I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the treatment I received at your Round Rock location on June 30 at approximately 12:55 p.m. I am requesting that this incident be taken seriously and reviewed, including any available security camera footage from that time. From the moment I walked into the store, I felt unwelcome. Instead of being greeted or treated with basic respect, I was met with an extremely rude and hostile attitude. When I was asked for my compartment number, I was trying to understand what was being requested. Rather than calmly assisting me, the employee--who identified himself as the District Manager--raised his voice and yelled, "LOOK UP ROUND ROCK LOCATION!" in an aggressive and embarrassing manner. His behavior only escalated from there. He continued speaking to me disrespectfully, shouted at me in front of others, and used profanity while addressing me. No customer should ever be cursed at or made to feel as though they do not belong simply because they are asking questions or need assistance. The interaction left me so upset that I cried as soon as I got back to my car. I have never been treated so poorly by someone representing a company, especially someone holding a leadership position. A District Manager should set the standard for professionalism, patience, and customer service--not create a hostile environment where customers leave feeling humiliated and intimidated. I find it extremely concerning that someone in a management position would believe it is acceptable to yell at, curse at, and disrespect a customer. This experience has caused me emotional distress, and I am deeply disappointed by the way I was treated. I am requesting that corporate conduct a full investigation into this incident by reviewing the security camera footage from June 30 at approximately 12:55 p.m. I believe the footage will clearly show the manner in which I was spoken to and treated. Depending on the outcome of your investigation, I will consider pursuing further action regarding the unprofessional conduct and emotional distress caused by this interaction. No customer should have to endure verbal abuse from a District Manager while simply trying to receive service. I expect to hear back regarding the steps being taken to address this matter. I hope your company values its customers enough to ensure that no one else experiences the same treatment I did. read more

Came here for the first time on Dec 12,2025. Nice, clean, little salad bar. I wish it was self-serve but I'm also glad there are soooo many ingredients to choose from. The woman making our food was friendly enough, and very informative with us since we explained to her we'd never eaten here. The multigrain croissant was delicious! My salad was huge and very filling. It is VERY pricy, unfortunately. We paid $37 for two people. My only complaint is that it was near closing time (1 whole hour prior), and all the tables were dirty. Visible crumbs and food bits everywhere. A man was cleaning the tables while we ate, and when we got up to throw away trash, I heard him let out an extremely loud SIGH with annoyance. I was confused, and then even more confused to see he was cleaning tables and chairs with wipes. Not a sanitizing bucket, or rag; just wipes from a pack. read more

They just remodeled the restaurant and it made a huge difference. Everything is clean and open. Very nice! I've always liked the salads here even though it gets pricey fast. This place has worked themselves from 5 stars down to 1 stars. This time was the final straw! Now you will be branded as crooks! Last Friday, we ordered 2 salads with chicken via online portal. When we returned home, one of the salads was missing chicken. I immediately contacted the store and was placed on hold multiple times by an employee that not interested in helping me with the situation. I was told that I should receive a refund for the chicken and would be contacted by the manager tomorrow. That was a week ago and I have yet to see any pending transaction on my bank account. Salata had moved from several times per month, to several times a year, to a few times per year. They have now graduated to never again! I have better places to spend my money than a hospitality business that knows nothing of the meaning of hospitality! Good riddance! read more

The variety of items was great , anyone could find at least 10 things to pick from the 50 options behind the glass. You get to pick the portion size , the ingredients , the protein , the dressing , the toppings , the bread option, etc. The pita chips are perfect , I had to ask for an extra order to eat later. They also have a kids meal that can be plenty of food for lighter appetites . And it was all done so fast ! The employees were quick to make my salad even with me rattling off what I wanted. I have been to this spot before and do believe that the salads are worth the price point IF you don't have capacity to chop up some veggies or like in my case you are waiting for the Imperfect Food delivery to arrive so you can make my own salad, yet the delivery truck is hours behind. However, for the quantity (not quality) of food you get for the price-point, it is a bit steep. Specifically for the kids portion (yes, I get the food is for a child) but MY child eats more than five spoonfuls of vegetables per serving. We went the other day just to get something healthy-ish, quick, and relatively inexpensive. If you're looking for that then look no further! They were super fast and kind at this location.. didn't have any issues. They offer salads, wraps, etc... I had a wrap the last time, but would probably just get the salad next time around. Going to give this place five stars, it is absolutely amazing. Plenty of parking and very easy to find. The food is very fresh and extremely healthy. The price is extremely reasonable, the tables are clean and the staff are warm and accommodating. I've been meaning to try this place for awhile now and it did not disappoint. It's essentially a build-your-own salad bar. When you get to the counter, you can choose from a small or regular salad or a wrap. I went with the regular size since I eat a lot and it definitely filled me up. I absolutely love how I can pick what I want on my salad and the best part is how many options there are to select. There also isn't a limit on the number of toppings you can have. This is an awesome Salata. The location is clean, the staff is polite, and everything is fresh. I normally don't enjoy eating at these "build your own" salad places because of the expensive price, but when I think about all the preparation required to make it myself (and how much room ten Tupperware takes in the fridge), I rather pay the premium. It always ends up tasting better than the salads I make myself anyways! Expect to pay $8 for a regular sized salad, or $7 for a small size salad. For the difference in price and how much more you get, you might as well get the $8. You might not be able to finish the regular size salad if you aren't used to eating a lot either. You start off choosing a combination/mixture of any of the following: -Romaine Hearts -Spring Mix -Kale -Spinach -"Salata Mix" (which honestly looks like Spring mix to me) Then add any of the following toppings (included in price): Tomato, cucumber, carrots, broccoli, red onion, mushroom, radish, celery, bean sprouts, snow peas, cabbage, bell pepper, artichoke hearts ($1), corn, cilantro, chick peas, green peas, alfalfa sprouts, red beans, black beans, green olives, black olives, beets, jalapeno, banana peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, jicama(?), avocado ($1). You can then proceed to add fruits, cheese, nuts, croutons, and more items. Next top it off with your choice of dressings (fresh herb vinaigrette is awesome). Lastly you can add your choice of protein for extra. This is where I think things can get a little expensive. Chicken is an extra $3, seafood is $4, and vegan protein is $3 (i.e. quinoa, falafel, tofu). If you don't want to pay the extra for protein, don't forget that beans and eggs are a good source too! I found out later the lady who helped with our Tutorial was a very important person in the salata organization, like a VP or something. very cool!! Directions: You can either a) get salad for $8 or a wrap for $7. The wraps looked HUGE and delicious but i had to try a salad. 1) So you can pick your lettuce, I went with romaine and baby spinach 2) pick all your toppings. Everything that is not a meat is included.. you can sample dressings, also! 3) I added pesto chicken for $2 extra. it was delicous and there were no chewy pieces of chicken (*that i ate anyway) and that to me is the mark of a good restaurant.. the quality of the ingredients and the manner in which they were served. And the chicken was cold.. yay.. who wants to eat a cold salad with hot chicken, nobody. These folks got it right 4) You can add you dressing and they toss and serve,or you can be like me and have it on the side. Yum! I was craving a light and healthy lunch today and this totally hit the spot. Everything here is kept orderly and clean, which is probably because they make the salads for you. You start near the lettuces and choose whichever kind you want. I went with their house mix of romaine and red cabbage. Then you get to load up on vegetables so I got carrots, red onion, black olives, and cucumbers. They have a multitude of cheeses but I skipped those as I like my salads without them usually. Feta in Greek salads being the only exception. Once you've figured out the lettuce and vegetable base, you get to pick what dressing you want. I liked the sound of the fresh herb vinaigrette so I got that one. I asked them to go easy on it and thought it was delicious and just the right amount to give the salad flavor without losing its crunch. Once dressed, you pick your protein. They are laid out beautifully and have 3 different kinds of chicken, seafood, and even tofu. I got the pesto chicken and also added sliced avocado for $1. I wanted artichoke hearts, but those would have been another $1 which I thought was steep considering that I already paid extra for the chicken too. Bread comes free with each salad so I got a slice of pesto bread to match my chicken. Croutons are free too (and look house made) but I skipped those as well since I had bread. I ordered the small salad and it was huge and filling. You can make it a large for only $1 more, but come hungry if you do. They also serve soups, cookies, and brownies. Very good food; I only wish there was a closer location to my house. I also wish they had a normal soda fountain here. Their space aged one makes you hold your cup very still and position it just so for the sensors to detect and add either water or ice. Ain't nobody got time for dat! I visited Salata by the outlet mall in Round Rock recently with a friend. I am in love. Really. If you love salad. This is nirvana! Basically its a salad cafeteria. Pick what you want, prices are posted clearly, and at the end of the line pay for what you chose. I liked the quality of the items I chose, and that the pricing was straight forward. IF you want bread they have it, but it's easy to avoid as well. Do note that they do have nuts and peanuts on the line and in at least one dressing. The service was very good, but the chicken i got for my salad,chipotle, had very little flavor, my wife had the pesto chicken and boiled shrimp, both of which had very little flavor. We got two salads and two teas and spent about thirty bucks, that's too much for salad. They used to give you 2 servings of the protein and now it's 1 serving. I questioned the new serving size and they told me it's costing too much money to give 2 servings so we had to cut back and do just do one. It's already kind of pricey (a regular salad and chicken for $11) but to cut the protein portion in half just rubbed me the wrong way). I may go back but it will be much less often. It's really an overpriced salad, but I do come back because is the one of the few salad options available around here. It's great because it's all customizable. However, if I am paying $3 for chicken you could at least give me more than 5 cubed pieces!!! The seafood for $4 is even more not worth it. Shrimp has no flavor. The crab has a sweet mayo sauce that is just ok. They are really heavy with the dressing so make sure you tell them half a scoop. I happened upon Salata looking for some food after shopping at IKEA. I was so excited when I saw the storefront (which is in the center across the street from IKEA) because I have wanted to try it but, I never find myself in this neck of the woods. The parking can be hit or miss because there is a ton of stores packed in the strip mall so, bring your patience. Walking in I noticed they have a large side patio with bistro tables for the warmer seasons. When you open the door the smell of fresh cut vegetables is all that you can notice and this was promising. I thoroughly enjoy salad buffets of all kinds but, I find the quality and freshness of the ingredients usually to be lacking. We were warmly greeted by the lady behind the counter and when I told her that it was our first time there, she gladly explained how it works. You can choose a salad or a wrap and I chose a large salad because the price difference was only $1.00 from the small to the large. It seemed like a no brainer. I chose romaine hearts with black olives, sprouts, mixed shredded cheese, bleu cheese, onions, egg, cucumbers, chipotle chicken, chipotle ranch and pesto bread. They had two other options for bread as well and you could also accompany your salad with soup. There isn't a limit to the number of vegetable toppings that you can pick and they aren't stingy with the toppings. They only have tea and lemonade as "fountain" beverages but you can get bottled coke, topo chico, etc. for the same price of $2.00. They will let you sample the dressings and the different meats if you are unsure what you would like. The toppings tasted like they were just sliced as we were walking in; that is how fresh they were. The dressing was creamy and had a great kick of spice that didn't overpower the flavor. They also toast your choice of bread and toss the salad with tongs at the end. For me this is awesome because mixing a salad can be frustrating to try to get the dressing fully mixed over the whole thing evenly. Another bonus is the protein toppings are cold. I can't tell you how many times I go to a salad place and the protein is placed hot on top of a cold salad. A big no no for me! We moved through the line quickly and the place was pretty busy. The service was impeccable. The girl who helped us was knowledgeable, friendly, happy to be at work and I watched her interact with customers on a higher level than most service industry employees.
