Definitely the best place in Mobile to get a drink. They have the best drink menu and great friendly staff. Bourbon selection is great and pricing is not crazy. They also have very good food hidden in the back. read more

Fantastic Drinks! An old fashioned done right. The bar staff were very and attentive, as well.

We stopped by The Haberdasher for drinks before going to dinner at another nearby restaurant. This place is a craft cocktail experience. From the moment you step inside, you know you're in expert hands of an expert drink maker The drinks are nothing short of exceptional. Each cocktail was meticulously crafted, balancing bold flavors with subtle notes and came out looking as great as they tasted. Whether you're into the classics or craving something more adventurous, the bartenders nailed it every time. The knowledge and passion of the staff made the atmosphere great, almost to the point of staying for dinner. These are mixologists not just folks behind a bar mixing drinks. They asked our preferences and then tailored drinks specifically for you. It's like your own little personalized tasting experience. The ambiance is intimate and stylish, the kind of place you can hang out in for hours. Whether you're a cocktail connoisseur or just someone who appreciates great drinks, The Haberdasher delivers and should be your spot. read more

Wonderful ambience and delicious drinks. Will be back very soon with friends to celebrate a promotion.

Me and four friends went to the Haberdasher on a Monday at 4. I'm glad that we got there when we did because the space got busy quickly. After eating, I understood why. I was a little confused at first since there's no servers. You go up to the bar to order drinks and to the kitchen window to order food. It was a different experience but I enjoyed it because it means you don't have to wait for a server. I ordered the Fried Oyster Mushrooms and the Shrimp Gochujang. My friends shared the KFC, the Mushroom pasta, and Parmesan Truffle Fries with me. Everything was so delicious. I'm now obsessed with the Fried Oyster Mushrooms and have to force myself not to order every day. The same with the Truffle Fries. I loved the ambiance. It's a chill and inviting space. Perfect for a night out or a quick cocktail after work before heading home. read more

Great drink selection! Moody with interesting decor, order from the counter and find a seat (if you can!). A few 0% ABV options for those that need it. Bartender was nice but not talkative/friendly. Nicely decorated for Christmas in December! read more

High energy bar, with great customer service. It's gives a try bar feel and look. Booth and bar seating. We sat at the bar and we had Zack and Dalton both very nice and attentive. FYI... at the bar, they need a card to hold. We had fish and tots, fried shrimp, and a large Ceasar salad. Everything was cool. I had a pineapple mule...it was good, maybe a drop less pineapple juice and a splash more ginger beer. read more

This is an interesting cocktail bar and it has a great atmosphere inside. They have very nice cocktails and a decent beer selection, but they definitely seemed understaffed when we visited back in May as tables were not cleaned and they had a difficulty time keeping up with the crowd (and it was why we didn't end up getting any food). They definitely need more staff, but it's still a nice place to grab a drink. read more

Our team at work went to The Haberdasher for drinks and some food. I had never been to The Haberdasher but I've heard it was good. Since I'm not much drinker I was there solely for the food. Our team a bunch of appetizers and I tried to try them all. There also was first thing that I tried was the French fries. I enjoyed them. They came with a mayo sauce. Not a big mayo on fries fan but it worked. I then tried the Brussels sprouts. Not sure what they were seasoned with but they tasted pretty good. Next was the chicken tenders. I dipped them in what seemed like a chili sauce. It had a lot of spice but it tasted good. The mahi mahi slider was next. It was my favorite appetizer. It was cooked to perfection and the sauce on the slider was very tasty. After that was the fish part of the fish and chips. I think the fish was cod. I was impressed by it. It wasn't better than the mahi mahi but it was good. The last thing I tried were the avocado fries. I really like them. To be honest if I wasn't full from the other food I would've eaten more of the avocado fries. read more

I'm hesitant to say it out of selfishness, but in addition to being the best bar and having the coolest name, there is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The absolute best fish and chips in Mobile and the steaks are second to none. If you haven't dined at the Hanerdasher you are missing out! read more

Date night with my ole lady. We were long overdue. Great conversation. Even allowed the two girls to hit on my wife in front of me. LoL They sat at the table next to me and bought us some drinks just so they could talk to her. Crazy cool couple. Drinks were pretty good. Not exactly what I was expecting but also not a bad drink. Something different promoting discussion about the flavors. Mezcal is an acquired taste. They use it well here. Chow read more

One my favorite places to eat in Mobile! Flavor, ambience, and consistency. They also change their menu from time to time to keep things fun. Avocado fries are a near perfect appetizer. Smash burger is a must try and the food comes soon after you order. Service is great, they know what they're doing. Go on a date, with friends, or by yourself. read more

The food was good, but it was really loud in there & hard to communicate. If you like bars, this place has got it going on. We sat outside after we got our food, it was nice. Overall, not a bad place at all. But if you're going just for dinner, probably not the place for you. read more

WOW. This place absolutely floored me. I came in for fish & chips, and as I saw a steak coming out of the kitchen I quickly swapped my order to the NY Strip. This was hands down the best steak I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. I paired it with their "Jerk Store" cocktail. It was just perfect. I will drive from home (3 hours west) just to get this again. read more

Unfortunately this place was a big fail: 1.Order at counter for food but with fine dining prices. 2. Duck was cold and small, $27 no sides at all just a sliver of duck. 3. My coworker didn't finish his dish and chips, was just meh. 4. Has to order drinks at bar, self serve water 5. Had to go back to counter to pick up cold food. 6. Positives, vibe is sort of cool. 7. This space is easily fixable could be very cool, needs wait staff, food needs refinement, take down the hardy cheap gold holiday dollar store curtains in front. 8. Cocktails are decent, unique read more

Great service. Superb Bourbon list. Excellent drink menu and always changing craft beer selections on draft. Food is also really good for a bar. It's not typical fried bar food. read more

The food was pretty good, tenders really crispy, lots of sauce on the fries. It was poppin on a Friday night, tough to get a table. Hopefully you get a booth, we had to sit at a high top which was odd and in the middle of the line for the bar. The bar itself was quite the display. Great location right down town could walk from our hotel and next to the park for an after dinner walk. Drink selection was great. Pretty fancy drinks! read more

Popped in for a quick bite after a long day. The set up is a bit odd. You go to the kitchen window and place your order and pay for your food. Then you go to the bar and place your drink order and pay. We then sat. I had a blueberry martini that was yummy. However, my hot chicken sandwich was another story. The sandwich was too spicy to enjoy (I like spicy food but this was uncomfortably spicy). There was WAY too much sauce happening. The bread was soggy and falling apart because of all the sauce. My dinner companion had the same and had identical thoughts about the sandwich. It was ok but I don't have to eat here again. read more

I travel to Mobile for work a lot and a local buddy turned me on to this spot. Excellent cocktails, friendly atmosphere, bartenders that are happy to talk recipes and recommend other dining destinations with a tourist like me. I have been a few times now, and will certainly be back! As for "bar food" - this establishment puts that stereotype to shame. Great food, no bad options on the menu. I can see how it would be a great date spot, but I've just gone to socialize and it's been a good time. read more

The Haberdasher is such a neat place, y'all. One of the things I love the most about coming here is my ability to order an Old Fashioned drink several different ways from their extensive bar menu. My favorite one is the Island, made with rum, and it's so delicious. Their food is pretty dang good too! I ordered the Japanese chicken and fried avocado to eat. What's funny to me is the flavor of avocado when fried: it tastes like Fruit Loops cereal. Don't believe me? Give it a shot! It's very subtle but still oh-so deliciously good! They were SLAMMED this past weekend due to Christmas parties going on; so many folks wanted to gather here, whether it was before, during, or after a party. They do tend to stay pretty busy, but it took me two visits before I was able to find a seat to enjoy a drink and food. Come try them out! read more

Was recommend this bar by another. Came in on a Wed after 10pm. Stood at the bar for several minutes with no service so I left. Came back the next day. Ordered a ctr-alt-delete. Drink was great. While the Mobile, Alabama I decided to try this uniquebar and grill. The bar has a huge selection of whiskeys. I had an old-fashioned with Buffalo trace. The bartender mixed it perfectly and was very friendly. This place was crowded but manageable. They don't have any servers so you have to order your food, pay and wait for them to text you. Same thing with the drinks. The environment was a little loud, but understandable since it was about 5 PM. So I'm sure it was the meeting place for everybody after work. I had the beer battered chicken tenders, which were spot on. I would recommend this place as a good place to go And unwind with your friends to drink, eat and laugh. read more
