The food lives up to the quality I'm accustomed to at Shake Shack. The restaurant is very clean. This is what it has going for it. No one greeted us upon arrival. Everyone was in the back. It sounded like they were working. Couldn't really tell. We had to do everything ourselves so it was confusing when asked to tip. What service am I tipping for?? We were prompted to give phone number and take a number when entering our order on the iPads. So one could only imagine the tip was for some kind of table service. Table service never happened. Our order was left in a tray on a rack at the entry to the kitchen. After waiting ten minutes, I saw our drinks on the rack and then noticed our order. Someone did come out to at least hand me the tray so there's that. As we finished, we noticed things got busier. No one can out to greet anyone. Everyone placed an order on a kiosk. Personally, I find this to be a terrible business model. This place deserves 5 stars! Me and my boyfriend came here for dinner and everything from the food to the service was phenomenal. We got the chicken shack and a double cheeseburger with fries and everything was perfect. The fries here are my fav and they came out perfectly golden and super hot. The chicken sandwich had great flavor and breading and the cheeseburger is always good here. The staff was awesome! Today was my first and last visit to Shake Shack. Upon entering, you are greeted by order kiosks where you must place your order. For me, they were not intuitive, and I would have left in the first five minutes if a kind young lady, a customer, had not helped me figure it out. The total cost for a hamburger, onion rings, and a small shake was $26. Then they ask you for a tip- even though they don't have servers. The hamburger was small, generic, and not good enough to finish. A tiny serving of onion rings was overcooked, dry, and tasted slightly burned. A tiny shake was $6 and nothing special. For some reason, they do not include napkins on the tray with your meal. If you want napkins, you must go to the self-serve kiosk and get them yourself. They have water there as well. I'm still trying to figure out what the requested "tip" is for. It can't be for service as there isn't any. Total waste of time and money. read more

My burger and fries were tasty as usual! This is one of the better set of fries that I've had from a Shake Shack. They were perfectly crispy without being hard. They also had the perfect amount of salt! I did a mobile order and it was fulfilled quickly. I appreciate the fact that they provided lots of ketchup packets, without me requesting them. Great service - people at the drive through and up were very nice, friendly and polite. They also offered a very generously size dog biscuit for our pup, which we graciously accepted. Top in class were the fries, to quote my co diner ( we did drive through at 1PM on a Saturday, so they were not crowded at all), "these are so good, I can't stop eating". I had the Veggie Shack, which was ok, the crispy onions unfortunately were not, and it would appear from the presentation they are trying to make this as close to a regular burger as possible for a vegetarian, which is probably not the direction they should go. A crisper offering would have been appreciated, too much of the same consistency, no crunch. I don't regret ordering it, but would try something else next time. My cohort had the bacon cheese burger wrapped in lettuce. She said it was a good burger but nothing special. Not bad, but not ground breaking. She noted the burgers are better at Five Guys. This was actually my first time at Shake Shack. I wanted some good curly fries and I had heard good things about the burgers. This Cedar Park location is in a very nice location and you can eat outside. The restaurant is super modern and clean. Ordering is available on a kiosk, like most fast food locations these days. It's easy to do and tips are still expected. The burgers came out quickly enough and everything was fresh. The price is relative for all the smaller burger joints (small in size) in Austin with the smash burger style. Overall the food was good, especially the curly fries, and fresh. I came to this location to get a few of the usual menu items and to try the Korean Style Fried Chicken sando. Generally, a Gochujang sauce is a thick and spicy-sweet crimson paste made from red chile pepper flakes, glutinous rice (also known as sticky rice), fermented soybeans, and salt. This white-meat chicken breast sandwich was drowned in a very sweet Gochujang glaze. This Gochujang lacked the spice that one comes to expect from a sauce/glaze such as this, however was heavy on the sweet, which is unfortunate as this is supposed to be what makes this sando a standout. The kimchi used on this sando is white napa kimchi, which includes napa cabbage, daikon radish, carrots, garlic, and onions. This version of kimchi was not what is expected when one thinks of kimchi. Overall, the sauce and "kimchi" were a disappointment as I was expecting more traditional flavors. This is the type of sando that may be for someone who likes sweet glaze on their chicken and cabbage as a substitute for lettuce. read more

I have to say this is a fun place to get a burger. I especially like the Smoked Shack one with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. The peppers that come on it are spicy and delicious. They really add to the overall flavor. It is kind of do it yourself ordering. There are 3 or 4 kiosk computers set up to input your order. There is an attendant available if you have questions or need assistance. There is plenty of seating, both inside and outside. The tables are adequately spaced to provide some privacy. We tried the new Shake Shack this evening and the food was great. We ordered the Frozen Hot-cocoa shake, the snickerdoodle shake, the smoke stack, the chicken stack, bacon cheese fries, classic fries and chicken bites with honey mustard. We also grabbed a unsweet tea and sunset lemonade! The food was prepared quick, all was a good temperature so we could eat right away. Good flavors, perfect portion sizes. The crinkle fries were crisp and sooo good!!! The tea and lemonade were great. Highly recommend the lemonade and any of the shakes!! Our shakes were yummy, did have a slight hiccup when ordering as we ordered with no whip and they were prepared with. The staff were super sweet and fixed it immediately!! Very expensive ! I don't remember Shake Shack being so expensive but maybe that's why I stopped eating at the Domain location. Four people four sandwiches four fries four drinks at $84 not including tip I could have gone to a decent restaurant with a waiter and not had to order my food off an iPad. The place is clean the staff is extremely nice but the food isn't worth the cost in my opinion. My star rating is mostly because of cost and some minor quality issues. Like I said the staff was very nice and attentive and the manager even gave us some free milkshake coupons for a next visit but I could have bought just as good a burger at In N Out and spent way less. To add my burger bun was so soggy it ripped apart when I picked it up and the burger was extremely over salted. The meat was nicely cooked and had those delicious crispy edges a smash burger would have and the fries are really good but our nuggets tasted oily and also very salty. If one burger alone wasn't $10 -$12 and the fries alone weren't almost $5 each individually order just cause you add a drizzle of cheese I would be way more inclined to eat here and recommend it to others. So my recommendation goes like this , if you don't mind spending a lot of money on good small burgers unless you double up on meat patties and you are craving this place and that craving cannot be satisfied with other places then go here . If you don't like having someone take your order if you dine in and like friendly staff and think those things equal paying more for food then go here. If you like paying decent prices and also having someone polite and cheerful take your order and getting a decent sized meal for your money go to In n Out up the street . We have been here twice. The interior is clean and nicely appointed. The burgers are very good and the service is also very good. They have a self ordering system that I needed a little help with but a very pleasant young man came to our aid. I also love their shakes and the fries are terrific with a nice little crunch. They are also good neighbors in the community. Both of our visists were for fund raisers, one for First fondation school and the other for the Vista Ridge band. The ony suggestiion that I would make is to not keep it so cool in the dining room. I intend to try other menu items on my next visit. read more

Writing this review to remind myself, they do not have any of the vegan shake options! And other than that, what's offered here is mediocre. Outside seating has so so many cockroaches it just grosses me out. Every time I make a customization like don't put mayonnaise on the burger (ew!) it always comes with the mayo. It also takes forever. What's the point of ipad ordering if you don't even follow the instructions. They take forever and always forget the shake my spouse gets. This shake shack just opened up in cedar park and they have long ways to go in terms of getting processes and training in place. But they are trying hard. We ordered thru drive thru and had to repeat my order and double check it before we left. They got my order mixed up with another customer and good thing I checked my order before I left the location. Manager was guiding the drive thru along with communicating with employees inside as well. Food was just usual shake shack food what got expect in every location. I went with my family for my brothers birthday! The staff were super friendly and the kiosks worked great! Everyone enjoyed their burger and the fries and sauces were good. The wood tables were clean and the ambiance was serene. My father complained that everyone ate his shake hehe Paul and Linda were very attentive, checking on us chatting and even talking our picture! This is one of those self ordering places (minimal interaction) that imposes a tip at checkout before experiencing the service or atmosphere.
