We visited MOD Pizza last night because everyone was craving a pizza with flavors that each of us really enjoy. As we stepped inside, we were greeted warmly by a friendly voice at the counter. We headed to the front to check out the different options on the wall and admired the fresh ingredients behind the sneeze guard. When the pizza is baked just right, it's truly delicious! They offer several yummy combinations for pizza flavors, and I love creating my own with some crazy toppings for that extra special touch. We also ordered a salad, though we forgot to ask for the dressing on the side, so it ended up a bit mushy. There were a few transient guests passing through the restaurant, and I think next time I'd prefer to order our meals to go for a more relaxed experience. read more

Not much to say about this place it's a fast food place quick Service, build your own pizza or salad good selection of toppings for pizzas. They can make vegan pizzas. They can also make vegan salads and he was beyond meat, but it is a fast food place so I'm not a huge Fast food person so for me there was a lot that I didn't really like about the place. For some reason, the veggies felt here like plastic. I think that is a result of keeping things cheaper. They will fill you up in 25 bucks. I did not particularly appreciate the quality of the food. Our pizza artists were certainly friendly enough... What concerned us was the cleanliness and food handling. One such violation of food handling guidelines was the female (wearing a black "Stitch" hat) throwing the pizza dough plates/pans on the floor. She was trying to chuck them into the bucket, but was lacking in accuracy. Most of her attempts landed said pans on the floor. In turn, the dude flattening the dough out on the machine picked up those same pans from the floor and reused them without cleaning them. Yes, we witnessed this with our own eyes. He was also generous enough to exhibit all the patrons his plumber's crack each time he bent down to the floor to reach for the pans. Thanks, Bud. Anyway, this place is out of control with no obvious shift manager leading the flock. Two of the employees made themselves pizzas as they were not helping customers nor reading a list from a phone order. Just out of control. I am uploading a picture of the pizza, just to show that I ate, maybe a couple of bites, to try to give it a chance and then threw the pizza right away. This was the second time I've had this experience at this specific location, actually. Pizza was soggy, had very little flavor, and was just generally all around depressing. I spoke to the manager a couple of times and also also wrote to Customer Service. They wouldn't give me a refund and told me I had to get the refund from Favor. ... yeah. Ok. You know better than that guys. Nice try. Favor won't refund you if the issue is to do with the food, that has nothing to do with Favor. I would not eat there. Not sparkling clean, fewer topings available that the usually have and the draft beer taps were out of service. Pizza,was still pretty good but there's room for imorovement here. This is my one and only favorite MOD pizza! I love the pizzas here as they are so tasty and resonantly priced considering they don't charge for toppings and allow you to choose a many as you'd like. I also love there cauliflower crust! They have other dietary restricted ingredients and are ver accommodating. Zoomed right in and got a spot on the shade. Score! Walked in and stood in line for my turn. I was nervous so I grabbed a menu on the wall so I can review my choices. I wanted to be sure I made my pizza with all the good toppings. The plus to this spot is that there are a couple of crusts or sizes you can choose from. The standard Mod (11"), mini (6"), Mega Dough thick crust (11") or gluten free crust (11"). You don't have to pay for the toppings. What?! This is why it was love at first bite! I don't have to stress about which toppings I can get before I am charged per topping. I loaded my pizza up. I could hear my mom saying "Don't forget to eat your vegetables." I loaded up on veggies too! This was the perfect opportunity to try a white sauce as a base. I wanted to get something different. Throw in the garlic rub, spinach, Mozzarella cheese, artichokes, Greek olive mix, jalapeños, mama lil's sweet peppers, mushrooms, serrano peppers, spicy Italian sausage, Canadian bacon, salami and pepperoni. Beautiful. Crust was crunchy and not thick. BUONISSIMO!!! The no named cake was also good. Chocolate outside was thick and delicious. Who made this? It's good. Love this place. I didn't know about this place until i visited Austin and love it sooo much! First off, their dough is pretty good for a fast-food chain. All their ingredients are pretty decent and the servers are soooo sweet! I ask for a billion things are they are always smiling hehe Garlic pesto is my favorite. their tomato sauce is good too! Make sure to ask for extra cheese at the end because they dont put too much in the beginning. Pleasantly surprised for a first timer and I'm not even a pizza person. Or I must have been too hungry and everything tasted good. Who knows.. They have a weird day off and that always seems to be the day I'm craving a build your own pizza. But on the chance I am there when they are open, I've never had a problem! Usually you can be in and out within 10 minutes. (They have to build, bake, top and cut your pizza(s) after all. The staff have always been really nice and knowledgeable. The dining area clean and the toppings for the pizza tastes fresh. I love building the exact pizza I am craving. So many options! I recommend the pesto as your sauce and as a topping after baking. And don't forget you can add more cheese to the top of your pizza to hold everything together before baking! read more

I love this Mod!! I love Mod. Never had a bad experience in the past and nowadays to go. Yes there are times they forgot some items we requested on the pizza but it's no big deal. Its minor. The taste and fresh toppings make up for it. Especially when they don't skimp out on ingredients. This location does well with that. They were hopping tonight! It was so busy. Workers wore bandanas and the crowd for pick up and to eat was non-stop. Happy for them. It's also easy to order here too. We just got on the app and picked our favorite ingredients and toppings to make our own. We prefer that. And pay online and 20mins it's done. Easy as that. And it's always hot and fresh here. Let me start by saying I love the food at mod and have gone here for many years. However, I recently placed an order online To be picked up. Once I got to the store I pulled into the curbside parking spot and called and told them what car I was in and that I was here to pick up my order. Then the weirdest thing happened... This is a time during COVID-19 where if people don't want to go into restaurants and if Mod is going to offer curbside pick up, than they should always do this for the safety of their customers again especially at a time like this. As someone who is immunocompromised, going in and out of restaurants is just not something that I can do, nor my fiancé because he lives with me and can't get me exposed. After calling into the store and letting them know which car I was in and the name of my order, the employee refused to bring the order out to the car. When I explained to her that due to COVID-19 I would have felt safest if she were to bring the food out then we go into a building of people. she continued to say that she would not bring out a mini salad and a MOD Pizza. Frustrated, my fiancé went inside to pick up the order after she continuously refused to bring it out to us when they were not busy and we were parked in the curbside parking spot. Once my fiancé got in there to pick up the order the same employee begin to lecture him on why she was refusing to walk the order out to the car. She claims that we had missed a button on the website asking for curbside take out. I just don't understand why if somebody is telling you they're immuno compromised and it's for the sake of their safety during COVID-19 and you have the time to give your customers the Extra assistance that they need, why you would refuse to do it just because there wasn't a box checked off on the online order. She then went in to claim that it was shown on the receipt but the receipt said nothing about takeout, delivery, pick up, or curbside all it said was our order so I'm not even sure what she was pointing out at that point. She was very adamant that she no matter what it will not take out a curbside order unless it was checked off online and I just felt like that was not putting your customers first, or are your customers safety first especially during a pandemic. We've gone to MOD Pizza for years, I've worked for MOD Pizza, and I know that MOD Pizza has higher standards than how she treated us... i'll she had to do was run out a curbside to an immunocompromised customer, instead it took 20 to 30 minutes of her trying to prove why she was right. During a pandemic it's not about who's right or wrong it's about doing the right thing for your customers. Please remember this Mod. read more

MOD Pizza is definitely one of my favorite pizza places of all time. For those that haven't been, think Chipotle, but pizza and no toppings cost extra. They do have their popular ones on the menu (which honestly I've never looked at), but I always do the custom MOD. The MOD size is more than enough for one person, but just not enough for two unless you're both just somewhat hungry haha. My go-to base is white sauce with garlic, pesto, basil, and ricotta. Then I add all my favorite toppings which usually ends up stacked. At the end, I ask them to toss a little oregano on it and then garlic butter all over haha. Once in the oven, it only takes a few minutes to bake so your pizza will be ready pretty fast. When it comes out of the oven, I finish it with Sri-rancha and a BBQ swirl. I'm glad this location opened up near me and have definitely been a regular. read more

This is my father's absolute favorite pizza place! Every time I visit home, he not-so-subtly hints that we should go here for lunch and it has never failed to impress us. The idea behind the shop isn't novel (there are other chains that provide the same create-your-own mini pizza in the country) but I believe this franchise is the first one to settle in Austin (correct me if I'm wrong!). Food: Delicious and very affordable! All their ingredients are good quality and their dough is made fresh daily. You can personalize your pizza any way you want with their unlimited toppings or choose one of their ten "Classics" (which is a great way to start if you're not sure what to get). Pizzas come in 3 sizes: 11 inch (most commonly ordered), 6 inch, and 11 inch thick crust. They also have salads and sides, both of which look good but I personally always go for their "MOD 11 inch pizza" ($8.27) and customize it like crazy (I definitely recommend their roasted garlic and artichoke heart toppings). FYI, there is a gluten-friendly option for an additional $2. Location/Parking: This place is is located at the corner of a small shopping center in front of an H-E-B and beside the H-E-B gas station. As for parking, I haven't had any issues but I can understand why it could be tough to find a spot since the parking lot is pretty small and is shared with other stores in the building. read more

This location is consistently awful. I try it every once in a while to see if it's improved, but I'm always disappointed. I order online, get an estimate for a pickup time, arrive at the estimated pickup time, and wait 20 minutes longer than the estimated pickup time. It never fails to go this way. The employees have no customer service skills, either. The kid announcing the names of the orders that were ready couldn't be bothered to stop mumbling and annunciate so people could understand him. The pizzas used to be OK at this location, but now they look like they've been made by five-year-olds. Toppings are skimpy and unevenly distributed and crusts sometimes come out burned. No one seems to care at all at this place. I've been to other MOD locations and have had far better experiences. This location just sucks. read more

Got the smallest size pizza but piled on those toppings and it was delicious! Went here with coworkers for lunch and we loved how quick it was to get our food since we had a limited time.
