I have had Jersey Mike's before, but this was my first time at this location. I ordered ahead for pick up. When I arrived and went to the pickup area, my order wasn't there. There were two people working, so they verified that I had an order and looked around. It was determine a door dash driver probably took my order my mistake. They stated they would remake my order right away. Both employees were so kind and apologized. My order was ready quickly and I was on my way. It was just a nice experience to have such friendly interactions! The sandwich was great as usual. read more

I visit this RR/La Frontera location every 3 weeks when I get my hair done nearby. I go in and everyone is always very nice. I place my order to go or I eat in and then I go about my evening. I've never had any issues, the food is delicious with great portions, chip selection is great and rosemary parm bread is always soft and so good. They even ask if I want my jalapenos grilled or not. The location is always clean and I'm in and out. While I'm there I see a lot of happy customers come and go. I've only ever noticed 1-2 rude customers on their cell phone letting everyone know they must be important with a short temper but employees get them in and out as well. I feel bad for employees when customers forget proper etiquette but thankfully they don't stay long. :-) read more

Decided to try one day after my work out , since I was dying of hunger and they were not busy during lunch! Staff was very helpful, accommodating to all the changes I wanted to a set menu sandwich, and got me in and out very quickly! I've never really ate here before but really enjoyed the deli feel of the sandwich and the preparation! I would recommend light oil and vinegar as the sandwich can get pretty moist. I got turkey and salami with the works and a side of Doritos! Pretty good sandwich overall and at a good price. They also have online ordering, Mobile pick up, curbside pick up and delivery. I am a regular customer of Jersey Mike's and love their subs. However, while I don't have an issue directly with Jersey Mike's, I do have a huge problem with DoorDash. I placed an order today through Jersey Mike's app, like I have done many times previously. But this time, DoorDash picked up my order and attempted to deliver the order two blocks away from my address since the driver couldn't find our address which is on Lamar Blvd in Austin. He didn't understand english, which didn't help. However, I don't blame him for that. He was told by numerous people that tried to help him on the phone to just drive two blocks down the street and he would find me. But this didn't happen. He refused to drive to me, so I had to walk to him to get the order. That is totally unacceptable. Even worse, when I called DoorDash customer support they said, sorry, they weren't concerned and said it was a Jersey Mike's issue. Wrong. I called Jersey Mike's and they said they have had too many issues with DoorDash and recommended that I use Uber Eats for all future orders since they don't haven't had any issues with Uber Eats. They actually said they were sorry. A lot more than DoorDash did. I was a loyal DoorDash customer for many years. That ended today. I am sure they will give that action the same concern they gave me earlier. Nothing. Be warned. read more

I was excited to have a Jersey Mike's nearby so I can finally try it. There are some cool businesses sprouting up on the corner of I-35 and 45. Parking was a breeze here. It was like a maze to get in and out of here. Lots of parking as I am sure this place will get busier as more people find out about it. The dining area is similar to other shops. There is about 8 tables inside and two outside. It can definitely get packed during busy hours. There is an online/phone order pick up at the front cashier and if you are wanting to order there, the line will start near the wall. The person taking orders will ask if you want a hot or cold sub then give you a ticket. This is what you give the cashier so you can pay for your sandwich while you wait since hot subs take longer. If you order a cold sub it looks like you can have it in your hand while you wait to pay. I ordered the hot Pastrami Reuben. Yummy! Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing. The Thousand Island Dressing wasn't too overwhelming and it was awesome that they didn't put too much where it would be dripping and soggy. Just the right amount and the sauerkraut was delicious. I thought this sub was good and it was still warm when I got to work. Mmmmmm The regular size was pretty filling. Wonder if they have a smaller size to order? When traveling to Round Rock for a volleyball tournament, we were in need of finding a sandwich shop to feed our crew of 15 kids and coaches. Our district requires us to have restaurants charge the school and they mail a check in return. Anyway, 5 other chain shops refused to allow us to do so, even with our tax forms and district forms, but then I got in touch with MJ and Cathy at Jersey Mike's. Not only did they allow us to charge the meals, but they met us on our price point, and customized and labeled each meal for us. I work in the shopping center, so I'll order a sandwich online from here when I don't have a lot of time to leave my desk for lunch. Sometimes my sandwiches will be missing ingredients, other times ingredients I didn't order will be on them. When you order online, it gives you an estimated pickup time. I usually give it a few mins after their estimate and then head over, because I know they can be busy during lunch. Yesterday, I waited 7 or 8 mins after my order was supposed to be ready, walked over, and waited another 10 mins inside for my order. No one was in line, but I'm sure they get a lot of online orders. When I finally get my sandwich and walk back to work, I'm greeted to a long, beautiful hair right on the top of my lunch. Yum! I guess they thought switching the mayo for hair would be a better flavor combo? Maybe ask if I like the taste of hair first? Idk. At this point, I don't have another 20 mins to go back and get a new one, so I cut off the piece of the bread with the hair on top and try not to think about it while I eat my sandwich. Last week as I'm eating with my coworker at firehouse subs, he tells me that his favorite sandwich shop is jersey mikes. I've never been and was skeptical as to how good Jersey mikes could be if I've never even been to it. So the next day at work, my coworker and I decided to go to Jersey Mike's and it almost felt like a blind date. My go-to sandwich at any place is the Italian so before getting there I knew that's what I was going to order. We walk in and at first glance the place is clean and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I let them know it's my first time there and that my buddy talked a big game about how good it is. The lady taking my order lit up with excitement. I've never seen someone more excited to make my sandwich. She starts grabbing the meats and running it over the meat slicer and immediately I'm already impressed with the fact that I'm getting fresh slices which isn't something I've ever seen at a sandwich shop. As she's putting the meats and cheese on the bread she asked if I'd like it cooked, and I thought absolutely. I was thinking it would be like subway where they heat it up and boy I was wrong. She calls out loud for the Italian to be cooked and boom, my bread and meats are on the flat grill cooking away. Now at this point, I've got all kinds of feelings going on internally and I find myself falling in love. I haven't fell for food like this in what seems like years. Maybe I have the red colored lenses on so I try and dial back my excitement. The food comes off the grill and I add lettuce, tomatoes, red pepper sauce, jalapeños, bananas peppers, a little mayo, oil and vinegar, and topped it off with some salt and pepper. This pretty little Italian is looking so sexy I can't bear to wait. I get to the register and she said because it's your first time, I'm just going to charge you for the drink. OMG, as if this couldn't get any better, I mean, I have a company with the name Jersey in it offering me the finest of southern hospitality. At this point I can't wait to sit down and dine with this beauty. Pleasure town doesn't even begin to describe my first bite, if I could elope to Vegas and marry a sandwich, it would be with this one. Instead, I ate it and have been thinking about it ever since. I love the jersey Mike's subs. The reason I am giving only one star is because of the service and people working there. I went to Jersey mike round rock on University Boulevard. I placed an order online and customized my order on cold sub that I don't need the olive oil and the wine vinegar, because I have some health issues and cannot take it. While I was there to pick up my sub and it was waiting standing there because they were behind. The people who were making the sub they were not even looking at that orders and just making subs like robots I asked them if they have put the vinegar and olive oil they said no no no. The other guy standing putting the subs into the baggie he was re-opening the pre-pack sandwiches and looking inside and packing them again and putting them in bags in a suspicious way. What is the point of making subs in front of your eyes is fresh, and one of the member would have to secretly open the sandwiches, I don't feel comfortable. When I came home my sandwich was dripping with vinegar and olive oil. Very disappointing. I hope one of the management team should see this review and look over the people who are working there. read more

Do not attempt to use coupons. We did and after the food was ordered and made the register wouldn't accept the coupon. Cashier checked in there were no exclusions on the coupon! Who manages this store??? I arrived today around 1:45 pm. All I asked for was a regular #3, mikes way w/ mustard. I had to stop the lady from putting rotten tomatoes on the sandwich - LITERALLY a dime size black/brown spot on each tomato slice. She did take them off after I said something and replaced them with semi fresh slices. I was so flustered that I didn't realize she did not add any mayo OR the vinegar and oil. !!! Have you ever had a craving for something that you rarely get a chance to eat? I mean one of those stop and go out of your way to get as you just can not stop thinking about that item... I had that today, after I was busy with Christmas shopping and missed lunch. I had a craving for the Big Kahuna cheese steak and nothing else would work. After looking up the closet location, I found that there was a location about a half of a mile from me. It was on the corner of 45 toll and I35. What luck; right!!! I head there today at 3:30pm for an early dinner and there was a parking spot right up front. It was like the gods were aligned in my favor. That is until I walk in to the location. As I walk in, I go to the front counter the lady tells me to go the counter and the young man would place my order. I go to the end with the cooler and the man stood there with his back to me for about 5 mins. He did not acknowledge me nor did the lady at the cash register say anything. I stand for what seems like for ever not wanting to be rude. Eventually the girl from the cash register walks over to the young man and tells him to take my order and she would finish up what was on the grill. As he turns around and ask me what I want, I tell him I would like the Big Kahuna all the way on white ADD mayo. He turns around and starts working on my sandwich. After a few mins, the lady goes to ring me up. Being Christmas I decided to leave a tip; even though this is fast food and not a sit down dinning experience. As I am waiting the young man brings me my sandwich. As he hands it to me I ask if he put mayo on there as I did not see him do that and did not know if they had mayo by him as well as up front. He said he forgot... then was like do you want me to go get you mayo packets. I don't want to sound rude, but I kinda paid for it to be made for me... I was not keen on stopping opening it up putting mayo on it from a packet... I then told him yes, but it appears the mayo packets are located in some far off land. I waited for a bit and just told the lady nevermind and left. Drove .5 miles back to my place, open the sandwich up and add mayo. When I sit down a few mins later, the sandwich is not hot.. I have cold mayo mixing with the lukewarm sandwich and it just really shot down the whole experience. It seems to become more and more common for people to just not care. I mean I paid $11 for a regular sandwich with no chips or a drink and did not get what I really wanted. I would never recommend this location as the whole experience was mediocre at best. read more

This is the second time I've ordered from this Jersey Mike's using GRUB-HUB. The first time my order was not complete but I brushed it off as an honest error. Today I ordered again from them and again my order was sub-standard. First, I ordered wheat bread, but got white; second the bread was hard and getting stale, third, I ordered and paid for extra meat, but did not get the extra meat; fourth, ordered my sandwich "Mike's Way", and did not get it, and fifth, requested yellow peppers, and got none. I stopped in the other day after my workout. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap. It was exactly what I wanted. I like a generous amount of dressing on my salad or salad type food and assumed I would need more than what they gave. I was pleasantly surprised that the amount of dressing on there was just right. I am a long time customer of Jersey Mike's Subs and used to have to drive over Pflugerville to enjoy their sandwiches. It was exciting to have a new Jersey Mike's shop open in the La Frontera area just around the corner from my home. Now my friends and I can enjoy their fine subs any time we want. The plaza is new so there is plenty of parking. It looks like there will still be plenty of parking once it is all occupied. The staff are very friendly, courteous, and quick regardless of whether there are many customers in the restaurant or just a few. They are open to feedback and try to give the customers the best service they can. I visited today during the middle of lunch rush. The whole team was working together to turn out hot and cold sandwiches. The dining room was clean which is an area where many restaurants can fail when they are in a busy period. If you haven't tried Jersey Mike's yet, you should. The new parmesan bread is a wonderful addition. Keep up the great work! read more

Wonderful service. Very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. They slice it there while you wait. Had the original (Italian) on whole wheat, and also ordered roast beef with provolone and a Philly cheese steak in a wrap. Really a very bad experience at Jersey Mike's. First time there, I didn't know about their sandwich sizes. The employee behind the counter showed me three sizes and I chose the smallest--mini. It's an ample size. A few sandwich makers down the line and I'm at the register checking out. The gal there asks me what sandwich I'd ordered. I tell her and she proceeds to feel my sandwich and commented, "it doesn't feel like a mini". I assured her it was. While I'm asking her to add a drink, she and another co-worker are discussing my sandwich size. It got to where they opened the wrapping to inspect it. Finally, she rings me up with no apology. I'm pissed by now because I've been accused as lying. Several other customers watched this exchange. Not a good first experience. Not planning to go back. read more

So the guy running the register handles cash, he then turns around and helps with making sandwiches. This is wrong on so many levels. 2nd time every going to a jersey Mike's, my wife is gluten free and their gluten free bread is delicious and soft, shes in love. They even washed the knives and swapped gloves to protect her which not every place does This location found out it was her bday and took extra time to make her feel special on her special day. I have been there 4 times in the last few months. The first visit were ok . The third trip I had a cheese steak to go after. Wanting the bread toasted and there red daises put on it. I got home and it was not toasted and no red sauce. I just left there and ordered it the same way. The guy who did my sandwich made it in half the time it is usually made. The sandwich had half the stuff on the inside leaving mostly breading. I'm highly disappointed. read more
