My go to 85° bakery! They keep it nice & clean every time I've been in! I love to come in grab a Thai tea with boba or strawberry mango smoothie! They are both delicious (: The baked goods I grab are usually always stocked up & there when I need them! Love the Cheese dog if I'm looking for a quick lunch, Jalapeño cheese, ham & cheese, the blueberry tale & mango tale yummmm! Chocolate chip bowl once in awhile, marble taro, white chocolate strawberry, & the egg tarts! They do run out of NEW or seasonal items quickly! Came here on a Saturday afternoon around 10am. There was a lady who came in with her dog. Now, I know service animals are allowed. However, this dog did not have a service animal tag. Instead, the vest the dog was wearing stated "Best Friend" almost like the owner was trying to trick others into thinking it was a "Service Dog" vest. The dog was walking around the bread and even sniffing the bread. The owner saw and even tried to swat her dog away from some Strawberry Halfmoons that the dog was sniffing. As someone who is allergic to dogs, what if they are the person who touches that bread next? What if the allergy is very severe? I walked around the premises to check if there were signs on the windows/doors talking about no pets, only service dogs. Only one entrance had the signs stating this. The other doors did not. As someone who is allergic to dogs, I do not understand how someone can just bring their pet into an establishment that serves food. The dog even went up to some customers and was sniffing their shoes. I even watched the dog go up to a little girl and try to take her doll. **4/1/26 UPDATE** To Katherine (the business owner): Yes, I know you allow SERVICE DOGS. However, this lady's dog was not wearing a vest stating it was a service dog. Also, I think service dogs know better than to try stealing little girls' dolls. That lady's dog was NOT a service dog. 85 has recently started selling taro rolls--two for $2.40--and they are so good. They're similar to Porto's cheese rolls, but filled with a taro filling instead. I have honestly never seen this anywhere else. Every time I have visited this location, they were sold out, so I was thrilled to finally try them today--and they were absolutely worth it. The front of the store was clean and the line moved reasonably well. I'm only giving this place three stars, because I had to go use the restroom and it was just filthy. The door was stuck and the lock was very difficult to close. The floor was covered with all kinds of stuff, paper stuff, and there were no paper towels. I bought a whole tiramisu cake from this bakery for a friend's birthday since it's his favorite dessert. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The cake had no tiramisu flavor at all, there was no coffee taste whatsoever. The only thing that resembled tiramisu was the cacao powder on top. The white cream tasted old, and the cake itself was dry, which makes me believe it wasn't fresh. The cream didn't taste like mascarpone at all, it was more like buttercream, which completely changed the texture and flavor you would expect from a traditional tiramisu. I've tried a dessert from this bakery before, and while it wasn't amazing, it wasn't bad either. I decided to give them another chance, but sadly this experience was not good. This was our first time at this location, but since we are fan of 85 degrees bakeries, we knew that this wouldn't be a disappointment ordering from here. The parking is actually either below or above where this bakery is located. Then you just walk over to the shop. The set up of pastries is to your left as you enter, which other places are usually to the right, but they have the same pastries you love. Once we selected our delicacies, there wasn't a line to pay. The service to ring up and pay was quick. We noticed a larger room where customers can enjoy their drinks and food ordered. No weekend morning is complete without a stop at one of the iconic 85 degree locations in Sunny SoCal. Although not exclusive to SoCal, 85 has certainly left a mark on the greater SGV where I reside, and I remember grabbing an afterschool snack at this establishment on more than one occasion. A strong showing for the Arcadia location in general, the only complaint being slower restocking of baked goods and cleanliness of the tables on busier days. Regardless, I will be back! read more

It's clean and spacious and they carry pastries, cakes, savory items and coffee drinks. We got a taro filled pastry, a chocolate croissant which was definitely the BEST croissant I have ever had, another pastry filled with delicious cream custard and a croissant with almonds and cream. I love 85C Bakery! Growing up in Arcadia, 85C and JJ Bakery were my top 2 favorite spots to get bread and fresh pastries in the area. I love how they make fresh bread that you can grab and go through a tray, with options such as Vietnamese coffee and Boba to start your day. I love the Matcha Bread as well as the Taro Bread, along with their filling Custard Bread. Overall , 85C continues to remain top notch in terms of its quality and taste. My only complaint is that sometimes, they don't have the pastries I want, simply due to late afternoon hours causing most of the pastries to be taken. read more

Lately I've visited this location more often because it's the only Asian bakery that opens at 7:30am! It's perfect when I wanna pick up some goodies on my way to work so it's very convenient. My favorite is still the butter brioche bread. I just found out recently their delicious Portuguese egg tarts! whoa so creamy and light! It comes in a box of 2, great for sharing...or not! Updated review: glad to see that this 85°C Bakery has managed to stick around. Recently, I visited this bakery with my whole family, and we filled a bag full of all sorts of different pastries, both salty/meaty, and sweet. Unlike most things in Arcadia, the prices here are actually quite reasonable, and while we walked out of here with a $35 bag of stuff, we probably did not need on our diets, it was a much bigger bag than most other places we buy stuff we don't need. So there's that. Parking was a little easier in the structure, just behind the place, especially because we were driving my wife's jeep wrangler, and not my Silverado. Makes a difference. I drop my kid off here every now and again before he takes the short walk to high school, and I'm pretty sure he might be semi-addicted to those sea salt chocolate drinks they make. I guess there's worse things. Glad you're still here, 85° bakery... Hope you stick around a while longer. read more
