From Chicago, first time at PT's today. Here are some thoughts: -Has a 50's diner decor. Feels like a fast food place. You order at the counter and they call your number. But they make everything fresh. Took 10 minutes+ to get my order. Very busy, esp drive thru. -I ordered a burger combo. The burger patty was on the thinner side and it was delicious. The special sauce with mayo, pickles, and ketchup? Yes! -But the fries are the real secret. You get a big bag of fries. They are fresh cut, but not greasy. Delicious! Highly recommended!! read more

Just this past month I went to P Terry's for the first time. Yeah I know it's an institution that I should've been here before. Their menu is very simple, burgers, chicken, and fries. I opted to have the single burger with cheese, fries, and an iced tea. I went through the drive-through which are two lanes, and stopped at the window. You have to be careful because the outside drive-through lane they have people walking back-and-forth delivering food. In the lane closest to the building when you get to the window, you get blaring music. That was my only complaint. I'm not gonna say they're fast food because all three times I went. I had to wait for my food. But it did come out hot. The burgers are pretty much OK they're not the greatest but the real meat the cheese is always melted and the vegetables are fresh. Now the fries I noticed people complaining on reviews saying they're burnt. I absolutely loved mine. They were perfect. The best part is when you reheat them in the oven they get really crispy, which are my favorite. The pricing is extremely reasonable. I think the combo that I got was like eight dollars for a cheeseburger fries and a drink. I have come back here more times than I expected so I had to give them the four star rating read more

What I love about P. Terry's is that the food is quality, it doesn't break the bank, and I don't feel like crap after. This location is no different, but I have to shoutout the man with blonde hair who worked there Monday night (9/23)! He was so kind and asked me how my day was as I waited for my food. Very few people have asked me that at a drive-through. I honestly can't recall that happening even once. I love kind people! read more

My wife and I started going to P. Terry's earlier this year and we've loved going ever since. The burgers and fries are CHEAP which is saying something since the prices of anything right now are astronomical. But that doesn't mean the quality is bad. No no. The food is super good. Decor is cool too as it reminds me of a 50s - 60s looking restaurant. I'm always excited to try the new shake of the month and so far I haven't been disappointed by a flavor yet. The owners should fire half the lazy obnoxious staff and re-hire people who can actually speak English and are trained in customer service rather than trained in leaning all over the equipment and counters and BSing with each other, ignoring customers and rolling their eyes when you ask for a tray since you ordered your lunch for here and not takeout and you were just handed a bag of food to go. It's insane that there's seven women working here, yet it sounds like 15 of them for how loud and obnoxious they are, and collectively doing the work of probably three people. Came here recently after years due to a suggestion of a friend when we were looking for somewhere affordable to eat. Considering most places now have their food starting at $11-13 minimum, P Terrys is a welcome surprise for my wallet. Husband and I got a veggie burger, chicken burger, 2 fries, a milkshake, & banana bread - all for under $20! No issues with the staff - although at one point I did see the cashier put his head down on his arms like he was tired or didn't wanna be there. Couldn't tell. His service wasn't overly friendly, but it wasn't bad. Just fine. Anyway - roughly 10 min later got our food, everything was hot and delish, and the milkshake was actually better than lots of other milkshakes I've had! Ok, I'm quite a P. Terry's fan. However: this was my first visit to this store. About 2:30 pm, quick late lunch. I walk in, an employee is wet mopping the floor. Has "wet floor" sign deployed. I carefully make my way to the counter and order. While I wait, the employee continues to wet mop the floor, including around the feet of diners who are eating. I get my order and carefully take it to my table. I go back to the counter for napkins and ketchup. As I'm dispensing ketchup, said employee mopper is now literally mopping right around my feet. She probably got my shoes wet (I don't care about that), but seriously - ensuring your customer's next steps are going to be taken in soapy water? My hair and beard are completely gray, it's obvious I'm not a nimble teenager. I now VERY gingerly make my way to my table to eat. The mad mopper is in close pursuit, once again making sure the tile next to my seat is thoroughly covered in soapy water... I get it, keeping the store clean while open is a challenge, but do you realize that slip and fall claims and lawsuits are a drain on corporate profit? Plus customers who break limbs through your negligence are unlikely repeat customers (even if they become part owners through lawsuit awards?) C'mon, P. you can do better. My order wasn't announced and sat for a few minutes before I realized food was awaiting at the counter. The food is not at all filling and limited in condiment options. It was recommended to me by a friend, so I thought I'd check it out. It was easy to find, has plenty of parking, and some beautiful landscaping. I really loved the layout of the restaurant and the atmosphere. It is unique, clean, chic, and pleasant. Sadly, it was too cold for outside dining the day I went, so I ate inside. They also have a drive through which appears to be popular. I noticed the burgers are comparable in size to those at In N Out, so I ordered a double cheeseburger combo. The fries were served hot and fresh. They appeared to be made from fresh potatoes, always a plus. Both the fries and the burger were served on a tray and wrapped in paper. I was glad to see they are environmentally friendly. The burger was very good, mostly beef and cheese on bread. That's how many like it. I actually prefer more veggies on my burgers and found myself wishing I had gone to the competition. But I am glad to have tried P Terry's. If you're into burgers with less veggies, this is your place. Update: The manager, Phoebe D., replied to my review (another great sign that tells me they aim to serve), and mentioned one can request extra veggies on your burger. Truly clueless. If you order online through their website and they get the order wrong, they blame the delivery driver and tell you to call Door Dash or Favor, even if you didn't use either app for delivery. I ordered from their website. The purchase is through their website. I didn't order from a third-party app. My order is from their website. My credit card was charged by P. Terry's. They picked the delivery driver, but when they mess up the order they told me: 1) You can't order delivery through their website (you absolutely can). 2) I need to contact whoever I ordered from (I ordered from them through their website). 3) Their website instructs you to call the store directly if there's a problem with the order. When you do that, they claim "there's actually not a way to order through the website." I told them to look at their website and they would see that you can. read more
