I came to this Jack-in-the-Box at 4:40 PM on a Tuesday. I ordered the Simpson treehouse of horror. Munchie Mill and a number takes jumbo jack with cheese. I ordered curly fries and they gave me regular fries and then they didn't have any drinks. They were out of every single thing no fountain drinks no no punch. The only thing they had was unsweet tea, bottled water and bottled orange juice. How can I store that's supposed to be open for business be out of every single thing how can they not order and stock up? Very poor expectations will never go to this Jack in the Box again they need to figure something out. read more

We came to Jack in the Box around 3 AM because it was one of the only places open. There were 5 of us, and we spent about $65 on food. We all ordered meals and paid extra to upgrade to curly fries. I asked for buttermilk ranch and they only gave me two. When I explained that there were 5 of us and asked for more, I was told they had to charge me because "corporate was watching them." I DID pay for the extra ranch--it wasn't about the money. It was the service, the attitude, and honestly the reasoning just sucked. I guess corporate would rather have a customer leave unhappy after spending $65 than give out a few extra buttermilk ranches. ‍ They were also extremely busy, the lobby was dirty, and the curly fry portions were much smaller than what we're used to getting, even though we paid extra for the upgrade. At 3 AM, we weren't expecting anything fancy--we just wanted our food and decent service. Definitely a disappointing experience, and we won't be coming back to this location. read more

Jack in the Box - Breakfast was trash, cold and soggy. - Fast Food Near Me - Austin, Texas

Many years ago, the chicken supreme was my favorite sandwich. Losing it left a hole in my life and hearing that it was back, I rushed to the local JITB to grab a few. This should have been a great idea! And they almost got it right. The multigrain bun, lettuce, tomato, and sauce are perfect, and the 2 slices of cheese (1 swiss, 1 american) are almost like I remember. Only the horrible fake chicken patty lets it down. In 2002, the real sandwich had a wonderful, juicy chicken patty made with breast and thigh meat. 24 years later, I still remember exactly how it tasted. This sandwich today is disappointingly short of that. The patty has no discernable chicken flavor, it just tastes like cardboard. It really lets the side down. With no real chicken in sight, this just isn't much of a sandwich. It's hard to believe just how badly JITB blew it here. read more

Pretty good burgers with pretty good service! I had put in an online order and was able to pick my food up immediately when I got to the restaurant. The burger itself was filling and had a lot of sauce which I love. But idk about how jumbo it was considering it was called the jumbo jack cheeseburger. read more

No stars if I can help it. One of the WORST places ever. $40 for 2 bowls and 2 drinks. Cannot make drinks according to order. Cannot greet customers when they arrive having them wait up front for 15-20 mins staring at the counter while everyone looks busy when there is on one around. WORST!!! Please close down already !!! read more

The employees are too incompetent to even place the correct order. No ordering via drive through and they force you to pull around and wait (this was a $7 order, not a large one) read more

I ordered a chicken sandwich combo and a couple orders of 2 tacos. I received my drink and tacos. I got home to discover that I had only taken home the tacos and a drink. When I called the manager on 12/27 at 10:45 pm said that I drove off with out my sandwich. I said I was given my bag and card back and I said have a good night. It behooves me that she said it's my fault and that I drove off. Manager said I had to come back to get a refund??? I've worked in bars and restaurants you can absolutely refund the portion forgotten. I told her the check number and total amount. Dumb, rude, and incompetent woman. read more

The service here is terrible, I came here for a quick lunch and I used the drive thru. Big mistake because bye the time I got my food my lunch break was over. The bad thing about all of this the location was not busy at all. No cars in the parking lot, there was o ly 3 cars ahead of me. This is not acceptable on any level. I should have e read the reviews. read more

I already filed a formal complaint about my experience here, and I still haven't received my refund. More than anything, I'm just confused -- because I've never experienced a place with no customer service at all. It can't even be called "bad service," because it simply didn't exist. I've had minor issues here before, but nothing close to this. To avoid rude treatment I'd seen inside before, I ordered online and went through the drive-thru for what should've been a quick pickup. I waited several minutes for someone to speak through the speaker, but nothing. Since it was just a pickup, I pulled ahead -- then got stuck behind cars for nearly an hour with no way to leave. By the time I finally reached the window, an employee took my name, then shut the window and disappeared. At that point, my entire break was gone. I eventually parked, went inside, and politely asked to cancel my order and get a refund since my break was over and I still hadn't eaten all day. They hadn't even started my order. So, at that point: 1. My break was over, 2. I couldn't get a refund, and 3. I never received any food. When I asked again, the woman helping me smirked like she found it funny, said "we don't deal with that," and told me to call customer service. When I asked for the number, she said she didn't know because "that's not my department." The manager just stood there and did nothing. Later I found a review from February describing almost the same situation -- someone else also lost their break waiting in the drive-thru. That tells me this isn't new or surprising to them. The staff acted like this was totally acceptable. I honestly left in disbelief. What's worse is that there's no way to get a refund in-store; you have to file a complaint and wait for corporate to respond. It really shows how little this location values customers. Maybe it's a franchise owner issue or maybe corporate is just hands-off, but either way, it's unreal that a business can operate like this with zero accountability or care. read more

Around 3am they'll say they're not doing orders or system down. They just said they could only take one person at a time. It's Saturday morning, I am actually very disappointed and worried for the young lady you all had working there around 4am/5am . She didn't speak any English and looked so stressed out, every car had to honk and then go to the window to take the order . Luckily some people know Spanish but i could tell most of her customers tonight did not. Why would you have someone working such a hard shift ALONE and doesn't know English ????? That isn't ok at all . Also my food was cold and had no condiments, my drink was wrong but she didn't understand what the Dr Pepper cream drink even was . I really want my money back :/ read more

Extremely unprofessional. I was looking forward to sitting down and chowing down on an Ultimate Cheeseburger. So I walked inside and the first thing that hit me was the smell of pot. Now, I'm fine with people getting high at work. Especially at a fast food place. Hell, I used to get faded with my coworkers in the back of the fast food place I used to work at back in the day. It's mostly just bored kids working there anyway. My problem is that I waited at the front counter for several minutes and not one person greeted me, much less took my order. All the while the smell is just overwhelming. Hence this review. My bar for service regarding fast food is extremely low, and they couldn't even clear that. read more

Will not be returning here again. I'm usually a n the neighborhood every Tuesday. I came last week I ordered double patty no bun mustard and cheese only cut in half. I received it. No mustard so very dry and not cut in half. I called and explained what happened to Ariela (manager). She said no problem just come back in and we'll remake it. So I came back in today (Tuesday) ordered a burger the way it comes cut in half and a med frie. I think I had to repeat myself 3 times. Got to the window told ariela that I spoke to you last week on the phone that it's a remake. Showed her the receipt. She says "oh no it wasn't me you spoke to" I said yes it was. She said no it wasn't it was the GM. I know it was you I spoke with. Then she shuts the window door. GM comes to the window. Very rude. "So what do you want on your sandwich?! I told her the way it comes. She proceeds on saying oh just mustard? No I tell her, the way it comes. Mayo and ketchup she asks? I said yes, the way it comes! She says ok park in lot 1 and I'll bring it out. Here she comes, (GM). Gives me the burger and I said can you hold on and let me check the food while you're here? She says yeah go ahead. With an attitude. Burger had no ketchup or mayo. Only mustard. She says well this sandwich doesn't come with mayo and ketchup. Sandwich wasn't cut. And I didn't receive my fries. She went back in to get my fries. She at first said that I didn't ask for my sandwich to be cut In Half and I didn't ask for fries. She handed me the fries then says it seems like you like to complain. No I don't, it just seems that y'all can't get the order right. She walks away shaking her head like I'm the one that did something wrong. I told her I won't be coming back. She says that's fine have a nice day. My take on this is, they won't continue on getting orders wrong if the GM also wore a headset. Now I'm wondering if the cook does. read more

I have been back twice and the tacos were hot and fresh, service was really good too.

I got the medium combo and paid over $11.00 for it.. never again! This is a joke of a burger for the price you pay. The size of the burger is for a child. Not to mention, the Swiss cheese tasted nasty! My fries had pieces of plastic paper, as if they were playing with a plastic bag around the area and dropped some. Most drinks were out for some reason and when I got what they had available, the soda tasted nasty.. it didn't taste like sprite but carbonation water... I don't recommend coming going to Jack for any burger or at all. Just drive down the street for other options. read more

JITB is a decent fast-food burger place. Plenty of options for the non-discriminating diner. 3-stars because that's the most any fast food chain can possibly get. It's fast. It's food. What more do you want? The fountain drinks are the new cassette style millions-of-possibilities that no one actually uses more than once. Hence your favorite drink tastes a bit off from a more traditional style syrup option. JITB chicken and beef burgers are good step above the tasteless cardboard versions you get from McDonald's, but not likely much more nutritious. They're curly fries are a must. Their desserts are not very good -- likely due to all the preservatives. For fast food, JITB is definitely a better option that other fast food restaurants. Still, only an option if you don't have the time to sit down in a more traditional restaurant. Really, considering the price to quality there's no point going here. You'll pay the same price going to Chuy's and get an amazing meal too. So don't bother, just go to Chuy's (again, unless you just don't have the time). read more

Decent fast food. People are usually very nice in the drive thru and I've never tried their burgers but the tacos (although not better than Taco Bell) and teriyaki chicken is usually my go to for a late night snack. My goodness, this JIB is a major, disgusting dump. It smells so bad when you walk in and when you get to the bathroom it literally smells like sewage. My family loves Jack and always has but this one is just plain foul. Not to mention the workers are rude and impatient. The stupid touch screen soda machine is typically always broken or out of everything and when you ask the employees to fill or refill your drink, you'd think you just stole their souls. They literally pace back and forth and stare at us while speaking to each other. They do not ever come out and check the lids, straws, or napkins, or clean that area, nor do they clean the lobby or wipe down tables. I hate this location with a passion but unfortunately it's the only one near us. If the Jack headquarters cared one ounce for their customers they'd do some serious work at this location. read more

The Hispanic dude with tattoos that works at the drive thru is a chump. I guess he doesn't like his job because when I tried to make 2 orders which I did the night before he said one order per car when i asked why he said because it gets busy therefore I had to go around twice which took longer. They will do anything they can to get cars to leave whether it's say they don't have something or have you wait at the intercom for 10 minutes while no one's in front to get cars behind to want to leave. Almost my entire order was wrong. None of the burgers had any condiments, and the curly fries were just old leftover bits.

It appears that if you aren't going through the drive through this late at night, then you really don't matter. I was craving a sourdough jack so I decided to stop in and realized there was nobody inside dining so it would be quick to get some food. NOT AT ALL!! Cars were lined up until the drive through about 8 cars deep and maybe that's because that is where they actually serve the customers. Nothing against Jack in the Box as a whole but at this location, this is a bit ridiculous. There wasn't even anyone at the front counter but you could hear someone taking orders at the drive through. Not something I'd ever expect from JITB but I'll have second doubts coming to this location ever again. read more

Visited this location twice. The food is good. Location is clean. The staff is awesome. I would like to mention the name "Daniella". She is was a very sweet, talkative, enthusiastic and lovely girl. My kids took some time in deciding what they wanted, but she was giving them options and took order from them. Then we accidentally dropped the drink which she cleaned while joking with kids and making them comfortable. She certainly deserves more than 5 stars. read more

While I understand the Whataburger concept of making food to order, this is not how Jack In the Crack has ever operated before right now, thus I don't understand the making-your-customers-age-angrily approach they've recently taken. I get that tomorrow's a holiday, but I shouldn't have to waste thirty whole minutes in a drive-thru lane. Even Whataburger, with their supposed freshly-made-food practices, doesn't ever make me wait this fucking long, and they make me wait a while.
