Clean. Local. Friendly.Yummy! Sounds like Pinkberry in Downtown Monrovia! I haven't had Pinkberry in years and I'm glad I stopped by earlier tonight and got their regular Tart flavor with chocolate chips topping. I love how we can get as little or as much as want and there's so many different flavors to choose from! I'll definitely be hitting up this spot more often once Summer starts! I'm writing this because I love Pinkberry and actually want this location to survive--but it won't if the owner keeps treating portions like they're coming out of his personal savings. I have never seen yogurt measured this aggressively. It genuinely feels like the guy is pouring by the milliliter, as if a few extra grams might bankrupt the business. The experience is so uncomfortable that it kills the joy of ordering. At this point, I don't even feel angry--I feel embarrassed for the owner. Running a food business without understanding that generosity drives loyalty is a guaranteed way to fail. Hands down, the most stingy owner I've ever encountered. read more

It was our first time in Old Town Monrovia, and this was our first stop. We were in desperate need of a restroom for my wife. I personally prefer Yogurtland because you can serve yourself, the prices are more affordable, and there's a wider variety of flavors. I wouldn't be rushing back to Pinkberry, but our son did enjoy it, and he's not hard to please as long as there's strawberry in his frozen yogurt. The bathroom had a computer chair, which was unsettling and gave off a creepy vibe. read more

Young high school Van dreamed of going on a Pinkberry date. All of the cool kids were going on Pinkberry dates. My dreams came true when my boyfriend took me to Pinkberry BEFORE DINNER. So romanticccccc! So I am a die hard Pinkberry fan! I was so sad when the locations around me started closing down. I was once a regular to the Rancho Cucamonga, City of Industry/Rowland Heights, and Tustin locations closed down. I LOVE Pinkberry and I was sooooooooo excited when I saw that this location was still in business in Monrovia. We shared a Large with Toppings ($10.50). Dang you know I like this guy if I'm willing to share my Pinkberry swirl with him. He let me pick the flavors since I have passionate opinions about it. For the frozen yogurt I went with the Original and Pomegranate swirl. For the toppings, I was disappointed they did not have chocolate shavings or chocolate malt balls. I got my usual strawberry and cheesecake. I added granola and blueberries to be relatively healthy in absence of my usual topping preferences. They have a decent amount of tables with benches along the walls and chairs for us to enjoy our sweet treats there. I'll definitely be back. If the boyfriend ever needs to cheer me up or impress me, he just needs to take me here. I'm so easy going. read more

If you love pinkberry, just note that this franchise is subpar. They limit you to only 4 toppings, but they don't state this ANYWHERE on the menu. Your only notice is on the sample cups on the corner of the display, 10 feet from the cash register/line. The way it seems hidden makes this feel deceptive. read more

Stopped by to walk around and craving for frozen yogurt. It was around 2pm, and I was the only customer. Staff was friendly. I picked the original and pomegranate flavors. I can choose up to 4 toppings. I picked almond, strawberries, and blueberries. The original has a sour taste to it, which I am fine with. Pomegranate flavor is very refreshing! It has plenty of street parking available. Will continue to stop by and support local business. read more

So delicious!! A bit pricey (about $6 including tax for just a small cup of original with no toppings) but that is how Pinkberry rolls! The employee and owner were nice. It has a great ambiance for chatting inside. Parking is nearby in a lot down the street. read more

Came to redeem a birthday reward and was told this location doesn't accept them. What a waste of gas. If it isn't honored everywhere then the reward should state "valid only at participating locations", but of course Pinkberry makes you drive all the way over there to find out for yourself. What a way to disappoint someone, and on their birthday too, LOL. read more

the owner is very CHEAP with the yogurt but he is charging a premium price. he keeps raising prices every few weeks or so. today i paid 11 dollars for a medium yogurt that was half full. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out because it looked really good from the posters on the windows. We didn't even check Yelp because we were so excited to try it BUT... lesson learned! Upon entering we were promptly greeted which felt super welcoming but it was still not enough to make me want to stay after looking at their menu. I was only able to stay there because my bf and sister wanted to get something. They had very limited fro-yo options and pretty expensive too. My boyfriend ordered their medium cup with their cookies n cream and chocolate hazelnut fro-yo but we couldn't even tell them apart because they both tasted the same.. also, they were pretty stingy, didn't even fill up the cup and there was a hole in the middle :( they also charge extra for certain toppings like honeycomb and Nutella. Wouldn't recommend this place and don't think I would be coming back again. read more

We bought a couple of ice cream but when my family came in and my daughters brought in their boba inside an empty store, we were told by a female employee that "outside drinks are not allowed". I understand rules but when a store is empty, I think certain exceptions could have been made. Thank you Pinkberry for the experience, we will not be coming back. read more

The store is located in old town Monrovia. You can either find street parking or park in one of the nearby lots. I tried the pomegranite and chocolate hazelnut topped with a honeycomb. I thought the honeycomb was something special (never seen it as a topping at other froyo spots). The flavors were really good - not too sweet and with some tang. Taste was good. It was just on the pricier side for its portion compared to other froyo spots. read more

Pinkberry is quite literally the definition of an oldie but a goodie!! Their frozen yogurt is always creamy and flavorful. We love consistency! My favorite flavors are original (it sounds boring but it really is so good) and mango. I love that you can still get several toppings even if you get a small. Anyway, I am definitely a fan for life. The owners at this location are also so nice! *Don't forget to download their app so that you can earn points with every purchase and eventually get FREE yogurt! read more

Pinkberry has such a refreshing ambiance; the inside is tidy and spacious. You choose the flavor that you want, and they will serve it for you. You can even ask for half and half if you're indecisive about different flavors. The toppings are also presented neatly, and various are people's favorites. We tried the half-original half cookies and cream topped with fresh honey, cheesecake bits, and a waffle. We also tried the hazelnut flavor topped with mochi and chocolate chips. The serving is not overwhelming and is presented beautifully. The staff are friendly and attentive and welcome you once you come in. read more

I came back here because I remembered the stellar service I received at this location a few months ago, nearly 6 months ago. I live in the San Francisco bay area (San Ramon and Moraga, both east of SF) and am back in Azusa to visit family. My Yelp Elite status is for the bay area since it is location based. I'm definitely planning to be a regular here as much as I can, like whenever I'm in Southern California, which is sometimes more often than other times but I plan to come here pretty much every time I drive down. I only live 350 miles away! I'd say I'm around at least twice a year, but I'd hope for 4-5 times a year if possible. I always drive and it is about 6 hours before stops and without traffic. The food quality, such as the yogurt and smoothies, is exactly what I expect from Pinkberry. Better than Yogurtland and Menchie's for sure, and worth the extra money. Since I rarely come to Pinkberry in general (closest one to my house or school is an hour away, while this is 10 minutes from a relative's house), I usually get 3 orders for myself when coming here, which is a bit extreme, but hey, I'm on vacation And I'll always opt for this location since I know the people are friendly. So far I have met the owners, Howard and Cecily. They are really nice and I always tip well because of that even though I usually wouldn't always tip for frozen yogurt (especially self serve, but Pinkberry has never done self serve). Actually, the 3 times I've been to Pinkberry in the year of 2022 have all been at this location only. The yogurt and everything else is definitely up to the standard of quality I expect from Pinkberry, but I find the service exceptional. I noticed that the people here really remember and talk to the customers - not just me, I witnessed a "welcome back" type of deal more than once! I'm surprised that they remembered me after a few months (he was like, "hey you're from NorCal right", since I mentioned both that and my Yelp Elite thing back in January since I was snapping pictures of the place and felt like I should explain myself ). But I guess it's not every day that they get a single person ordering 5-6 items at once and eating half of it immediately (saving the rest to bring to other people)! In short, great place and I will be back, whenever possible! ---------- old review from January: I'm from San Ramon (San Francisco bay area suburb) and I think the nearest Pinkberry is like an hour away, so I pretty much never go when I'm home. I'm staying the week in this area (10 minutes from this location) so I decided to come. It's still good like how I remember it from way back when I used to go more often (5-10 years ago I think, maybe more even). It's not self serve, which I'm pretty sure Pinkberry always was like that. Basically just order a flavor and size and they'll get it and weigh it to a specific amount for you, and do toppings for you. The place is really nice and the service is good. Cashier was friendly. I plan to be back this week, if I have time! The yogurt is a good consistency. A little more expensive than Yogurtland or Menchies but I think it's worth it. read more

I visited this Pinkberry with my service dog, who is legally allowed to accompany me anywhere. The staff didn't mention anything when I was purchasing my order, but when I wanted to sit down, they told me pets were not allowed--even after I informed them my dog is a service animal. This lack of understanding and accommodation for service animals is disappointing and unacceptable. Service dogs are not pets, and businesses should be aware of and comply with the law. What other reviews say is true. Just from one look, you can tell they're pretty cheap. They charge extra if you want another cup to share. They weigh your yogurt. They currently do not accept gift cards or birthday rewards. These things don't really bother me. They aren't the only businesses that act cheap. They don't seem to get much business so I can see why they act like that. The only thing that slightly bothers me is that the store is decorated with bibles and other religious items. I feel that that this kind of advertisement doesn't belong in a business especially when it takes up a lot of the decor. Are you selling frozen yogurt or what? I think it's more or less fine to share your religious belief if it constituted a tiny trinket on a wall but not to this extent. read more

I love frozen yogurt, and when I say I love it, I mean I LOVE frozen yogurt and Pinkberry is no exception to that. You obviously have your other well known joints, but I like how Pinkberry tries to add their own twist to things. The flavors are pretty unique in some ways to what you'd find elsewhere and you can't g wrong with trying to fit as many toppings as you can in a cup. Great place! read more

Pinkberry is my one stop shop for frozen yogurt. I like that they have copious amount of toppings and flavors. Indoor vibe was welcoming. Similarly, it's neat, organized and well lit. Staff were ebullient and very helpful. Also, they were following health protocol such as masking and social distancing. After much needed self deliberation while looking at the menu. I decided what to get. I ordered a medium size cup of pomegranate flavor with fruits, mochi and chocolate chip as toppings. I truly enjoyed my Pinkberry pomegranate yogurt. Pinkberry...why did you have to leave me? Now i gotta drive 30 min. I mean, i will, because you're the best! I like Pinkberry's flavor of yogurt much better than any other froyo place. I think it has something to do with the texture...but no one else compares! I always get original even though i have tried the pom and seasonal flavors which are still good. I also get the chocolate crispies as a topping. This is a luxury topping that they charge by the scoop. I love them so much i always make the staff put more on. Tonight's guy was SO nice and friendly! Very kind. I really appreciated him making us feel welcome. Sadly i didn't get his name. Can't wait to come back!! read more
