Finally made it here for a quick beer and some wings. Got here just before noon and it was busy. Not packed but this is clearly a popular spot. Wings are clearly their thing and all orders come with a side of curly fries. We got the peanut butter and jelly wings. Don't come here late! We came here on Saturday a hour before closing. We ordered wings what they are known for. They have naked wingS but really sauced with mild first. Then can add the sauce flavor you want. Wait what! Then we asked for Buffalo hot but got naked wingS but not naked bc it has mild. Then we got a hamburger. When I first visited Baumhowers Victory Grille a few years ago I was super impressed with the service I got from Heather who was an amazing server that provided me with 5 star service on par with what I'm used to at the best restaurants in New Orleans. When I visited after that fantastic experience the service of the other staff I experienced tanked to a consistent awful level! I have found you can usually get faster and better service at the bar in places like this and while I did get faster service it tanked to even deeper levels of awful! I ordered the Geaux Fish which came with shrimp etouffee on top but instead I got served the Caribbean Grilled Fish which didn't have etouffee on top so I was served a totally different dish than I ordered. When I asked the bartender about it she just said "oh that's too bad I'm sorry about that" which isn't the typical customer service experience I've had at most other places! To add insult to injury the bartenders then took forever to bring my check to me. After taking a very long break from Baumhowers I returned to get a burger as they did have good burgers here from my past experience. The bar service was improved but still very slow. I finally got my burger and it was alright but not as good as it had been during past visits. They do offer a nice military discount here and the happy hour is quite popular and that is probably the main thing to do here these days as at least the beer still tastes like beer and you tend to get the beer you order at least. I'm sad to see the ongoing decline of this place as it had started out so nice but now I mostly would just consider drinking beer at happy hour here as the decline in the food and service has really turned me off to eating here. If my first visits didn't have such amazing service and good food this place would just be getting ONE star which currently in my experience they average a ONE star but I hope they get back to being better... read more

Sat at the bar for an hour waiting for the bartender to take our order. She gave us drink and menus and never came back. Totally ignored us while she flirted with a bunch of older men that I assume are regulars. Their language was disgraceful especially since there were families and children around. I wanted some wings while we were here for spring break and this place came up on Yelp. We arrived here the vibe was cool. We sat outside on the patio, they also have games to play while you wait. I started with the bang bang shrimp it was great. The shrimp was fried perfectly and it already comes with a side of ranch. I hated the sauce wasn't covering the entire shrimp but at the same time I wouldn't want soggy shrimp. I ended up ordering the traditional Carolina bbq wings and Ragin Cajun. I loved the ragin cajun flavor seasoned just right. I also ordered the Char boiled chicken with Bam sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Those mushroom gravy potatoes were phenomenal. I love baumhowers , especially their hamburgers and their french fries. The service has always been on point and we are usually sat pretty quickly. I've never had any bad service at all. The decor in the restaurant is pretty much like any other restaurants with the booth and tables. I do love eating there though. A rainy day brought us off the beach and to the outlet mall and by the end we need sustenance! Luckily this little bar and grill is right there. We enjoyed some cocktails and apps and dang, they were solid. Our waitress was an absolute doll. As far as the food - the onion strings were 10/10. The chicken nacho things were just meh. The kids loved the spicy fried shrimp but I couldn't try them because they were too spicy for me. Hamburger tasted like one of those frozen patties you get at the ballpark concession stands. The meat was thin and almost tasteless. We chose Garlic Parmesan for the wing sauce. We voiced to the manager that we did not like the hamburger. She pointed out that we got the Tailgate, which was their smallest hamburger. I got 10 traditional wings, bbq sauce with a 911 heat. Again very good. For a side I got the curly fries with the blanco queso and bacon. Nice flavor. What everything had in common was they were all room temp at best. Long story short, sloooow service. I liked the place. Definitely a great wing spot but with more than just wings. The lunch menu was great and had lots of options. Our server took great care of us. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Baumhower's Victory Grille is a sports-themed restaurant chain that was founded in Alabama. The Foley location, which opened in December 2023, is their newest addition. It's in the Tanger Outlet complex in Foley, and a nice spot for sports enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Their menu offers a wide range of tasty options, including their famous buffalo-style chicken wings, naan, nice appetizers, salads, sandwiches, bowls, lots of meat choices, signature cocktails, beer by the pitchers, desserts, and much more. I do however take issue with the fish or "whitefish" being the dreaded Swai, bassa, or whatever disguise name that's given. It's an very cheap Asian farmed fish that I will never eat, because I know too much about the sourcing. Only fresh fish when you're on the Gulf of Mexico please, costs you a star.  Okay moving on, I have been here a couple times and most recently with my Friends & Neighbors Friday group, twenty of us. The service was good but it was pretty noisy. On to the food, they have pretty good chips with salsa and queso, the Bam-Bam Shrimp App is Thai Sweet Chili sauce, scratch-made buttermilk ranch and is a not bad at all. Then #1 son was apparently hangry because he ordered the Victory Burger. That sandwich is a double stacked monster that's a full pound of meat, applewood-smoked bacon, American and Monterey jack cheeses, scratch-made blanco cheese, LTOP, on an onion bun, and if that wasn't enough calories he added a big helping of Mac n Cheese! Kids, right? LOLOL My honey got the Hamburger Steak, that's a 1/2 pound grind, garlic mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, green beans and garlic bread, and you can make it a pound, sheesh :-0 Then  I jumped on the Bam Bam Chicken, a fried chicken breast with sweet Thai Chili sauce, served with wild rice, and sweet potato fries which was okay, but chicken a bit dry. For dessert I shared something with #1 son, Fried Banana Pudding, yep this was a first, was indeed delicious 'nana pudding, wrapped in pastry and deep fried and topped with powdered sugar, whipped cream, caramel and crumbled vanilla wafers, interesting and good.  Bottom line: The staff are friendly, our server Armani was terrific, the food is reasonably priced and with 60 TVs and a lively atmosphere, it's a great place to catch a game, grab a drink, and enjoy some tasty food. Service good. They seem to be in a hiring process as multiple people were being trained!!! That's a great thing! Wings were mediocre. I had two flavors on a 10 piece order. Unfortunately they were all in the same basket and so the sauces all ran together to make a muddled mess. That's on me. I should've asked for separate plating. Give them a shot.
