Expected Standard Yogurtland Experience I came on a Sunday night around 9pm. When I got here, there was a small patio outside where a few patrons were enjoying their chill treat. Going inside, there were a few tables by the entrance, then the counter around the middle, and the machines in the back/side. I asked for sample cups to try some new flavors as I haven't been to a Yogurtland in a while and it was very simple. All the machines were working at the time so no complaints here. The condiments were all stocked except maybe one thing but I didn't care for it; and everything was the quality I would expect from a Yogurtland. It seemed clean inside; I didn't see the water dispenser or use the restroom so I can't say anything for that. The guy working there by himself seemed cool and everything was as expected. So, yeah, it's a very standard experience which doesn't mean it's bad or anything. It's what I expect to get when I go to a franchise and not every franchise needs to go above and beyond in order to get 5 stars. Just sticking to their standard quality, service, and presentation is enough. My only complaint is that the prices seem to have gone up since my last time going to Yogurtland. I'm not sure if prices vary location to location, or if it's just inflation. I did get a decent amount of stuff, but I was expecting to pay like $6-7 vs the almost $9 I paid for my cup. I love coming here for yogurt. The staff is always friendly and its a fun option for Monrovia. Although, I am getting tired of the yogurt stains in front of Starbucks from people using Starbucks patio seating because Yogurtland does not have any. Additionally, the dripped, spilled yogurt stains behind Yogurtland going from their door all along the sidewalk and even up the stairs is an eye sore. Price: as of Friday 3/18/22, it's 62 cents/oz If you haven't already, I highly recommend signing up for the Yogurtland rewards program! While I don't come here as frequently due to the steadily rising prices, I was able to accumulate enough points for a $5 reward. As a result, my froyo purchase was less than a dollar this time around. I appreciate that this location still has a hand sanitizer station, plastic food gloves, and a sign requesting that customers use both before dispensing yogurt and toppings, but I wish they were a bit better about enforcing these safety measures. This was our go to location. Was there today around 2pm. They usually have a good selection and it's nearby. I always get the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor. Today the texture was off. It was very grainy and didn't taste right. Since I had a good amount in my cup that wasn't edible. I told the girl what was wrong and asked if I could get a little bit of another flavor. I've worked in the good food industry and the response should've been,"I'm sorry. Let me talk to the manager." Instead I was told I would have to pay. After asking her to taste it for herself multiple times , I was told I could get a different flavor. I could see they had turned the machine around to fix it. Frozen yogurt is always great, especially after a nice date. Came here after having sushi and it hit the spot. I love the fact that they have the little sample cups right by the register. The flavors are so yummy! And to my surprise they now carry Milkshakes. I would say it's a little too watery for my taste but over all it's pretty tasty especially the cookies and cream. I really like this Yogurtland....Always friendly staff, clean and well stocked. Always great rotating flavors and a variety of asian items as toppings and yogurt flavors. Always a good mixed neighborhood crowd. The only negative is that there are only six machines versus some locations that have 7-8 but you really don't notice it too much here with the spacious store design. So I came back today since I was in the area and used the vouchers for a "free 3 oz per person" 3 oz in a cup is pretty insignificant , but I was able to manage to do it. When I went to checkout, it said $3.18 for all four of them. Now, this place is $0.35 per ounce.so I had less than 10 ounces. When I gave the girl over the counter four vouchers for a free 3 oz. . She had to ask someone and then re weigh each and every one of them. After she reweigh everything, I ended up owing her $0.38. Keep in mind I had less than 10 ounces between the four cups since my prior total was less than $3.50. How the heck did my yogurt grew in size with no more toppings added on???? I did notice that she also weigh the spoons with the yogurt the second time around???? But no way in the world am I going to pay $0.70 additional for four spoons! So I don't want to sound like an ingrate for having the free 3oz vouchers but weights and measures , or Manager Anthony should look into this. read more

I would take down one star because lately they have a lot more ice cream options than froyo, yet the froyo they do have is really great quality w simple clean ingredients. The place is cute, convenient and the staff are always really sweet. They alternate froyo flavors regularly so check online. They have great toppings too and rewards in case you're not concerned about having an excuse to visit often. If I ever crave ice cream in the summer I come here instead and its actually pretty healthy (in moderation) and doesn't interfere w my fitness goals. The ingredients overall are very natural and clean and they display them so you can make informed decisions as you choose flavors. I would never consider Baskin Robbins or Cold Creamery (yuck) as this place is much cleaner simpler ingredients and higher quality better flavor. read more

We got what we wanted...5 stars. Friendly staff, super helpful to kids and moms around. Water is free and they don't deny other kids who have no plan to buy yoghurt to have some fresh strawberry- flavored h2o. That's cool! I love that kindness! Parking isn't bad. If the front is full, find it at the back, and back door opens for you. As always, I don't get flavors but plain and coconut. Pumpkin goes for strawberry. Not a good situation here for two reasons. 1. They have a sign as you walk in to wear 2 gloves before you grab a cup and serve yourself. That's the good news. The bad news? It isn't enforced - as I saw a family of 7 come through and touch virtually every yogurt dispenser handle WITHOUT gloves. I told the employee about it and they just shrugged. It's fine if the signage said gloves are optional - but the verbiage didn't make it sound so. 2. This next part is even worse. The toppings area is now wide open and you can serve yourself. Mmmmmm, love me some Yogurtland! Yogurtland is one of my favorite chains when it comes to froyo along with Menchies. But this one is located near me so it's within walking distance. This location in particular is always clean and well kept. When you walk in there are sample cups waiting for you on the counter instead of having to ask someone for some. They don't have as much flavors as other locations but they do always have the popular ones. It's near the gym so it makes for a great after workout cheat snack! I always walk to this location so parking is never a problem but many people who do drive don't realize there is a parking lot that's located right in the back. It's a huge parking lot so there is always plenty of parking. There's also a Coffee Bean right next door. Or if you need to do some grocery shopping, a Von's right across the street! read more

My family and I can't deny our love for Yogurtland!! My daughter loves going there, my husband loves going there, and I love going there! I love how they circulate different flavors so each time we go there's new flavors to try but we typically end up sticking to our usual. My daughter likes mango, I like plain tart (sometimes I go wild and get pistachio), and my husband likes the creamier darker stuff like dark chocolate and things like that. as for toppings my daughter really likes the pink bubbles that pop with juice that comes out... I like the fruits and the dark chocolate chip and then especially the salt sea salt Carmel spread they have at the end... my husband like the seasonal fruits. we like to go there when it's really hot out after walking the streets o Monrovia street Fair on Friday nights or just as a treat for my daughter behaving well. read more

I like that they have Ghirardelli brand sauces and toppings, but I hate that they don't have a regular granola. They have those Health Valley granola bars broken up into pieces. ?? So you get a big rock of granola bar in one one instead of nicely distributed granola. Annoy. Always a good variety of flavors of course and generous with the sample tastings. Some flavors have corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup, but many flavors only have sugar and actual real ingredient flavors like black sesame paste or raspberry puree. May have to go in to try the Road Runner Cactus Berry Tart. Actual Ruby Cactus Pear and Marionberry puree in it and corn syrup free. =) read more

Yogurtland is one of our family faves when it comes to fro yo. Come on. How can you not like fro yo? They've got great flavors and ample toppings to choose from. I've been to this particular location several times and have always had a great experience. They do a good job of keeping the machines and toppings bar clean. Staff here have always been friendly. And you can sample as much as you want. It sucks a little bit that you have to go the cashier to get the sample cups. Would be nice if they were a little bit closer to the machines.
