Omg the tart original with crunch and blueberry is the perfect combo. The crunch is 1$ extra but definitely worth it.

It was our first time in Old Town Monrovia, and this was our first stop. We were in desperate need of a restroom for my wife. I personally prefer Yogurtland because you can serve yourself, the prices are more affordable, and there's a wider variety of flavors. I wouldn't be rushing back to Pinkberry, but our son did enjoy it, and he's not hard to please as long as there's strawberry in his frozen yogurt. The bathroom had a computer chair, which was unsettling and gave off a creepy vibe.

Mango and cookies and cream. Frozen Yogurt with Toppings

I came here for the first time a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed the place! Yogurt was good and tasted fresh. I don't remember the workers name but she was very helpful and nice! The overall aesthetic of the place was very simple and clean ! Would definitely come again!

Young high school Van dreamed of going on a Pinkberry date. All of the cool kids were going on Pinkberry dates. My dreams came true when my boyfriend took me to Pinkberry BEFORE DINNER. So romanticccccc! So I am a die hard Pinkberry fan! I was so sad when the locations around me started closing down. I was once a regular to the Rancho Cucamonga, City of Industry/Rowland Heights, and Tustin locations closed down. I LOVE Pinkberry and I was sooooooooo excited when I saw that this location was still in business in Monrovia. We shared a Large with Toppings ($10.50). Dang you know I like this guy if I'm willing to share my Pinkberry swirl with him. He let me pick the flavors since I have passionate opinions about it. For the frozen yogurt I went with the Original and Pomegranate swirl. For the toppings, I was disappointed they did not have chocolate shavings or chocolate malt balls. I got my usual strawberry and cheesecake. I added granola and blueberries to be relatively healthy in absence of my usual topping preferences. They have a decent amount of tables with benches along the walls and chairs for us to enjoy our sweet treats there. I'll definitely be back. If the boyfriend ever needs to cheer me up or impress me, he just needs to take me here. I'm so easy going.

Went for a walk down the street of monrovia looking for a yogurt place first time visiting here i love it will come back again.

Doesn't say limit of 4 toppings except in tiny font on cups at the corner of display - impossible to notice from where you line up & pay.

If you love pinkberry, just note that this franchise is subpar. They limit you to only 4 toppings, but they don't state this ANYWHERE on the menu. Your only notice is on the sample cups on the corner of the display, 10 feet from the cash register/line. The way it seems hidden makes this feel deceptive.

Stopped by to walk around and craving for frozen yogurt. It was around 2pm, and I was the only customer. Staff was friendly. I picked the original and pomegranate flavors. I can choose up to 4 toppings. I picked almond, strawberries, and blueberries. The original has a sour taste to it, which I am fine with. Pomegranate flavor is very refreshing! It has plenty of street parking available. Will continue to stop by and support local business.

So delicious!! A bit pricey (about $6 including tax for just a small cup of original with no toppings) but that is how Pinkberry rolls! The employee and owner were nice. It has a great ambiance for chatting inside. Parking is nearby in a lot down the street.

Went for a stroll of downtown Monrovia and decided I needed a sweet treat! It was a nice sunny day so I thought some frozen yogurt would do the trick! Walked in and was greeted warmly. The store itself was immaculately clean! I opted for the traditional tart a few brownies and capt'n crunch ! All of their toppings looked fresh and clean!

So stingy with their yogurt and toppings. Don't go. Get Yogurtland or pick up yogurt at the grocery store nearby.

This place lives up to the hype of new trendy LA ice cream places. I love their motto of "Not too…read moresweet", a phrase that is a high compliment in the Asian-American dessert community. Their flavors are very unique, with yakult and misugaru being some of the stand-outs. They also have fun toppings like mochi and sago! I really liked the service because each staff member was very accommodating and let us try as many flavors as we wanted! They also gave us some stickers to take home :) Loved the late night vibes and all of the fun board games they had laying around for people to play!

During this visit they had condensed milk, mango sago, yakult, black sesame and Vietnamese coffee. The Vietnamese coffee is spot on (I should know I'm a viet girl who gets her viet coffee from time to time). Mango sago was delicious and yakult's flavor was perfect, too! The condensed milk- I couldn't really pick it up flavor wise but I'm thankful for having it along side the viet coffee which balances out the bitterness beautifully. The consistency of the soft serve is impeccable. The topping choices are *chefs kiss*. So Asian, so beautiful. Service was great! They let you try out the flavors before purchase . Luckily they don't have a lot of options so it didn't take forever while waiting in line. I heard they rotate different flavors every week and a half or so. Get ready to come by when the weather gets warm!

The unfortunate part is that the ice cream really isn't that good, and the portions are small for what you pay.  What really turned me off, though, was the lack of common sense from the staff. If you've been here, you know they have a display case with slices of cake and pie. Normally you look through the case and point to the piece you want. That's exactly what I did. There were about ten pieces of cake in the case, and I picked one that had the perfect icing-to-cake ratio. The employee asked what I wanted, and when I pointed to the slice she told me, "You can only pick from these two," while holding up two other pieces. Apparently those were the older slices that they were trying to get rid of. They were clearly smaller and, judging by how they were being pushed, probably not the freshest either. Since I was basically being forced to buy something I didn't want, I said I didn't want anything. She just said "okay" and moved on to help the rest of my family. At that point I told my family we were leaving and heading to Bloomfield Creamery in Altadena instead. The employee had every opportunity to use a little common sense and simply give me the slice I asked for. I work hard for my money, and if I'm paying premium prices, I expect to choose what I'm buying. Instead, they lost Madre family of customers for good.

I tried the lychee and matcha soft serve flavors, and ended up getting the matcha flavor. Those flavors were good, the lychee and matcha were pungent. But the texture of the soft serve wasn't my favorite. The texture wasn't my favorite, it was more of an icy texture as oppose to a creamy silky texture which I would have preferred. I usually like the Oreo topping on my soft serve since it gives it a crunch, but it just didn't taste that good after a few bites. This soft serve was also a bit pricey, it was around $7 for the soft serve and topping, which was a bit disappointing since it wasn't that great. My friend also got their crunchy nut ice cream and didn't like it. I wish I liked this place more since they have Asian flavors but unfortunately it wasn't my favorite. Maybe if they improve the texture of their soft serve, I would reconsider.

We honestly wished it was closed when we tried it this evening. Water based soft served. This is a sorbet not soft serve with dairy. A Sorbet. It wasn't even soft served with creaminess. I don't know how to describe it honestly. The charcoal is citrusy flavored. We got it with a waffle cone that was already leaking in the bottom when the employee handed it to us. Hence why my significant other has napkins on the bottom of the cone. (See photo below) The charcoal is like it's almost as if they put the mixed fruity flavor in the machine but mixed with charcoal powder. The blue cookie. Where is the cookie? WHERE. IS. IT?! Again, another water based almost icy "soft served" that's not soft what so ever. I got it with the bubble waffle and Frosted Flakes as the topping. Did I mention that both the charcoal "soft served" with waffle cone and blue cookie "soft served" with a bubble waffle and Frosted Flakes topping was $21 (we tipped also to help support small businesses but sheesh) as much as I love dessert we didn't finish either of these so called treats because it just wasn't good or what others would say, "it wasn't the vibe." The server was nice she let us try different flavors but we tasted coconut in the choconut ice cream flavor and she said it was hazelnut. Boyfriend and I literally took out pieces of coconut from our taster to prove to each other that there was coconut. Again it wasn't creamy ice cream either. Lack luster ice cream. There's a better ice cream place down the road that's always a line on the weekends.

Second Visit & Still Such a Fun Dessert Spot!…read more This was our second visit here, and once again the service and ambience were very welcoming. It's a smaller dessert spot with about 3-4 tables available, but it gives off a cozy and chill vibe that we really enjoyed. This time we got the half-and-half milk and ube ice cream with taiyakis filled with: * taro * red bean * custard * cheesecake * nutella And honestly... I was really surprised that the cheesecake filling was actually delicious! Creamy, smooth, and definitely something I'd order again. The taiyaki itself was warm with that nice slight crisp on the outside, and paired perfectly with the ice cream. This is in the same tiny plaza as Golden Deli and Bopomofo, so parking can be tough at peak dinner time. The good: the taiyaki texture was nice and crunchy. The ice cream was smooth and not icy. The price is good for amount you get. The bad: the store was extremely cramped and hot. It's a very tiny shop so easily felt packed inside. I was annoyed when they called my order but I was struggling to get through the shop to get my order. By that time the employee had walked away. I was annoyed because when she came back she completely ignored me and handed someone else their order and walked away. I don't understand why they keep the completed orders way behind the counter if they don't even verify the correct person is picking up... after being skipped over twice I finally cut in and interrupted the other employee for my order and she was like oh... sorry it's melted. Like yeah it's been sitting there and I didn't want to go into the employee area to get it! That was really irritating. The ube flavor was bland. It tasted like milk, I did not get any ube flavor. The custard in the taiyaki was just okay. The worst part was that the taiyaki had a really off putting taste on the outside... almost like the aftertaste of margarine or something, it bothered me. Overall the flavor and service was lacking and the experience inside was not good. I was not impressed by any aspect and would not recommend this place unless you were already dining in this plaza and wanted to just walk over.
