The views are really the main attraction here- we sat indoors but the patio is right on the water and so nice. We arrived around 2PM and were able to sit immediately. But the food took a while, about 20 minutes. The hamachi in the roll was fresh, but the sauce tasted a little bit like cleaner fluid. The burger was decent, but $26. So if you go, be ready to be paying for the ambience, not really for the food.

Beautiful Courtney put it all together what a lovely evening. Sunset vibes and waterfront views, paired with a killer meal . Tonight was one for the books

A few girlfriends and I met here for happy hour and had a great time. Happy hour is Mon-Fri 3p-6p. We had a lovely table outside with views of the lake. Their happy menu rocks with lots of good choices and variety. We had a lot of food and some great cocktails. Some of the delicious dishes we tried were, Rock Shrimp Tempura in Spicy Aioli, Truffle fries, Char-Grilled Octopus, Beef Yakimeshi Bowl and the Hamachi Frida Roll. All so yummy and we got completely filled. For dessert we had the Blueberry cobbler - so good! Perfect for romantic dates or a girl's night out with a beautiful ambiance.

In town from Chicago and a few of us decided to check this out. We had a reservation and they called us 30 minutes before it to tell us we would have to sit outside. It was cold and rainy. We were sat on the patio next to the water. We were shivering and after we let them manager know they finally sat us inside. Jasmine, our server, was the only bright spot here. She was great! But the food was overpriced and just ok. The dumplings were the only thing worth ordering in my opinion.

An amazing experience! we visited Quince on a Tuesday right before HH ended and Jasmine (and Miles!) took great care of us! the ambiance of this restaurant is unmatched. We sat on the patio and walking through the restaurant the pops of color and the way the decor is such a clean aesthetic was breath taking. We ordered a little of everything... best were the Surf and Turf Roll, the Peruvian Brisket Fries, but also the Tuna Roll, the Dynamite Shrimp and everything else was TOP NOTCH! Will definitely be back!

Food. Ceviche and verde roll, vegan and dip.

Mia took care of us and the service was good. No issues helping to accommodate vegan options for my daughter. The view and area was really nice. Not crowded and easy pace in an otherwise busy city. Good was great. Got the mahumarra (sp). Was really tasty. Also the ceviche was exceptional. Fresh fish. Great lime but not overpowering.

The place is so beautiful, there's so much space inside and the lakeside view is gorgeous. My friends and I came here for brunch and devoured our meals. Everything was so so yummy. We could taste the authentic Mexican flavors in the food and ingredients. Our waiter was great, though it looked like he was juggling 5+ tables so service was a bit slower than I'd like but still attentive.

What a cute place to celebrate any phase of life or just enjoy a great meal with a beautiful view! we made a reservation ahead of time for a birthday celebration. each dish we ordered averaged about 20$ each (nigiri was 10$ for 2 pieces) drinks were average of 15$ each. everything we had was packed with flavor. portions were a bit small but we ordered quite a few things and shared it all. Fish seemed fresh, only thing that was missing was some type of spice (we like spicy) but other then that , no complaints! my personal favorites were the torched salmon pressed sushi, and the tuna tower! our waiter was pretty attentive but didn't seem too excited to be there. overall we enjoyed the beautiful setting and had a wonderful evening dining with Quince! Pro tip: download the inkind App, we got 30$ off 90$ and 20% back!

Love Love this place! Definitely need to come during a sunset moment - we ended up coming here for my friend's birthday dinner and it was dark already! The food was delicious we got the shrimp tempura, hummus with Brussels sprouts, chicken fried rice bowls and the shrimp bowl! It was amazing! I think the hummus/ Brussels were my favorite part!! Service was honestly just blah - he didn't really do anything too special for the Birthday. Will come back again forsure for the food!

5 stars for the ambience and view 2 stars for the food . Sushi / fish was not fresh. The taco sushi we had, the shelf was half stale Maybe the brunch food is better... but nothing sushi related....

Quince Lakehouse is nestled along the shores of Lake Austin, next door to Hula Hut and Mozart's (across the street from the LCRA). Quince Lakehouse is a summer vibe with a spectacular panoramic view of Lake Austin, fresh air wafting in from the lake and warm sun rays kissing your skin. The multi-tiered decks give the feeling of being on a boat (not sure if this was intentional). This is the ultimate relaxing and chill environment. Quince creates a lake house ambience with stringy light fixtures, life size figurines at entry and homey feel with bookshelves like you might see in a home. This restaurant has changed ownership several times but always manages to reopen. A group of colleagues decided to get together for Happy Hour. The menu is a convergence of foods from Latin America, Asia, and US. We ate mainly appetizers: lamb barbacoa dumplings, smooth hummus, & naan, eggplant tempura bites, rock shrimp tempura in spicy aioli and boa carnitas. All the appetizers were good, however, the standouts for me were rock shrimp tempura and the boa carnitas. I had sparkling rose for the first time and it was absolutely delicious...very refreshing. The perfect attire for Quince Lakehouse is shorts, polos, sandals...casual Austin chic. Outside on the deck it is a bit hot, although there are misters sprinkled throughout the deck. We mainly stayed inside to avoid the 95 degree weather. Important to note, parking is a challenge. I circled the parking lot three times before this nice gentleman told me he was leaving but it would take a few minutes to get packed in the car. I was extremely thankful for his kindness. There is limited street parking. Quince Lakehouse is a great spot for special occasions, scenic vistas, beautiful sunsets, or a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. This dining experience was memorable. Definitely will be returning...

Food: ok so it was my first time here and I wanted the brunch so I ordered a few things to taste it all. Everything I had was so good! Nothing was bland everything had flavor! I even warmed up the leftovers the next day and it was still just as good! The cocktails were also good! Service: the service was solid! I love when you get checked on, and your drinks stay filled. The service was definitely appreciated and boy were they busy! Ambiance: now to be next to the lake, music going, food amazing, and drinks flowing, I'd say this is a vibe. It was hot out and worth every bit of sitting outside for that view. They also had mister fans going. Overall: might be pricey but I felt it was worth it all. Enjoy!!

This is my second time dining here at Quince, My first dinner experience. I really love that they have valet right in front and in between hula Hut and Quince, super convenient and only $10. We had a reservation for 3 at 6:45p. We were sat quickly and directly by the largest window with such a great view. I was surprised to see the tightrope entertainment, He did such a great job and when he was finished he came inside and greeted everyone, That was an opportunity for gratuity. Our server was Ela. She was super sweet, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the Cabernet but both of my friends ordered the matcha martini and I had so much FOMO because that drink was good! Get you a matcha martini. We started with the hummus, brussel sprout plus crudite appetizer. It was absolutely delicious. That was my first time mixing brussel sprouts with hummus and now I am a fan. I ordered the bowl of gumbo but could not finish it because it was just so rich. It had good flavor with big chunks of chicken and sausage but it was just too much food and I had already filled up on the hummus. Overall such a great experience dining in and having some surprise entertainment as a bonus. I look forward to dining again maybe on the weekend.

Quince Lakehouse Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Quince Lakehouse

Is there an actual Happy Hour menu? Can't find one on the net anywhere.... I see their HH is Mon-Fri 3-5:00 but no HH Menu listed on their website or on Yelp.

We were at Quince Lakehouse on 4/13/24 (Saturday). The place was packed, so I don't know if there was a Happy Hour menu for non-weekend days. Hula Hut next door does have a Happy Hour menu.

Are there any light shareable appetizers that would be appropriate for making available for a small group informal gathering?

Definitely! The hummus (with Brussels or short ribs) and toasted pita is one I can personally recommend.

    Is there valet parking?

We went during the day and there wasn't a valet on duty so we parked across the street in the lot. But I saw a valet stand...not sure what hours they actually have that up and running.

    Is there a kid menu?

I didn't see one, but it could be a separate menu and not printed on the main one we were given. Since we didn't have kids with us maybe they just didn't give us one? Sorry I don't know for sure.

    Are dogs allowed?

    Yes, we are dog friendly!

Is there any happy hour here?

yes, there was a happy hour

Plus, there's some nice outdoor seating so you can bring your dog. I will say that the prices are more than I can justify on a regular basis, but it feels like a nice, reasonably healthy splurge. The dishes are thoughtfully composed, well seasoned, and always fresh. Avocado toast is usually a throwaway offering, but they do it right here, fully loaded with pesto, heirloom tomato, and a ton of avocado. There have been some recent changes that are a bummer though. I'm really sad that they seem to have taken the vegan chorizo and potato hash off the menu, which was simply the best brunch dish. Happy hour options are also greatly reduced, leaving very little for vegans, and I'm sorry but on what planet is $8 for pickles a good deal? I still love the place, but it's not in regular rotation.

A $20 SALAD MADE WRONG!!! Apparently their kitchen staff can't read…read more So I decided tried this place because it's always busy and within walking distance to my house. I was really craving a great salad, so I decided to go in. At first you walk up and order, and then the clerk at the front, like all other places turns the screen around and says "One last question", and then stares at you, while you read their 3 tipping options. So you're standing there, guilted into tipping, by an individual that only pressed a couple of buttons, only to have the kitchen get your order wrong. At an establishment like this, it would be nice if you could tip at the end, after the whole experience, instead of out of obligation at the beginning, because you have an individual begging for it. Anyways. So after I ordered I waited, only to get a $20 salad that had 4 small pieces of chicken and with the Miso dressing which I didn't order. I ordered the Lemon Avocado Vinaigrette which came with no snap peas, when I ordered extra. Then when I finally was able to flag someone down and tell them what had happened, she said "Ok" and went back and got a bowl of snap peas. No "I'm sorry" or "Let us remake it" I wouldn't have had them remake it because I hate wasting food.....but what I hate more is feeling like crap, undervalued and unappreciated. Where was the customer service? If you want a great salad, go here......but don't expect to get what you ordered, after you've been strong armed into tipping, and when you bring it up, expect an eye roll like you're inconveniencing them. I think I'll be taking all my Rollingwood women's group friends, to the new spot for a try......Sweet Green in the HEB parking lot.....or I'll go into HEB and buy a whole rotisserie chicken for $6 and a bag of salad for another $4 and go enjoy two salads at home. For such a casual place, y'all sure act uppity, entitled and as if, you're serving Grey Poupn on top of a Grade A slab of Prime Rib.

I had the pistachio creme brulee this was delicious. I was being greedy and being from Australia I had to have the sticky toffee pudding. This sadly was disappointing. It was too salty and hard to enjoy. Wish I ended on the brulee. I would definitely come back as the service and savory items were great
