I stopped by this Wetzel's Pretzels located inside the Santa Anita Mall whatever they're calling it nowadays. I've had Auntie Anne's and also had Wetzel's at other places as well. I have to say the pretzel that I got was amazing. I love the cinnamon option. It was very buttery at the base and also the cinnamon added a great churro like bite to eat, and it was great. I wasn't really sure how to line up and the line really isn't that intuitive but it all worked out in the team member there had to man in the tire booth by herself and she did a great job and she was coming out with orders fairly regularly. Be sure to join their rewards club. It is a little bit weird where on my android it wouldn't work, but then on the iPhone it worked fine and a lot of hiccups. If you're in the mall looking for some great pretzels make sure to come here to Wetzel's. read more

Pretty overpriced pretzels that are very mediocre and not as fresh as they say. They are a nice little snack but not really worth the money. The cup of pepperoni bits were just sitting there being kept warm and ended up not being super fresh. The staff are friendly and the booth is clean. read more

Even with a 15% off coupon I was surprised at how expensive these pretzels were. I paid over $15 for two pretzels which is crazy especially because they were already a little hard and not as chewy as they should be. They also didn't have the flavor I wanted which was jalopeno cheddar. I'm not sure if they were out or if they don't make this flavor anymore. read more

Can't go wrong with a Wetzels Pretzels when at the mall. Stopped by and ordered the jalapeño pepperoni pretzel but they had just ran out. The friendly person up front mentioned the new batch would be ready in about 10 min. Decided to take a little stroll around the mall and once I returned my pretzel was ready. Quick and easy, nice and friendly service. Thank you! read more

I looooveeee snacking at the mall : ) Is it always feasible or the most fanciest of foods? Nah, but I love the walking and snacking and browsing aspect of mall going- been doing it since I was a litto gal. Food- Pretzel!! It was delicious. Definitely bigger salts added to it so if that's not what you like... then you don't have to get it salted! It was a bit oily but it's a pretzel!! So : ) I loved it. I missed out on the cheese this time around but I had to eat shortly after, heh. Service- They were friendly, prompt, and that made the experience enjoyable! Always go back and forth between Wetzel and Auntie Annes, but a dear pal of mine said Wetzels has/is a more savory vibe and that's definitely more me! Will be back :D read more

A satisfying experience at Wetzel's Pretzels in the Arcadia The Shops mall. The wait time was quick and reasonable, even on a busy Friday evening. The pretzel itself was soft, but not overly so, and still had a good chew and mouth feel. The cinnamon topping on the pretzel was delectable, and you can tell the actual cinnamon topping was made to order and not pre-made. Overall, a great experience and selection! read more

COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. All of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open to customers at limited capacity. They are also sanitizing in between customers. While I was checking out what this establishment had to offer today, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: This establishment is located inside the Westfield Santa Anita mall. There are plenty of parking available during the pandemic. Prepandemic parking was hell. They need to make some underground parking garages or above ground parking garages to accommodate all of the people trying to shop at this mall. It sucked having to circle the lot for like 20 minutes just for a parking spot. Store & Food: The store here is pretty clean, neat, and tidy. I got myself a Wetzel Dog. Pretty bomb. I haven't had this in years, and it tasted just the same as it did all those years ago. Staff: The staff here are very nice and helpful. Quick and easy check out. They take both cash and credit. read more

Located downstairs in front of H&M and JC Penny. I appreciated how patient the cashier was as I was indecisive on what to get. Almond pretzel or pizza pretzel bites or pretzel dog bites - too many options for a pretzel lover!! I ended up opting for a savory pretzel and got the pizza pretzel bites ($6 something after tax). The cup is pretty big and filled to the top. They were already pre-made and sitting in the salamander in the front but were still nice and warm. There was a good amount of cheese and pepperoni on every bite, but they weren't quite as soft as I would've liked. Towards the end it got a bit hard to chew as they cooled down, but still tasty! Service was fast and friendly, will definitely be back for my pretzel fix. read more

I almost never write reviews but service was rude and awful. We ordered a simple order of two Cinnabitz. Person behind us ordered a more complicated one. They got mixed up and gave us her split bag order. They asked us to trade after we already opened our bags and touched the food. The other person left with their extra food and I was standing there with half of what I ordered. When I asked them to give me the other bag I paid for, the guy behind the counter demands my receipt. So I have to dig through the pile of dirty receipts left on their counter to find mine to prove that I paid for two. There was only two orders after me. The cashier is looking at me blank. She could not have forgotten my order. She says nothing to the manager guy and just waits for me to dig through the receipts to show that I paid for two. Then they pick up the pile of receipts and ask do you want your receipts? No! I have no desire to clean your trash up. Finally left with pretzels. Will not be heading back. read more

Nathan helped me out and was AMAZING!!! I was waiting in line and watched a customer lie and accuse him of charging her wrong when she was the one on her phone not paying attention and ordering the wrong thing. When I came up to order he was very sweet and helpful. Thank you for your great service Nathan!! read more

Upstairs Wetzel's near Victoria Secret, I bought $19 worth of Pretzels, Pretzels ! So I asked the young kid, hey I will pay extra if u can add more butter and extra almond to my pretzel bites, he said "what?" I said well when I go to the Wetzel Pretzel downstairs they add extra butter and almonds for me, they put my bites back on a tray add butter then put them in the shaker and more almonds "we don't do that here" I will pay extra I don't mind "look we made these fresh this morning Me "it's 5:40pm" well it has enough almonds, but I will do it for u anyways He grabs my little bag of almond bite pretzels throws them ok THROWS them into a bigger Wetzel Pretzel bag, adds a tiny bit of almonds barely a scoop and ROUGHLY shakes the bag then puts them back into the little to go bag. Me " thank you I'm sorry i bothered you but i am paying for a product, I am paying for services being rendered and I did offer to pay extra" He hands me the bag and says nothing. As I look at my bag and taste my pretzel bites they're cold and no almond stuck to them because they're so old that the butter is no longer on the pretzel bites it got absorbed. Really kid ? Most of us start where you are, working a part time job going to college and guess what it sucks to be disrespected and it pisses us off when people don't give u what u pay for, I'm so calling the company and telling them my voice will be heard, yes over a pretzel, an expensive pretzel a pretzel that I'm paying for to enjoy and it's worth the $ but not when I don't get treated right not when it's cold not when it's old not when u hand me the product poorly No dude not today not with me I have a big mouth I deserve what I want because I've worked my buns super ridiculously hard to get to where I am and enjoy what I want Never again lesson learned read more

Wetzel's Pretzels - Disappointed Barely a sprinkle of Almond, when I asked for extra almond - Pretzels Near Me - Arcadia, California

After ordering my food, I received unsalted wetzel bitz instead of salted which was not a big deal but when I asked to have my food salted, the cashier, Blanca S, started to reprimand me for not telling her even though I did. And she continued to lecture me about what I needed to do. I expected more compassion due to the fact that we both have masks and there is plastic between us. It was extremely rude and condescending. The pretzels were also very stale and I ended up only eating a few. I believe they may have been sitting out for a while. read more

I am not sure whether the company is to blame or its employee. I saw on Westfield website that Wetzel's Pretzels is offering a BOGO Free promotion: Buy any one pretzel, hot dog, or bitz and get an original pretzel for free. I was taking my 2-year-old to the play area and shortly after we got there I realized I was super hungry. I remembered about the promo so pulled up the web info since you are required to show the ad in order to get the promo. I approached the kiosk, conveniently located right in front of the play area where we already were, and showed the employee the ad, implying that was what I wanted. She told me the promo is buy the (cinnamon) bitz and get the original pretzel for free. I looked at the menu - the bitz is $5.99, and the original pretzel is $3.99. It didn't sound right to me, so I looked at the ad again carefully. It clearly said ANY pretzel, hot dog or bitz purchase. I told the employee that's not what the ad said. She said the information on the ad was wrong and that her register was set up and will only allow her the option of bitz purchase to get the free original pretzel. Feeling misled, I left. But I was not happy about it, because I thought that was false advertising and some kind of bait and switch, AND, I was still very hungry. So I decided to call the mall to let them know about the inaccurate info on their web ad. Didn't know who to talk to, I selected the Concierge. I explained to the Concierge what happened and to my surprise she offered me a pretzel on her! That was a very nice surprise. Upon leaving the mall, walking by the center court towards the food court, I came across a display in the middle of the walkway of WP's BOGO Free promo. On that ad it also said ANY pretzel, hot dog or bitz purchase (I wish I had taken a photo of it). After seeing that ad - since it was much more conspicuous - it made me wonder: was the employee just being dishonest? read more

So I went today because I have been craving a pretzel for some time now. As I approach the downstairs location a young man is sitting with his phone in his hand (sure probably slow day). I noticed in the display the front pretzels look soft and fresh so, I asked for the jalapeño pepperoni and I was offered a dipping sauce. I walked to the coffee bean location to get a drink for my pretzel (no line- clearly a slow day) I grab my drink and sit down to take a bite out of my pretzel. HARD, DRY, & DISGUSTING. I was so disappointed this pretzel didn't hit the spot. Every Wetzel location I have gone to gives me the most oldest pretzel ever! Sad. I'll be going to Auntie Anne's now. read more

Whenever I'm craving pretzels, I usually stop by here. They now have the Wetzel Pretzel App, yay! Sign up and receive a free pretzel on your birthday & a free, welcome pretzel too! Birthday Pretzel Rule: You can only get a regular pretzel. Bummer, this doesn't include the Wetzel Dogs or Bitz, which are usually my favorites. (Unlike Auntie Anne's, you can pick whatever pretzel style and type you like). Other than that, the pretzels are always hot and fresh, especially, the ones I want. My favorites are either the Wetzel Dogs (either the large hotdog pretzel or the mini hotdogs) or Wetzel Bitz (Pepperoni mainly). I also do like that if you buy those, you get more since they come in a bag as opposed to Auntie Anne's that come in cup. Service: Can be a hit and miss. Sometimes, you get an employee that's nice and friendly. Other days, you get a miserable one. As long as you get my order right, and my pretzel fix is satisfied, I'm happy. Lastly, I also like their Strawberry Lemonade too! It's sweet, refreshing and pairs well with their pretzels. Overall, I'm a fan of Wetzel's, and now that they have the app, it makes it even better, yay! read more

Just left from here and it's conveniently located right next to the kids play area. Do you believe it costs $6 for a small lemonade? Is that not the most insane thing you've ever heard? Wetzel inside the Santa Anita mall. There are 2 locations, one on the bottom floor by H&M and one at the top floor in the middle. They both have the same pricing. Flavored Pretzel - $3.89 - I got almond and sour cream & onion. The base pretzel was nice and chewy. The flavorings are ok but not that great. I would prefer a plain or salted pretzel over the flavors. Pepperoni Twist Pretzel - $4.19 - Same pretzel as above with pepperoni. Wetzel Bitz - $4.99 - Costs more then a normal pretzel but the amount of pretzel you get is more. Prices are more expensive then Auntie Anne's. I love pretzels!!! I prefer Auntie Em's, but Wetzel's is pretty gosh darn good. I always end up getting one before a movie...sneaking it in my purse....I always snag a few jalapenos from the theater to add to my yummy pretzel. My fave is the regular with salt and I'm also digging the jalapeno, cheese, and pepperoni. The lady that works there is so nice. Usually, I love coming here to get my Pepperoni pretzel. They are soooo good and hit the spot while shopping and browsing around. However, today I ordered something different-a jalapeno cheese pretzel dog-and the bottom was totally burnt! I didn't notice until I got it out of the wrapper and noticed the charred bottom! Those sly pretzel workers put the hotdog out in the display rack in a way to hide the burnt part of the hotdog. Worse part is, it wasn't cheap (around $4!) If I'm paying good money for food, I expect it to be cooked well and not overdone. I am so upset, I should have returned it, but wasn't sure if they would except it after I took a bite from it. **Wetzel Pretzel Admin, if you are reading this, please make sure your employees are honest when making their food. If something is burnt, it shouldn't be sold! I'd appreciate a coupon to try another UNBURNED pretzel dog!!! You have been warned, double check the backs or behinds of your pretzel snacks to make sure they haven't been burnt. If they have, return it immediately and ask for a new one. read more

Im sorry this has little to NO pretzel taste whatsoever. Just like formed baked dough. Last month I was at the mall with a friend... she bought me a pretzel from another proprietor in the mall. The pretzel I bought from Wetzel today is pretty much flavorless unless you just like eating baked dough. The cheap ones you can buy frozen & bake/heat at home have a better flavor. I went to Wetzels Pretzels on Tuesday May 14th around 7:15 pm and asked the girl behind the counter for a cup of ice and she stared at me for a while and said that she wasn't aloud to give it to me. Im a regular and have received a cup of Ice more than once before from this booth. So I asked the guy working with her for a small cup of ice and he said he's not aloud to give it to me and that there is a sign that says so. I asked him where is the sign and he said that the sign was removed. I then asked him for The managers name and number and he said that he doesn't have it. I then left the counter and told me sister about my experience and she approached the counter with me. While we were waiting the guy took out his black I phone and took my picture after I took theirs. Since they weren't wearing name badges. The young lady working the register turned her back to us and started buttering pretzels as soon as she finished helping the person in front of us and we were just standing there for a while waiting and no one was helping us. Then after a while the young man came over to wait on us and my sister asked for the managers name and contact information and he said that he doesn't have it, then he said I have it, but I'm not going to give it to you and started to go back and forth arguing with my sister, telling us that we are on camera, amongst other things. The young lady eventually turned around and my sister then asked her politely for a cup of water and she refused. I then said okay, I'll buy some cinnamon pretzel bites for a small cup of ice water and the young lady still refused to include it in my order. The young man said if you brought a cup with you then I could give it to you. I then said okay can I buy a cup for the ice water and he said no, there has to be soda in it. So I asked him even if I buy something I still can't get a small cup of ice water? And he said that's right. That I can either buy bottled water or soda. Then I asked for their names and he said his name was Nathan, but I believe that he lied about their names. Then my sister and I left the line. I feel as if I was denied service even after I was willing to order pretzels and buy a cup for water. My sister and I are African American and I feel like we were discriminated against. My family and I are regular customers at the booth in front of Clare's and we have never experienced customer service like this before. read more

I remember exactly it was this location that I bought the drinks from and it tasted like it was rotten lemonade. I reached a manager number but she said it was Auntie Anne's instead that I might had problems with. And checking the images right now it is exactly this store. Forgot I had the receipt, it says Wetzel's Pretzels! You can't drink in the premise due to covid , so we had to leave to realize the drink is not fresh. ( It was a weird rotten taste we had to throw it away). The manager I reached said she can't see the transaction history of what I bought. I can't believe they will do this to you and not take responsibility. After trying to reach her back guess what she won't answer anymore, after throwing the blame to Auntie Anne's. Well let me know is manager number 626 446 1355 is linked to this location. The girl I called first before giving me this number also said she's the location in front of forever 21.
