Quick and delicious! Just how I like my pizza! Food - We stopped at this Blaze location for a quick bite and did not leave dissatisfied. The three of us did the Build Your Own pizza option, which had lots of toppings to choose from. They even offer additional sauces to drizzle onto your pizza after it's done baking which is a nice touch! Service - The pizza only took a few minutes to finish and was perfectly hot by the time it got to our table. There was no line when we got there so we didn't have to wait long for our food. I haven't visited Blaze Pizza since Covid hit. I love that they have gluten free crust. They did offer to change gloves before making my pizza, which I really appreciated. It did take the person a while to get the dough pressed. I felt bad that my order was holding up the line. They have several sauces and so many toppings to choose from. Been to Blazes in Louisiana and Texas and have had hit or miss experience but this one was the best pizza I've ever had from a Blaze establishment. The rising dough made it really really good. Pricey, but good. My wife wasn't the biggest fan of her pizza though. Hope that you come in when there isn't a long line cuz the wait can draggggggg if there's multiple people or families in front of you. Came here on Pi Day and took advantage of their $3.14 pizzas! I've been such a big fan of Blaze back in college but it had been a while since I tried them again. My go to combo is a BYO regular crust with spicy red, mozzarella, goat cheese (they are one of the few pizza spots I've been to that has my fave: goat cheese!), Italian sausage, bacon, basil, spinach, cherry tomatoes, pineapple, and with a drizzle of pesto after it's been cooked. This time I also added roasted garlic which was delicious and I'm so happy they have this as an option now. I love that their toppings are unlimited as I always get extra goat cheese and pineapple. For about $1-2 more, you can get a customized personal pizza with UNLIMITED toppings. I went for the unlimited toppings once and loved it - put as much cheese and sauce and other stuff as your heart desires. I normally prefer the simple one topping pizza with a choice of applewood bacon, salami, or pepperoni. My favorites: #1: Stick to the classic - marinara sauce with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese #2: White cream sauce with applewood bacon or pepperoni and ricotta cheese. They don't offer salami anymore which is a bummer, so I substituted it with applewood bacon or pepperoni. The white cream sauce is really really good - it might taste like alfredo sauce but it isn't overly creamy. Ricotta cheese offers a soft touch to the pizza which is so awesome. #3: Garlic pesto with applewood bacon and ricotta cheese. Yes, ricotta cheese again. Can't get enough of it. The crust is thin and crispy, baked to perfection. You can finish one (or two ) pizza without feeling heavy or feeling like you just stuff yourself with a big load of carbs. Note: If you get ricotta cheese, make sure you ask them to spread the cheese evenly around the pizza. They tend to put big chunks far away from each other, which makes some spots to have cheese and some don't after they're baked. Feel free to ask them for more cheese or sauce if you feel like it's not enough, and they're happy to add more at no extra charge. Drinks: I love their agua fresca. They have different seasonal flavors every time I visit. In the summer, they had coconut, mango, passion fruit, strawberry kiwi, blood orange, etc. Their lemonade is also amazing, and so is sweet tea. The store was filthy and the counters and ingredients were disgusting. The only reason I ate here against my better judgement was because it was "late" around 8:30. I came to Blaze last week because my friend had a coupon to share. I've been to this same location once a long time ago and never had any major issues, but my last experience was extremely alarming. There were numerous problems. First, they ran out of chicken, so we couldn't pick it as a topping. Alright...no big deal. I'll just pick something else. Then, one of the employees kept touching her mask to pull it up multiple times and then immediately grabbing more ingredients with the same hand to put on my pizza. She did not change gloves or wash her hands. HUGE RED FLAG. She also didn't make my pizza correctly; my friend ordered the same pizza and we both got completely different products. Lastly, my pizza came out overcooked. The guys at the cash register were honest about it and offered to remake it for us because they burnt it, but by that time, I was already tired of the wait that I told them not to bother remaking it. Next, the food itself is great. The garlic cheese bread is some of the best around and a thousand times better than any of the chain/delivery options. I also appreciated them providing both of us with a separate cup of marinara sauce. Both of us enjoyed our pizzas and found the variety of pizza toppings to be perfect.
