Great food, great drinks, good music, and always friendly service. They have a full bar with a variety of beer, wines, liquors, and daily drink specials. The food menu has everything from Irish classics to chicken tenders and fries. I go here quite often, whether it's for food with the family (no kids allowed after 10pm!!) or to have dinner and/or drinks with friends. It's the best hangout spot in Saraland. No smoking indoors (which is great to me because I hate smoke) but they have a spot out back with tables and cornhole boards for those who do smoke. So went here 3 times first time was amazing food was fresh service was out standing! Second time I got a to go order, got home opens it up had less then 10 fries and it looked like who ever put my burger in the to go box fast balled it from across the street! The third and final time I went in one night it was rather slow.. I sat at the bar got a menu told the gal behind the bar what I wanted and waited... 15 turned into 20 that turned into 30 min. The whole time the girl behind the bar never asked me if I'd like a refill and sat and complain about how she has to close tonight. I finally left and told the girl to cancel my food but I'm willing to bet she never put it in! Bad staff to busy playing on there phones or talking to friends! Lucky's is one of my favorite pub food places. I generally dine off the appetizer menu since the Rueben rolls are my favorite. My mom and I visited during the week for lunch. We were seated and served immediately. The food didn't taste as well as the last time I went but I also know businesses are getting back into the swing of things after the Pandemic. They do have a maximum amount of people that can be inside at all times so be sure to pay attention to the signage on the door. read more

MIRANDA was the bartender in charge. WHY is she in charge? I have no idea, because she has no idea how to act in case of emergency.. She is in charge of the entire bar for some reason, she never contacted security or anyone of authority. I came up to her to warn her about a man who was having a lingering stares. I came up to her when I noticed him staring.. she excused his behavior because her "husband" invited him , sure enough.. He came up to me & put his hands around me. I reported the incident & she did nothing. My 3 girlfriends & I were uncomfortable, we voiced that to her. She did NOTHING. Food is good but if you're a women, stay home. The female bartenders like to see others taken advantage of. If your Miranda boss & you see this, (watch the security tapes) & if you don't care because you've been getting away with this behavior for so long, just wait. I don't believe in karma but that bitch WILL get you. Fire her while you have the chance before you have a tape case on your hands because she DID NOTHING. I popped into Luckys about 1:15 on a Wednesday for lunch. It's a great place to go when you want a good burger AND a beer at lunch. My son had the Reuben and chips, which he described as the best he's had in a while. I had the Lucky burger without the bun and a side salad. Of course we sipped our beer while the food was cooked fresh but quickly. Everything was great. The salad was crisp and fresh. The service was outstanding. Beer was soooo cold. read more

I had wings sweet heat and other orders were chick on a stick, Bama burger, and a Ruben. The sidewinder fries were really good and we got side orders of cheese dips. The fries dipped in the cheese dip were very complimentary. Everyone said their food was good. Server was attentive and friendly. She checked on us regularly and kept the drinks flowing. Lunch after church today with friends and it was so good! Since I've been on a weight loss journey I asked for my Patty Melt with no bread. Townsley, our sweet server said, "No problem." The pub chips are TO DIE FOR! Perfect thickness of a wavy fresh chip, perfectly fried and seasoned well. Everyone enjoyed their choices of the Lucky Burger & the Lucky Dog. Saraland residents I think were super excited when this place opened up, and for good reason. The one in mobile has been a favorite bar and restaurant for awhile. This location is different while maintaining some of the Irish charm of its older forefather. It's a good sized joint with ample parking and is very clean. The restaurant sports several large televisions and would be ideal for large groups wanting to watch a game. The bar stools are comfortable and the prices very reasonable, 2-3 dollar domestics, and the food is pretty fair for that "sports bar" environment, and they serve till 2am both food and beverage! The wait staff is friendly and attentive while not being all over you. The wings are a can't miss, large in size, full of flavor and on Saturdays for college football they are .49! The nachos are homemade chips with tomatoes, jalapeños, sauce and cheese and were ok without being too heavy. The cheese chunks which I mistook for curds were liked by some but not all. The burgers are huge, well cooked and on a bun that I'm a huge fan of! That all being said I have a major problem with this joint, my father is in a wheel chair and they have two tables in the whole place that aren't high tops and stools. There would be no where for someone like him or an elderly guest to be comfortable. I am someone who notices those things and really thing it would be a great idea to have a couple of more. They have a dog friendly patio which is also helpful but only 8 seats for those who need somewhere with a chair that has a back. The food, atmosphere, staff, all par or better but the lack of seating options makes it hard for just anyone to join you there. read more

I've eaten here a few times now. The food and service is always good. It's mainly a bar and can get quite loud for a sit down meal. However they are pretty quick on the take out orders. As far as bars go it has a great atmosphere... a "My Place" kind of bar. They do have music at times. Two downers to the place are the driveway is tough to get in and out of especially if traffic is thick. And secondly is their parking lot is VERY small. We had to park in a hotel parking lot quite a ways away and walk over on a couple of visits. read more

It was hard to find a place open on Monday night so I sort of tried by default and was glad I did. It is a big long bar with tables and outdoor dining also. Being an Irish bar had to start with a Guinness. Good size Guinness at a very good price but a little bit of work is needed on the proper way to draw a Guinness. Started with the soup of the day which was actually a black bean. Chili which was excellent. It was rich and creamy and I actually wished I had ordered the bowl. For dinner I had the lucky wrap. Which is essentially a burger in a wrap. It was good but not sure I would order again as the wrap had every very thing in it, which were lettuce tomatoes, cheddar,pub mustard and pickles well distributed. The pickles were crunchy and were a little strange distributed throughout the sandwich. It was a nice size wrap that was toasted probably in a panini pan. The side was something called sidewinders with are sort of partial spiraled potatoes. Which were really good. All in all an enjoyable meal a very active bar and food that was very good. A good menu and very reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again when in the area. One thing is they do add a surcharge to credit card transactions. 3.5%. Ido not know if it was on the menu but it is very visibly typed on the bill so you can not miss it like some other restaurants do. read more
