Came here last night for the $.85 blizzard deal and ordered some food to go with it. The love Dairy Queen icecream and an Oreo blizzard always hits. The service here was great and they did a really good job thoroughly mixing up the blizzards. I will say though that I am not a fan of Dairy Queen food. We got the belt buster and a kids chicken strip meal and both were very subpar. The burger had zero flavor and the breading on the chicken strips was very dense and flavorless. Overall this Dairy Queen is very nice with very cute outdoor seating but I would only come here for ice cream! read more

I've never actually eaten a meal at DQ before now and it was actually surprisingly delicious. I don't think a lot of fast food joints offer steak fingers and these were so good and so nostalgic for me I loved them! Fries were meh but the blizzard I got was the star of the show of course. I went to the drive through order a hunger buster and it was absolutely horrible. By the time i got home the burger had so much grease that the buns were completely soggy. Not only that the drive through girl named Paige was really rude. I gave her a compliment and instead did saying thank you she had to reiterate she was married. I've always appreciated Dairy Queen for the good food and kind smiles. Do better. read more

Worst experience I've ever had with customer service through any drive thru. While placing my order, I accidentally blacked out for a second that I misunderstood what the worker was saying that I ended up repeating my order just incase my order wasn't placed to start with. While I was driving to receive my order, the workers were making fun of the way I was shouting out my order unknowingly that I caught them mocking me behind my back. One of them still followed up by testing me with "your Reese's is on its way. Sorry just kidding! Here's your mint Oreos". I as a customer had one little slip up is one thing. Yet, the workers still had to mock me over it and tested my intelligence was unprofessional and rude! I will never come to this location ever again only because of this read more

Horrible experience this evening......I. am at this location at least 5 days per week. I was in earlier this even with no issues. I returned tonight at approximately 8:35 pm. I ordered an Arnold Palmer. And every time --just about--- there is a state of confusion with this one item which completes my order. The first person who I thought was going to accept my money looked at me trying to speak clearly then immediately closed the window and walked away while I still held out my money to me taken Then... another person comes to the window... I'm trying to get my drink and she's trying to explain to me that with the Arnold Palmer the tea is always sweet which was an issue because there are times when I'm there and I'm questioned if I want sweet or if I want unsweet but I finally just said ma'am just please give me the drink and let me give you my money and that woman said.... you're rude and I don't have to serve you and she close the window and walked away. I was very insulted I did not do anything that should have merited her offensiveness ... nor did I say anything that should have offended her nor di she listen to a word I was trying to say ... I was the one offended and insulted... how dare she ...and I will contact headquarters. it was not her place to do what she did and I used to work in hospitality 50 years ago and I know that the customer is always right. How dare you..exactly who do you think you are? Someone who can treat people however you choose and then walk away like you that big and bad? To preface this, I was born and raised in Texas and I've been eating Snickers Blizzards (or Choco Cherry Love Blizzards - IYKYK!) for most of my life. Dairy Queen was an essential part of life growing up for me, and we'd regularly stop in for a Blizzard, Dilly Bar, or dinner. It think it's a bit disappointing to see the quality of food go down so much, and I have to say that based on my most recent experiences, I'm becoming a Culver's convert since their Mixers are always blended and they offer gluten free buns. It's hard to justify buying a $5 small, poorly blended Snickers Blizzard or a $5.50 medium (and also poorly blended) Snickers Blizzard, when I can buy a half-gallon for a better price from H‑E‑B. Especially since I can't eat anything else at Dairy Queen anymore, I just don't think it's worth it to pay so much for a Blizzard that's only half blended. It's also curious to me when I see that the pricing for Blizzards is different for different locations, but it really just comes down to the quality and consistency for me. read more

This place has outrageous highway robbery prices. I also don't ever re-visit any fast food joints that tell you to pull forward and park after placing your order at the drive through window and receiving your drinks. That defeats the purpose of the drive through. It's not called a drive through, park, and wait in another location window. read more

This was bad. I realize I ordered my Uber Eats after 9pm (9:15), but the lack of taco meat in my 3 tacos was bad. One of them barely had any; in all 3 of them there was more lettuce than meat. New location and we are liking it. We come here for the desserts of course. I've been having a craving for strawberry sundaes and it never disappoints. The blizzards of course are also always good. My husband likes the steak fingers so occasionally we get that as well. My favorite of all time is the ice cream sandwich reminds me of my childhood. Still tastes the same and is the same price! For some fast food chains, the individual franchise makes a difference. For Dairy Queen throughout Texas, this is especially true. I can tell you horror stories of certain locations. One franchise where you rarely, if ever, have to worry about this is a Mayfield DQ. (And he's got a webpage to help you find which locations in the Austin area are his.) So, on Sunday evening, when I was trying to figure out what to eat, I remembered there was a new DQ location nearby. I stopped in and got a basket of steak fingers (which we long-time Texans used to call a country basket). The food was on point. And because it's a Mayfield DQ, the staff was beyond friendly and efficient. Not to mention that it was spotlessly clean. Adding to the wow factor with this location was a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine which gave me all sorts of drink options. read more

Loved, loved, loved, my birthday ice cream cake. I would highly recommend it. It was beautiful, it was big, it was tasty, it was delicious. The person who did the more than gorgeous decorations on it was Edgar. The rainbow was a added beautiful touch and the writing was perfect. His directions on keeping it until serving, spot on. Y'all got your Tacos all wrong!! The meat was overcooked and very dark. Too much sauce... it should be just seasoned beef. Lettuce was not shredded properly and some pieces were questionable. Plus, at other Dairy Queen's the tacos are LOADED with THICK shredded cheddar. Management should go to another location to see how they load up on the cheddar with lots of tomatoes to be consistent with the other stores. This is a new opening, so once you get the tacos right, I'll be back! read more

This review is more aimed at how nice the staff is at this location. The food seems to always be fresh and tastes like DQ. Every time my wife or I go here, the staff is always super friendly and smiling. That's not something you see these days as a standard. Whatever they are doing here I hope they keep it up. The kiddo loves going there for ice cream cones and since we're there....might as well get an awesome Blizzard. Keep it up DQ. read more

Very SLOW service. Not sure why they splatter the "Mayfield" name all over their stores, as if it's a sign of prestige. Quite frankly, any one that has had this name is always so slow and dirty. The CP location is super dirty. This 183N location is SLOWWWWW. I haven't been inside but the two times I went through the drive-thru, for 8-10 cars it took 12 plus minutes to get served. Eek. Not too efficient. Also of the two times, one blizzard was missing whipped cream and the other hot fudge, that I paid extra for. read more

Came during my lunch break, I saw it was short staff (2 behind counter and 1 on lunch break) so I waited to be served, but no one came to front desk to take my order. So, we did the next best thing: we took a Road-Trip to Cedar Park, Texas, to enjoy the Best Protein-Style Burgers EVER. This In-N-Out is only 193 miles away and makes for a nice day-trip in under 3 hours - one way. It's also a beautiful drive through this part of Texas. Arrived just after 11 am, and there are already a good number of people here, especially at the drive-thru. Joanna took our order: 1 Cheeseburger, Protein-Style, with Onion, Tomato, Pickles, and their sauce, also with Ketchup & Mustard. I am having the Double-Double, Protein Style, with Onion, Tomato, Pickles, and the sauce, also with Ketchup & Mustard. And we asked for 2 small drinks. I opted to have the single burger with cheese, fries, and an iced tea. I went through the drive-through which are two lanes, and stopped at the window. You have to be careful because the outside drive-through lane they have people walking back-and-forth delivering food. In the lane closest to the building when you get to the window, you get blaring music. That was my only complaint. I'm not gonna say they're fast food because all three times I went. I had to wait for my food. But it did come out hot. The burgers are pretty much OK they're not the greatest but the real meat the cheese is always melted and the vegetables are fresh. Now the fries I noticed people complaining on reviews saying they're burnt. I absolutely loved mine. They were perfect. The best part is when you reheat them in the oven they get really crispy, which are my favorite. The pricing is extremely reasonable. I think the combo that I got was like eight dollars for a cheeseburger fries and a drink. I have come back here more times than I expected so I had to give them the four star rating

So while the concept is great, Cali style burritos (known for having fries)- the execution has been disastrous. If you're charging top dollar ($15 for a burrito) the product better be perfect. The first time I ordered my burrito it arrived cold and soggy. Figured it might be a fluke so I gave it another try, ordering a norcal and so cal burrito (main difference being due to having hot cheetos). I ordered one with carne asada, the other with chicken. 2 burritos plus delivery and tip? $40. Here's what they got wrong: -Due to an allergy to an ingredient in hot cheetos I asked for my socal without. It came stuffed with them. I literally couldn't eat it, but enjoy the nice picture. You know food allergies can kill someone? - Both burritos came without guacamole or sour cream. Major ingredients in any burrito. - They ran out of Carne asada and had the delivery driver call me to say they only have chicken. So hey, they charge premium and didn't even bother informing me half their ingredients were missing. And then screwed up the only exemption I had, ruining one burrito completely. So they get the rating they deserve unfortunately. Two tries, 3 strikes as far as I'm concerned. Spend your money elsewhere, for the price they charge you can easily get much better. Avoid.

The meat was dry dry dry... the homemade chips were hard and nowhere near necessary. Maybe this is a so-cal thing, but this is Texas and we have good nachos and quesadillas everywhere so they can't compete where they don't even compare. Side note the fries tasted ok, but I don't need them in a quesadilla.
