    Delicious drinks

Went here recently with my family and enjoyed the food, drinks and environment. Outdoor area is spacious and little ones can also have space to run around or play with the slides. Saw some reviewer saying food is pricier but this restaurant isn't trying to be all cheap like Applebees, this place is higher quality ingredients. Check out their menu online and see all the options - for appetizer you have to try their chicken wings, very tasty unlike any other places that does wings. The convenience is great too because of the large parking lot and you can get your grocery shopping done at Randall's right after your meal. This is a nice edition to the area. The service was also good, they were attentive and very friendly.

Overall, Farmand's Kitchen was nothing special. While the service was friendly, it was super slow. I got the grilled chicken Caesar wrap, which was really just okay. What stole the show was the sweet potato fries. I would go back just for those alone. Overall, it was an okay experience.

The food here is quite good. First off, the ambiance is spot on. Open, bright, excellent outdoor patio area. The food is fresh, well prepared and tasty. We had the Farmand Burger and BLT salad. Both were very good. Would love to see the burger be more of a traditional smash burger as the meat patties were just a bit small for the size of the bun but the portion is good and the flavor is really good. You can tell the meat is ground fresh and the special sauce is very good. The fries are outstanding. The salad is packed with fresh veggies and the dressing is quite good. Service was fast and friendly. Our Server Giovanni was excellent! Will be back to try a few more items.

What an excellent addition to the area. While we don't live in Steiner, we 100% have a reason to drive down. We came in on a Saturday around 5 and were able to get a table for the 8 of us. By the time we left, every table was filled. Whether you have kids or not, this place has something for everyone. From the massive gated play area, to the 21+ outdoor section, it was truly well thought out. We ordered a variety of items including the steak frites, steak wrap, and burgers along with a few of orders off the kids menu. (Big shoutout to have steak frites on the kids menu too!). All of the food and drinks were fantastic. The service was great, and I could go on and on around the outdoor area and play scape the built out. We'll definitely be back!

Steiner Ranch has a new STAR in town!!! Farmand's Kitchen you are the new gem that Steiner has been waiting for! The space is so versatile. From girls night to date night to bringing the whole family. Inside has a crisp clean and modern aesthetic, the enormously large patio is perfect for a romantic date night or family outing while watching the kiddos enjoy the playground onsite. The staff is beyond five stars! Very helpful and attentive to your every need. We had the pleasure of meeting the GM, Abdel. He runs a top notch staff that leaves no detail unmet when it comes to customer service and an unforgettable dining experience. We tried an array of the best bites that included: Salmon - Literally my favorite salmon now. So tender, juicy and flavorful. Steak - I love me a medium rare steak. The steak was cooked to my liking and the chimichurri was the golden touch. You will leave dreaming about it! Chicken Wings - Perfect crisp and flavor. Finger licking good! Such a lovely restaurant! I can't wait to go back to enjoy the amazing atmosphere and more dishes! Cheers to the best restaurant in town!

kettle corn bag with a note asking for 5 star reviews

Went with the family and while everyone generally enjoyed the food, opinions were a bit mixed. I found my burger to be very tasty and satisfying but a bit on the dry side. French fries were totally awesome. One of the kids described the chicken strips as having a weird after taste but finished everything. Another was not the biggest fan of the mac & cheese. I gave it a taste and thought it was a bit light on sauce. The Farmand's bowl was very tasty with a good spice level in the sauce, and adding steak was a good move. As for the service, Giovanni took great care of us and apologized that the kids did not receive utensils. He said they are trained not to provide them to kids generally because most of the options are finger foods. I can respect that, but napkins should probably be placed at the seats at least. The hostess also only provided two menus for the party, notably fewer than the number of guests. Not a big deal but a bit unusual. The ambience is fairly relaxed but polished, inside and out. It's clear they put a lot of effort into creating an upscale environment, particularly compared to the restaurant that previously occupied the space. One other note is that they push a bit to provide a 5 star review or to contact them directly instead of leaving a lower star review. This doesn't feel awesome to me, though I realize it might not bother others. The free kettle corn is a nice bonus on the way out, even if it's part of the request for 5 star reviews. Overall, if I could give a rating that wasn't restricted to whole numbers, it would be somewhere between 4 and 5, but 5 is a bridge too far. I look forward to coming back, and particularly hope to enjoy the outdoor seating when the temperature is a bit cooler. They had a modest cocktail list and a few milkshakes on the menu that I'd like to try as well.

Just checked out Farmhand's Kitchen, and honestly? I'm pretty sure I'm in a serious relationship now. This place is so new it's still breaking in, but already feels like the hometown hero of my stomach. The food? Here's the lineup of deliciousness that'll have you reconsidering all your past meals: Chicken Wings -- crispy enough to snap your fingers to, and packed with flavor that should probably come with a warning Steak -- so juicy and tender it basically whispers sweet nothings to your taste buds Salmon -- buttery, flaky, and smooth enough to slide right into your DM's (if fish could do that) The patio? Gorgeous and perfect for brunch, first dates, or pretending you're working remotely while really just eating snacks. Shoutout to Abdel, the general manager, who runs the place like a pro -- friendly, organized, and probably the reason everything feels so seamless. So, if you're in Austin and still haven't tried Farmhand's Kitchen, what are you even doing? Go hungry, bring your appetite, and prepare to fall hard

Frozen blackberry margarita with a Tajin rim

Stopped in for lunch and we'll be back for sure! The design is gorgeous and has a much better flow than the previous restaurants in this location. You can tell how much thought was put into every detail. We were greeted immediately with a smile by Carly, who was also our waitress. She clearly knew the menu and was able to make great suggestions (especially the blackberry margarita with a tajin rim). Everything felt elevated, from the table tops to the floors to the tile backsplash, and we loved the murals. They put just as much thought into the outside, creating different spaces for different types of people, including a shaded area that's only for 21 and up, and of course, the renovated playground with four slides. Carly's service was great and we even got to meet the owner, and had a nice conversation with him as well. The best part, though, was the food. My Husband had the Farmand's burger with sweet potato fries, which were both absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I had the chicken Caesar wrap with Texas dusted fries. Also delicious and cooked to perfection. The tortilla was excellent, I'm not sure if it was made in-house, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was, it was so fresh and thin and giant. To top it all off, My Husband had an Oreo shake. We would absolutely order everything again however, the menu has so many incredible options that I cannot wait to try everything else they have to offer.

    23 Greek salad.

Check out the $23 bowl of lettuce with 2 chunks of chicken and barely any dressing. Generous 2 star only because harvest bowl was good. Such a shame. To echo another reviewer, it had potential. So many things wrong: 1) No waitresses / had to stop someone (the only staff not ignoring us) 2) freezing inside despite it being 80 degrees today 3)got a pretzel appetizer to share but no plates 4) pretzel had a side of pimento dip - exactly like Costco's. 4) A minor thing: bathroom had fancy towels which was upscale, but under the first 10 or so they were gas station napkins- those brown paper towels. Either set the stage or don't. But the worst: check out the $23 Greek salad with chicken. $23. AND we had to ask for mor dressing because it was dry. Avoid this place. Way better choices.

I decided to check out this new restaurant in Steiner Ranch that just opened. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised as I walked in the door and walked through the restaurant and went outside and I thought, what a beautifully stylish venue. This place reminded me something that you might see in the galleria area in Houston. This place had a wonderful vibe. I met the owner Tony, a great guy and I said I've got to bring my wife back. When we came back we ordered the Farmand's Steak Wrap and the Mediterranean Mezze and all we could say was WOW. The wrap was an explosion a flavor and the hummus was the best I have ever had!!!

I've had the chance to visit Farmand's Kitchen twice this past week--once for a preview night and again for dinner--and both experiences were outstanding. The atmosphere is inviting, the service attentive, and the food flavorful and well-prepared. The menu truly offers something for everyone, making it a much-needed and refreshing addition to Steiner Ranch. It is so great to see Abdel Benitez again in the role of General Manager. Great job!!

My group was given two boats for a very roomy experience with canopies for lots of shade if desired (but these were pulled back at night to enjoy the stars), there was even shaded areas on the lake (if you want to sip a cocktail with the boat shading you) on a lillypad to float if desired. The lake breeze and the wind as the boats cruised make it completely cool both on the lake and on the floating tavern. A rental of time at Floating Tavern is completely an experience that feels like you are out of the United States. It is so exotic! They cater your day totally to what you want to do. Want jet skis? Fine. Want to go cliff diving? Fine. Want to just cruise the lake or take a trip with music? That works too. Just chill out sipping a cocktail on a lillypad or floating? Go for it. Once your water time and cruise time is completed, the real fun begins. With expert captains having given us a great lake tour, we pulled up to the floating tavern and that was just incredible. I brought electric candles for the table to level up the experience a bit but they did it all so well with or without them and it was so roomy even for our large group! They had dimmed lights for ambiance, a mixologist squeezing fresh juices for us for amazing drinks she made with the alcohol we brought, (their alcohol package may be easier next time as it is very affordable) and we had two chefs creating small bites for us hot and cooked right there on the tavern as the sun set and we were surrounded only by lake and stars, docked right there in the middle of the lake. The service was exemplary and far beyond our expectations of fun and being catered to. You can bring some of your own food too to make a full party if desired. The communication leading up to the event was exceptional and I'll be honest, I would much rather book this experience with friends a few times a year then ever buy a boat. It is the best lake experience and lake dining you will ever have and the hosts are a huge part of the fun of the day. True experts at what they do and we are a group of well traveled, well dined foodies (including two professional chefs) and we were completely wowed at our evening. It's the vibe that gets you. It's been on our…read moreradar for quite some time, and with my brother in town, we decided to give it a try on a Tuesday night. It was quite busy when we arrived, which immediately set a good mood. The energy inside was great, the decor is beautiful, and the whole space gives off 1920s Great Gatsby vibes. The bar scene looked lively, and plenty of guests seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were offered seating on one of the couches near the entrance but chose a more private table instead. Our server was pleasant and kind, though he appeared new. A few small things were missed. Our appetizer plates sat on the table for about 15 to 20 minutes before being cleared, and fresh utensils were not brought out. The wait time for drinks, appetizers, and our main courses was quite long. It felt like we were there close to two hours, with about 30 to 45 minutes between each course. I arrived starving, and unfortunately the long waits made me cranky and impatient and started to affect my appetite. When our drinks finally arrived, I ordered the seasonal apple cider margarita. I was hoping it would be festive and delicious, but it turned out to be very tangy and bitter and not quite the cozy, fall-inspired drink I had expected. My husband and brother did enjoy their drinks, though. The pork belly appetizer, which came highly recommended, was a mixed experience. I would give it a 10 out of 10 for flavor but a 5 out of 10 for texture. The burnt end was extremely tough to cut through, even with effort, and my knife was not strong enough. While it did taste good, it was not the most tender pork belly I have had. I have had versions that truly melt in your mouth, and this one was much chewier. The fried shrimp appetizer was a solid 7 out of 10. It tasted good, but it did not stand out or wow me. The presentation set higher expectations for the flavor than what came through, and the sauce did not feel particularly unique. For my entree, I ordered the hamburger. It was good and well prepared, but nothing especially memorable, just a solid, classic burger. My brother ordered the fish sandwich and absolutely loved his. We had the chance to speak with the owner, who was very kind and friendly. He is clearly passionate about his restaurant and genuinely wants to continue making it better, which I truly appreciate. I am glad we finally made it in to try The Gramercy. Overall, I would be willing to come back. I think it would be a great spot for weekday drinks, appetizers, or brunch, especially during a busy work week. And I love that it is open late until 12 a.m., which is not very common in Lakeway.

My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. A couple things that docked this place right out the gates was that they had no beer on draft (apparently it's been gone since Covid), and there's a $10 split plate charge. As far as the food quality goes, I found it to be quite mixed. The crab cake appetizer was outstanding, slightly crispy packed with flavor. The stuffed avocado was awful, poorly presented and just looked like a handful of ingredients were slopped together, super heavy on the bbq sauce and the pork was cold. The bread they start you with is the best you'll have, so soft it feels like you're eating g a cloud. The filet mignon medium rare was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning and char, was easily one of the best steaks I've ever had. Chewing was effortless, and bite melted in my mouth. The lettuce in the wedge salad was nice and cold, though a bit drenched with the tossed dressing, served in a chilled bowl. The ribs had a nice smokey flavor, not quite fall off the bone but still had some tender pieces. The scallops were way too salty but the bed of rice it was served with was creamy and delicious. As far as deserts go, the butter cake took the cake. It was warm, soft with a huge scoop of ice cream on top. The chocolate cheesecake is huge, kind of like a mini cake, and was also very popular. It could easily be shared across 4-5 people. The service had its ups and downs. I wasn't too happy about them needing to be flagged down for water refills. Our server spilled two full drinks on a couple people in our party, but he was very apologetic and immediately brought a load of napkins out. I was a bit bothered that a couple of the remaining $18+ cocktails on the tray that were partially spilled were still served and charged to the bill, especially since most of the cocktails were light pours to begin with. The Manhattan tasted like it was made by an amateur bartender, made with way too way too much bitters which completely masked the bourbon. The mocktails were also quite terrible and had to be sent back. They do have an extensive wine selection, and we really enjoyed a couple of their Malbecs.
