    Reuben Sandwich
    Courtney B.

I placed an online order from this location for pick-up on 6/22/22021. Customer Service- When I walked into the establishment, it smelled of mildew and the floors were sticky. I quickly proceeded to the to-go rack to get my order. When I approached the to-go rack, there were two employees by the rack who seemed to be arguing over whose soda was whose and failed to acknowledge me. 0/5 Order breakdown French Dip Sandwich - In general, I enjoy this high calorie sandwich, but this one not so much. I was expecting a true skirt steak or flank steak but that is not what I got as evidenced by the photos. The Au jus for the sandwich was extremely salty. While most folks know that a typical Au jus is made with thyme, salt, sherry, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and onion powder, this Au jus seemed to be made with salt, beef stock and another mystery spice I couldn't make out. Overall, this was a complete miss for me. 1.5/5 The Reuben sandwich- The Reuben sandwich is an American grilled sandwich composed of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing, grilled between slices of rye bread. This Reuben as pictured was a top of soggy Rye. Had the bread on this been toasty and not soggy, it would have been okay but not great. 2/5 Chilly- I have no words for this, it was canned. 0/5 Potato Salad- This was clearly not made from scratch and purchased in bulk. 0/5 Tomatoes and Cucumber- There is no way to do this menu item wrong, but it was tasteless. A hit of balsamic would have been much better in the finished product. 2/5 Overall 1.45/5 There shall not be a return visit. Although this is a 2-star rating, it really is just above a 1.

Ate here late afternoon in a Friday and was very pleased! (Barely any patrons) Enough parking, clean tables, and friendly staff! I ordered the chicken club and a baked potato which were both delicious! This was my go to place when I lived out of state, and I'm soo glad I found one here with the same great taste and quality service! Definitely recommend for all your sandwich lovers out there!

Oh my gosh! I don't know how I went so long without McAlister's. They quickly became my favorite deli place in Cedar Park and I can't stop eating it! We have had McAlister's twice a week for the past 2 weeks. Drink - they don't call their tea the famous tea for nothin'! Their tea is the best I've had. Add in a little peach syrup and it's perfection in a cup. Sandwich - spicy turkey melt. It comes in a super soft and delicious baguette and it's stuffed with generous amounts of turkey, cheese, greens, tomato, avocado and chipotle Mayo perfectly combined to make it a delicious bite each time! I'm not a big dessert person but I did fall for their Brookie. Half fudgey brownie and half soft cookie. Oh man, it's so good and only $2! Love, love, love this place! Super affordable, food is always on point and extra delicious!

I said yes, I want everything as is (included in the description) and to add jalapeños. I was told that sometimes they don't put this on the sandwich, it really depends. I confirmed again that I wanted lettuce and tomato plus jalapeños as I originally ordered. I thought it was strange on the "sometimes they don't put this on the sandwich" ? Well, I got home. There was no lettuce, no tomato and no jalapeños. My husband didn't eat his sandwich due to half of the sandwich being missing.

Despite visiting the store three or four times and speaking with different managers, no one ever helped me redeem it. The free sandwich never showed up on my account, and I never got to use it. On my last visit, not only was I told the reward was expired (even though I never had a chance to use it), but I was also treated rudely by the manager. I ordered the Da Vinci sandwich with specific instructions: lettuce and tomato only, no Italian dressing, and no spicy ingredients. Instead, my sandwich was made loaded with jalapeños, pepperoncinis, and hot peppers hidden under the cheese-- totally opposite of what I asked for. It felt intentional and disrespectful. My dad was worried they would mess with our food and I said I'm not worried b/c I thought they would be more professional. I way underestimated the maturity of those workers. The sandwich was so spicy I couldn't even eat it. These are expensive sandwiches, and I expected better quality and service. This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at a sandwich shop. I won't be returning to the Cedar Park location --if I ever return to Ike's I'll stick to the Round Rock or North Austin stores instead. Really disappointing experience from a brand I used to love.

I quickly learned why it's a favorite among the elevated crowd, the sandwiches are named after different THC strains! Before anyone asks, no, the food is not infused. The names are just part of the fun. Now, I'm a toasted sub enthusiast, and a toasted sandwich is only as good as its bread. Thankfully, this place delivers. The menu is creative, the atmosphere is laid-back, and there are plenty of little touches that make it stand out. One of my favorite surprises was the drink fountain stocked with old-school Kool-Aid flavors. Instant nostalgia! They also have a full bar and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to kick back and hang out. Don't skip the house-made "smoker snacks" either. The Rice Krispie treats and cookies are dangerously good and worth saving room for. A heads-up: parking can be a little tight up front, but I've heard there's additional parking in the back. My biggest piece of advice? Go big. The small sandwich is basically foreplay, it'll leave you wanting more. Order the large and thank me later. Overall: Great food, fun theme, nostalgic drinks, tasty treats, and chill vibes. Definitely a spot worth checking out, whether you're a cannabis connoisseur or just someone who appreciates a solid sandwich.

The…read moreatmosphere is so inviting /lots of people and lots of seating A concept I've not ever seen before in a toasted sub sandwich shop-or frankly any brand of sub sandwich location. I ordered a 4 inch essentially vegetarian sandwich. They have 4"-8" and 12" subs available and lots of choices-with unique names -mine was called "the Griefo" along with a make your own option. My sandwich had a couple of different types of lettuce, along with cucumber, red onion, and dill pickles (I requested) on a jalapeño cream cheese base. I was given a stand with the picture on it, and was advised the sandwich would be brought to me . After ordering my sandwich, I stepped across to the bar where I chose to sit on the outside barstools. The bar seating was quite full, but it was a beautiful day with a healthy breeze, so I was quite comfortable. The young lady behind the bar was very prompt in coming by to ask me if I would like a beverage and so I ordered a strawberry margarita. (a note.: they do not have frozen drinks at this time). She advised me it was the first time she had made a strawberry Version Of a margarita-but she did a great job and it was on point!!! shortly I was served my sandwich. (I didn't mention that there are options for bread for your sandwich, and I chose the herb and garlic.) I don't know where they get their bread, but it's delicious. My sandwich was stuffed with ingredients and looked and tasted really great!! What a great introduction to this cute little shop tucked away in a strip center off of W. Hero Way in Leander. In fact, it was so good that last night I phoned in an order and the three of us had it for dinner. I did attempt to use the online ordering system, but it kept notifying me that the restaurant was not taking online orders at that time. I knew it would be very risky to call in the order because I have a couple of people here that are very picky and although we found sandwiches for them, they were going to have to be a lot of alterations!!! However , I did call and a man on the other end of the phone took my order. Giving it was very intense making sure that I eliminated all the items that the two picky people in my household don't eat. In all honesty I didn't expect the sandwiches to turn out perfectly as there was a lot of background noise (sounded like everybody was having a great time there!!!). I was told the sandwiches would be ready in about 15 minutes so when I hung up I proceeded to get ready and drove over there. There is a separate area for to go orders so that is where I went. The young lady who was helping me couldn't find my order, but then I thought to tell her I phoned it in and they kept those orders in a different area up by the cash register. Sure enough there it was ready and waiting. The 8" White Widow was made exactly as requested. My son said the chicken breast in the sandwich had the best seasoning and flavor he had ever had. Next was the 4 inch Pacific blue which is a tuna melt(fresh tuna salad with cheddar cheese) and toasted too perfection. It also had to be altered, but was made just as requested. I had ordered the Griefo w/jalapeño cream cheese along with all the veggies-asked for pickles to be added, which they were! We had ordered one of the desserts, a "Gooball" which was similar to a rice crispy, treat with peanut butter, added and shaped into a ball.... how could that not be delicious???? We were more than satisfied with our sandwiches and divided up the Gooball so we all could have a taste. The perfect bite of sweetness at the end of a meal.!! We can't wait to experience their food again!!
