My customized banana split was excellent!  No need to be normal - use chocolate ice cream and use different toppings.  They are very accommodating. The employee who took my order was friendly and engaging.  He made me feel welcome.  There is a lot of seating in the restaurant, and most of it is separated to provide privacy in sections. It was free ice cream cone day and it was crazy with cars wrapped around the restaurant waiting in line. I went inside and the place was jammed full with over 25 people in line. As I waited the line moved quickly and servers were bringing out dipped cones by the bucket full of all colors. Red, blue, brown and white. Food was being served quickly. I only waited a short time ordering tacos, a burger, a dipped cone and yes a free one to go. This isn't typical old, outdated DQ. New, clean, modern, excellent service, organized, and the burger, tacos fries and cones were very good. And, they had a 7 foot tall ice cream cone walking around outside to pose for pictures! I really wanted to get a choclate dipped cone after so many years of not having one near me. I was able to get one in a cup and for the size and price was a better deal than Baskin Robbins. First time I've been to DQ in a while, to my surprise I was in the mood for something hot instead of cold so this review's for the hamburger and fries. This location's in an odd spot. Unless you're coming westbound on the 1431, this is a very difficult place to get to, as you have to go through a hotel's parking lot and weave in and out of several buildings. Still, parking is not a problem. Service was fast and friendly. Floors were sticky, but that might have just been bad timing as they were starting to clean it by the time I got my food. I ended up getting a Belt-Buster combo, which came out reasonably fast and fresh. I can't put DQ burgers at the top of my list for fast-food choices, but the patty would give McD's a run for its money. Toppings and bun were fresh, fries a bit soggy. On the whole, a well run place, I'd visit again. This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. The manager Daniel was quick to want a review. My meal came with a treat and with a review I would receive a second treat. I asked kindly if both treats could be combined and he quickly told Me No. I have previously purchased the same meal and been given a small shake with the meal. When I informed him of My disappointment and dissatisfaction and told him that he could keep both of my treats. He quickly turned and walked away turning his back to Me. I am probably 10 Years his Senior and Believe that he should be respectful. I then informed Him that I was going to write a Bad Review. He quickly responded'"The number is on the wall". I happen to really like this location. Staff is generally always super friend. Food, while fast food is generally better than other fast food places. I even had a DQ taco and it was good. Place is super clean which is always nice. Bathrooms are also clean which is really a plus for parents with young children. The ice cream is good and what you'd expect. Fail My blizzard she handed me was melted and Pored out of the cup after I tasted it and gagged-nasty! Brownie bites and caramel sauce was a bad decision Apparently! Burger patty doesn't even taste like real meat. Went there last night and the burger bun was very dry. And the patty tasted like cardboard.

We hadn't had DQ in a while so we decided to have it for dinner. We got a 4 piece Steak Fingers basket, a Belt-Buster with cheese combo and a small Apple Pie blizzard. The total came out to ~$22. We really enjoyed the Belt-Buster with cheese. The burger was massive (in comparison with other fast food restaurants)! The cheese was melted on perfectly, the toppings were all fresh and the buns were extra soft! The steak fingers were also good and crispy. Fries were a little thicker than other places and didn't get too soggy in the travel time. The Apple Pie Blizzard was delicious!! It had little pieces of apple, small bits of cookie that reminded me of pie crust and caramel bits. Personal preference, I'd enjoy less caramel bits and more of the apple and cookie but would definitely get again. Drive through took less than 5 minutes. Terrible service. We brought our dog inside and were immediately given the stink eye by employees. Her dog jumped up with 1 paw that touched the counter and the cashiers freaked out. They began disinfecting the counter, acting like he had some contagious disease. It was so over the top! They did give him a pup cup, but with major attitudes. Eventually, they got their GM to come over and ask us to sit on the patio. It's 103 out! We bounced and told them to go F themselves. I've never experienced anything like that in Austin. I am editing my review after speaking with Daniel, the manager. Daniel was more than willing to make my experience with them right. He stated they don't have a time limit on making things right with orders. He went on to say if I wanted to wait 6 months to go and get my corrected hunger buster I could. He also stated he would address his asst manager telling me I had to pick up corrected hunger buster the day of. This is the first time I have had a problem with this Dairy Queen whether it be take out, delivery or dine in. I am going to keep my original comment to show that the complaint was taken care of in a very timely manner. Thank you for taking care of this matter and listening to what I had to say and caring about what I had to say. I had surgery 2 weeks ago and unable to drive so I ordered through Uber eats. I ordered a hunger buster with cheese. I clicked on no cheese, no tomato and no lettuce. When the order arrived I had cheese, tomato and lettuce on my burger. I called to speak to manager and asked him if I could come another day to get my burger done correctly since it wasn't done correctly. He said I would have to come tonight. I told him I can't drive which is why I ordered through Uber. He said I would have to call Uber. I told him it wasn't Uber that messed my burger up it was them. I then asked foe his manager information. I asked what time he would be at store tomorrow and he said he couldn't give out that information (are you kidding me?). I will call back tomorrow to speak to his boss. Hopefully I will be able to come by in the next few days and get the burger made the way I originally ordered it. After my wife and I spent a few nights at the nearby Cedar Park Hospital welcoming our son into the world, we decided to celebrate by getting some DQ for dinner! The staff at this location was super friendly, and the location overall was very neat and clean. The cheeseburgers we had were great! As another reviewer said, the burgers are right up there with Whataburger. They are delicious. Any trip to DQ without getting one or their famous blizzards is a wasted trip in my eyes, so you know we got our blizzard fix! Our order was prepared accurately, and it came out in a timely fashion. Five Stars for a Dairy Queen? I know... I know... that's weird! However, this place stands out as much for their customer service as their ice cream. We have gone twice now this past week. Once for just some ice cream and the second time for burgers and ice cream. The people that work there were amazingly kind. You could tell that it was genuine. The young man at the counter greeted us with a huge smile. He gave compliments to our children. He later joked with them through the window. The manager also made it a point to compliment and help my children. That's the way to a mama's heart! The food was good. I actually really like the fries. My son, who did not want the pretzel sticks I ordered him, ended up inhaling them after finally trying them out. The cheese sauce ended up on my fries. A solid meal! Ordered a Hunger Buster Jr, what I given was a kid's meal cheeseburger. Wouldn't have minded the mistake if it had not been so disgusting and inedible. I came here today with my dad. We both ordered the same thing, a 4pc steak finger with a large fry and a medium drink. The food came quickly and fresh out of the frier, but upon arrival at our table, we both noticed that there was no way our fries were large. They don't put them in a fry carton, so how can I be sure I'm getting what I was paying additional for anyway? One thing is for sure, the fries were not large size. And, most of them were brown on the ends. Then I bit into my steak finger. Full mouth of rubber cartilage. Gross! I had to spit it out. My dad had the same problem.
