They have 6 desks in the middle of the shop. Chairs aren't that comfortable so bring your own seat cushion.

Background On Shop: Starbucks is making locations bigger and upgrading 1,000 stores by the end of 2026 to foster a "third place" environment--a comfortable, welcoming space between home and work that encourages customers to stay longer. Visitation Rights: Been here once, but I can be a repeat patronizer if i'm passing through the area. Background On Visit: Looked really nice in the front when I would drive by in multiple occasions. So two weeks ago, I decided to patronize the shop. Cost Point: Food items/drink items are marked up a bit. A usual tall cup of coffee with a bring your own cup ($0.10 discount) would cost $2.85. Over at this location, it would cost $3.15 with the discount. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Restrooms: They're available. No pin code needed. Location/Parking: Major cross streets are Duarte and Baldwin. It's located diagonal from either the old Burlington Coat Factory parking structure and Vons. There's a location similar to this concept on Rosemead Blvd. and Garvey. Heard from a barista behind the register that it's been closed down. There's parking, but can be filled up really fast. Plus, it's located on a busy street. So drive safe. Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with modern furnishings. Seems like a great place to do work/study. In the center of the shop, they have about 6 desks with a lamp and usb/usb-c outlet to charge your devices. They don't have any 3-prong outlets, but I'm sure you can buy a usb-c/usb to 3-pronged adapter on amazon and bring it to use at the shop. Might have an issue to keep a laptop charged, because insufficient power output with a usb/usbc outlet. Then again, I might be wrong. It's also a great place to loaf around if you like. Service: Service was okay. The barista's were friendly and my coffee didn't take long to get into my hands. Drink Of Choice: Tall pike drip coffee. Coffee taste was consistent to other locations. Starbucks For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back if I want to get some work done/shoot the breeze/get some me time in to re-center before going on with the rest of my day.

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are no hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place has some indoor & outdoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is behind / next to the building. The lot can get full very quickly, so come during an odd hour. Each parking space seems decent. Ambiance: Cozy, upscale, clean, and chill vibes. Staff: I actually wanted to write this post to thank barista, Sofia, for her help today. A patient that I took care of very graciously gave me a Starbucks gift card loaded with $20. I had some problems loading the gift card onto my Starbucks app, and I also had some issues in person with the gift card. Sofia kindly took the time to help me solve this issue. She was very kind, empathetic, understanding, friendly, and helpful. She went above and beyond to help me with my problem when she simply could have just said, "No, we can't help you with this." Thank you again, Sofia, for being so compassionate and understanding. We need more Starbucks employees like her. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

This is by far one of the nicer Starbucks locations it gives you a feeling of nostalgia and it is very loud though so you're not going to be able to have any intimate conversations here frequently see students working and people on their laptops sitting for a long period of time but there's plenty of seating so you should be able to find a seat the parking lot is almost always full and I don't know why everybody always Parks their car backwards in and there's charging stations as well as a drive-thru this building used to be a bank so the ceilings are super tall and the architecture and

I rarely do reviews for corporate places but after a few times of coming to this Starbucks location, I really have to give the staff a shoutout for just being consistently friendly, upbeat, clean and positive. Today specifically, David was the superstar of my day so shoutout to David for being so nice! Been having a few study sessions here to get my head out of my normal environment and to be honest this place can get busy and full a lot of times but if you're willing to wait at peak hours, you'll eventually find a seat. They have a fully loaded pastry bar every time I've passed by and it all looks so enticing. The greenery of the plants inside makes this location so aesthetic. And not to mention the comfortable seating and light ambience. So thankful for this local Starbucks location!

Great place to study, work or hang-out. This is a large Starbucks with lots of individuals desks if you would like to work/study. The interior has high ceiling and is one the largest Starbucks in all of LA. Service was fine and food is standard of what you can expect from a Starbucks. The parking lot offers EV charging and is a decent size. Parking is free.

Simply great Starbucks. They are very quick and drinks come out very well prepared. Love that this locale has an abundance of space and sitting areas. Big Perk There are several "stations" that allow you to set up your laptop and work. Extremely clean and the baristas are quite friendly. Almost seems like a Starbucks Reserve Highly recommend if you're in the area.

New Starbucks just opened and this place is awesome! First I noticed how spacious and suitable it is for people who want to study and do their own thing. They have barstools, comfy chairs, sofas, and single desks! I wish this Starbucks was opened when I was in school. Staff is polite and helpful as well. Will definitely be my go to Starbucks

This 5/5 rating is a comparative to other Starbucks locations. This new location has a large drive thru that is efficiently done with a crew of friendly and quick employees. The interior is expensive with a high end cozy vibe with plenty of lounge chairs for individuals, comfy chairs around tables for larger groups, and even desks with outlets for the students. Truly a Starbucks for everyone. If near the area would highly recommend filing your Starbucks quench at this location.

Came to get a coffee with my wife, she's a veteran, and it was my birthday and Emily and her other lady coworker were so friendly and kind it made our day! Went through the drive thru and went quickly.

This is the most comfortable Starbucks! I really enjoy this new location with drive-thru, vehicle charging and living room comfort. Service is fast with a smile!

On a Saturday afternoon in early August, my sister and I drove by to see if it was opened. It's next to Arcadia post office. Inside interior is very big and comfortable like a library setting. There are study desks, sofa with tables and communal table. It wasn't crowded yet. Nice AC inside. The staff was nice and helpful and monitor shows of list of drinks ready. The ice cafe mocha was 6.45 pricey compared to other Starbucks drive thru. Enough parking too.

The used to be Universal Bank location magically turned into a Starbucks with drive thru. Lots of power and USB charging station located on the side of the seats. Music is slightly louder than I prefer. The skylight brings in the natural light and illuminates the place in any types of weather. Outside comes with two electrical charging stations. It's been years since I ordered coffee from Starbucks, as they masked the coffee flavor with sugary flavors. Came in on Christmas to try their Cortado, which was newly released in early January. It's made with three ristretto shots of Blonde Espresso (a sweeter, richer espresso) and perfectly steamed whole milk, served in an 8oz cup for a balanced, velvety, and subtly sweet coffee drink. You can also customize and substitute the milk with non dairy milk. It's a game changer! You can taste the coffee nuance's notes, balanced by a subtle sweetness and creaminess from the milk. Starbucks, you caught my attention again!

We come for the coffee and stay for the comfortable seating. This store is spacious with high ceilings and modern decor. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Thanks to Annie for her patience. The menu keeps growing. Ramon overheard us talking about Matcha and was kind to offer a taster of the Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. See photo below. My order of the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is a popular flavor for good reason. The parking lot gets full, but there is parking just a short walk on Duarte Rd.

The shop feels very nice and clean with a simple interior design. My top drink is probably the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea, which has an oolong tea base with floral notes and a kick of sweet white peach. I like how creamy and fragrant it is. At 50% sweetness, I feel like there is the perfect balance of sugar, tea, and milk. Another solid drink is the Oops Cheese Matcha Smash, which is easily one of their best sellers. This drink is creamy, rich, and indulgent. The layer of cheese foam deepens the flavor of the matcha, making it extra creamy with an enjoyable contrast. Aside from drinks, there are also some snack food options like popcorn chicken and fries. The savory snacks would pair perfectly alongside the sweet drinks. This is for sure a boba spot I would recommend.

You definitely can taste the rich tea fragrance notes in each of their drinks. So far, I've tried their One Tea Signature blend milk tea and their Orchis oolong tea with coconut cloud. I also especially love their popping barley topping. It's a unique spin to the traditional boba. It's refreshing a fun to eat. We also got their walnut custard cake, which was a nice treat. They are slightly crispy on the outside, yet pleasantly moist on the inside. The custard inside added just the right about of sweetness. To finish each mini cake off, each contain bits of actual walnuts on the inside, which really made this dessert well worth it. The only reason I am knocking off a star is because of their staff. They were not very friendly or communicative. The majority of the time, they really tried to avoid making eye contact with the customers. This makes the experience feel awkward and unwelcoming.

Unfortunate to say, that one of the baristas isn't. She has short hair, glasses, and tattoos. There are 3 instances with her specifically. Not that I want hate on anyone. Maybe they had a bad day, I get it., But her actions otherwise... First instance. Ordered strawberry latte with mochi. We asked to remove the topping. They did, but it messed up the drink itself. Asked to reblend it. I don't think she liked that. If the drink had mochi and there is a specific way to make the drink, she could've said it would just be less of the drink because there isn't mochi. Wouldn't been fine. Different day, ordered the same thing. She refused to not allow removal of the topping. I guess from what happened last time. She wouldn't budge on it. A different day. Ordered 4 of the bogo. Only 1 party in front of me that ordered. After I ordered, another party ordered after. The location isn't busy. Both got it before I did. The cashier asked if I was still waiting. I said yes and showered my receipt. The barista came out. Looked at the kiosk and did some tattoos and went to the back. Mentioned they are going to check and working on it. After giving my drinks, she said it was because they were brewing the tea. If it's a bogo, normally that tea should be ready since it was offered the whole week. I don't know. It seems a bit deliberate for those who ordered with adjustments. Considering they didn't even bother to mention they were brewing more tea knowing I was waiting. Technically the store would be saving money if we don't order with toppings so I'm not sure what the issue is with this person and tonight considering another review also mentioned a barista who laughed at them for ordering more in front of them. I come to a conclusion there may be something with this person. I understand bad days and hate to think otherwise.
