flavorful Latin food! The restaurant was clean and the ambiance included Latin music and video played from a raised television safely hung in the corner of the restaurant. My husband and I would definitely eat here again.

Bodegón Sabor Latino is the authentic flavors of Venezuela right on 9 mile road in Pensacola. The arepas are absolutely amazing! I have not tasted an arepa that authentic since I was in South America. The same goes for the delicious Empanadas. They have traditional Venezuelan drinks, and many plate dishes/meals that everyone will enjoy. Both home made sauces were so good, or as they say these days, fire! You want to take the bottle home! So many delicious home made deserts and even some chocolates that you would commonly find in Venezuela and Colombia. The staff was exceedingly friendly and like family. I hope they stay open in Pensacola as long as I live here because they are the real deal for delicious homemade Latin-American food. Plenty of room inside to bring a group. Many tables with four chairs and could even pull some together. Buen provecho! Five stars! Try them out.

Needed a Sunday snack...and passed by this new place on 9 mile....small set up but very friendly folks...Ordered a few Empanadas and a special dish....Parrilla....Grilled Ribeye, Sausage over Yucca and lettuce and what seemed like a garlic cilantro sauce......So good!!! The Empanadas were a bit small but tasty......will try during the week next time because the hot table of food will be available to select ltems from. Swing by and support local business......!!!!

Absolutely delicious! I travel out of my way (if that is possible in Pensacola) to get their food.

We love this place. The staff is friendly, and the food is amazing…read more The chicken is juicy and flavorful, the skin of course is the best part. The Mac and cheese is some of the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. The rice and beans are delicious along with the plantains. The Cole slaw is also the best Cole slaw in the area. We love having this place walking distance to us. It's a perfect lunch or dinner spot.

I went to their soft opening and they ran out of chicken and never came back until now 2/2025. They…read morewere apologetic and gave me a free meal on next visit, but I never used it because I lost the piece of note she (the owner) provided. This visit, the moment I walked to the counter I was greeted with a smile, and I remember her from my first visit. I ordered the 1/2 chicken because it was only $3 more than a 1/4 chicken with 2 sides. You get both white and dark meat and I order fried Yucca and black beans & rice. The chicken has so much flavor from the charcoal. The Yucca was perfectly fried fresh, and the black beans and rice were satisfying. It is a little pricey about $27 with fountain drink and a 15% tip (in my opinion they should not ask with their point of sale system when it is not a full service restaurant). This is the reason why they got a 3 star instead of 4 stars. This reminds me of Peruvian style rotisserie chicken that I use to eat when I lived in Washington DC area. Here, they are branded as Latin American Charcoal Chicken. This not a full service restaurant. You order at the counter and pick up at the order at the other end. They have a small but adequate dining room. I wonder how they are during a lunch and dinner rush. I will soon see.
