Having experienced some 15 or so Whataburgers in my lifetime, I would say that this has the best service. They also delivered my chicken strips in under 2 minutes. Typically it's some 5-10 mjnute wait. I just moved to the area, and haven't been in the 2AM taquito mood yet. Will update on overnight breakfast at my first wild night...they always include a trip to The What. read more

Lady bug in Salad. Visited Whataburger at Palmer lane, Austin. Took one Salad and finished most of them before I found a lady bug in it, they initially told that it's part of lettuce, but then I took it out and called upon Manager after then they apologized and promised to revert back the bill. But what they did is to add one more entry in my card with $0.00. read more

Went after 11 at night. Ive gotten Carol, at the drive through twice now, and you cant ask for better service or a more polite, and happy person. excellent food sales, and fast service. food was super nomzzz. Best fast food service in the austin area hands down. read more

Went through drive through and the cashier was so incompetent. He acted annoyed as soon as we got there. It was a short line and we purposely made it an easy order. He refused to read the order back to us and a result I was charged for fries that I never got and all the burgers were made wrong. We asked for a number 14 chicken bites and received chicken tenders. Even when using order numbers and specifying what it was he wasn't able to do a simple thing. I asked for no pickles no mustered and got both of those. If it was just one issue, it would have been fine, but the combination of terrible service and not getting what we ordered and paid for is unacceptable. I made this order on November 8th at 12:07:59. My order number was 518651. I'd say who the cashier was but I didn't receive a receipt and his name is not on the order ticket. I hate to sound like a Karen but I work in food service and know that there was no excuse for this level of incompetence. read more

Whataburger - Burgers Near Me - Austin, Texas

Yes, this restaurant hamburger chain is one of America's Regional Favorites. According to several poll's, Whataburger is getting rave reviews for being Awesome and better than the Big's! Damn! I grew up on these burgers. I'm so Texas proud that they are doing well. They are still my favorite hamburger if I'm not being a snob and seeking a gourmet burger. Two thumbs up as always. read more

Worst Whataburger ever. Burger was cold and had a vat of mustard on it. Chicken sandwich tasted like cardboard with weird sauce. Did Drive thru had to go back to get the fries we ordered but didn't get. Pretty sure we got overcharged and never got a receipt. Don't go here. read more

This whataburger has the worst customer service. I always fight people when they say Whataburger isn't the best but I guess they've just been going to Whataburger on Parmer. From the miserable cashier to the rude manager. Worst experience in customer service, Tammy, which is funny because I just left a concert sponsored by Whataburger - this restaurant on Parmer makes them look bad. read more

Dear white knight of the fast food world to drunks. This one gets 5 stars because their dining room is open late, the areas demographics make it less scurry, you can walk here from Woodrow's and I saw some kids eat here after prom. Homegirl's dad was their limo driver. You can't make this stuff up people. read more

Came here one morning for a quick breakfast for my kids and hubby. Worst idea ever. Ordered jalapeño biscuit, pancakes and a breakfast with eggs and sausage and biscuit. Got to the window and the kid said "it will take a couple minutes for the pancakes, can you please MOVE and wait" I said "ok" Waited 4 minutes, that turned to 6, that turned to 8, finally at 10minutes I got out of the car and went inside. Half the crew was not doing anything. No one could come out and say it would be longer?? The girl in charge gave me the worst attitude when I asked how much longer. She said "I don't know," really?? That's your answer? The kid came around the corner with my food. By that time I didn't even want to continue a conversation with her. I grabbed my food and left. Of course there was no jalapeño biscuit and the pancakes were over cooked. read more

the drive through refused to take my order tonight around 1am, called today the manager said they would try to fix the issue

Even if you have no other options I am not sure why you would subject yourself to Whataburger. Unless you absolutely must have a burger fix I would not recommend this place to anyone. Pretty much the only circumstance I would eat here would be late at night after 2AM when nothing else good is open in North Austin for burgers. read more

First time I went to one downtown I waited 25 minutes in the drive through. They forgot the meat on my burger... I was pretty upset but I decided to give them a second try. This time it took about 10 minutes and my burger was cold. I wouldn't even go back if it was free. read more

Late night eats at it's best! Good quick service, order is always correct AND the staff at the drive thru can handle a good laugh.

They got my order wrong today. I asked for no mustard and they gave me mustard... lots of it. So why the 5 stars? They fixed it quickly and with a smile on top. Besides, the burger was fantastic. I've been to this location several times this year and they're consistently fast and friendly. read more

Consistently good food and great, professional service.

Fast food doesn't always have fresh food but it can make you full. This whataburger gets the job done with fresh food and delicious burgers. Other whataburgers can't compare this is the best one in Austin no doubt! read more

All Whataburgers are NOT created equal, this spot is always fast, friendly and fresh. I've never got Luke warm fries or a burger that tasted like it sat under a light for 10 min....OHHH whataburger how I love to hate thee!! read more

Came here to get a late night snack since I work night-shifts near by, I thought this was suppose to be a great chain, I was severely disappointed. Lets just say, my stomach did not agree in the slightest and the grease was so heavy I couldn't even finish the burger. read more

Oh honey butter chicken biscuit I can't stop dreaming of you! You truly have earned your "liquid gold" honey butter reputation - so buttery and honey-y! I have to admit it is probably a good thing you are not nearby! read more

Pretty good for fast food burger, cheap better than mc donald.

I've been coming to this location for YEARS and thus became pretty familiar with some of the faces at this location. But the one who takes the cake is the young man named Jose. Always polite, always quick, and always humble. Last time I came here, I used the drive thru. And I was extremely surprised to see him out there running orders like the rest of his team, not many in leadership positions would, ESPECIALLY in this heat. Just had to leave a kudos for the young man, he referred me to the survey on the receipt but I decided to make a public note too. read more

Great customer service, but horrible lines at drive-thru because they don't staff both drive-thru windows. Can't count how many times I drove into the parking lot only to do a 180 when I saw how many cars were in line. read more

What a burger is the best in the business. Did you know each ketchup packet is mysteriously numbered and there's a secret menu

One of the best locations I've been to. Consistently friendly and fast service, and the food is always incredible. Always juicy burgers, warm, soft buns, never made a mistake in the order, crispy, hot fries, just hit the nail on every head. This is fast food that, if you weren't told, you wouldn't believe was fast food. Their burgers are better quality than many sit down restaurants I've been to. A+++ for this location too. read more

I find all Whataburgers to be hit or miss. I grew up in Texas and I just don't get the obsession with the food here. If it's hot and fresh, it's pretty tasty but when you come at 3 am and you don't have the freshest food of your life, I get it. However, I came here at 7 pm and got the worst, soggiest, grossest food I've had from a Whataburger in a long time. These fries were so old that I could barely chew them. I asked for extra lettuce and got literally 10 pieces on my burger. I ask for toasted and it was practically burned. I gave them 1 star for the lovely girl that took our order. She was very polite. As for the food, it gets NO stars. Unfortunately my husband loves Whataburger (he would eat a shoe if I covered it in the spicy ketchup) and this one is the closest to where I live but ugh. I could never eat here again and be totally happy. read more

Vanessa the manager at the location is extremely great asset to the business. Had a issues with my first order yesterday and she said she would take care of it next time I came by and she did. She held her self accountable and to the highest customer service. Whatabuger needs to give this manager a raise and acknowledge her on doing a fantastic job. Thank you miss Vanessa David the manager of whatabuger! read more

I ask for a manager he shows up and starts to correct me way before I finish telling him what was wrong I literally had to tell him to shut up n let me tell him what was wrong... just for that they lost a loyal customer for this location I had never had a problem till today..... read more

No line, 930 pm. Fries, room temp. Chin strip bbq sandwich? Cheese not even melted. Chicken cold af... highly disappointed

another store made some mistakes on my order, i spoke to the manager on that location who offered to give me a free burger for the inconvenience. couple days later instead of going back to that store, i went to the closest store to me, this Whataburger. i explained the situation and the manager at this location ( Emily ) not only gave me a free burger but acted professionally and did it with a smile. this will be the only Whataburger that gets my business from now on. read more

The people here were great, really made an experience compared to other chain restaurants.

I know it when I see a good burger and that would be whataburger. The best burger in town fast servicce and a good resturant. Try the breakfast taco for more deliciousness. read more

Bad Whataburger location, was driving through and was sent to their lane B. Lane A had at least 4-5 new drivers pass me as the order in front took forever to get correct. Bad management, would not go again. Tell your friends. FYI I'm an impatient asshole read more

Don't go through the drive thru. You will wish you went to McDonald's instead. I was in line for about 20 minutes after placing my order. Never again. read more

This review is not about the food. Today at lunch time I encountered the rudest drivethru worker ever. I had to drive away because of her bad attitude I will not order from this Whataburger if they continue to employ awful people. read more
