Decent ice cream that is a bit overpriced in my opinion. The Superman blizzard tasted good. I love how they always flip the blizzard cup upside down to show it does not fall out. This location has ice cream, hot dogs, and drinks. The staff are friendly.

Orange Julius

Orange Julius.. It's a refreshing creamsicle in a cup you can drink through a straw. The group wanted some ice cream cones.. DQ to the rescue! The vanilla cone dipped in chocolate is the fan classic. I opted for the orange Julius. Always reminds me of high school walking around the mall. Haven't had one in years and it still has that creamy orange flavor. Tap to pay is convenient. Service was fast and we had our goodies in no time! kiosk located on the second floor next to golds gym and forever 21.

The Orange Julius is a drink I remember drinking as a kid anytime my parents would buy it for us which wasn't often. It was a sweet treat to enjoy every once in awhile. With that being said, I'm very nostalgic about Orange Julius. I remember as kid every mall had Orange Julius went away and was never to be heard from, but that was true according to online. Dairy Queen has owned Orange Julius since 1987. By 2018, all stand alone independent Orange Julius shops were closed. Orange Julius is now available at all 5,400 Dairy Queen locations. I only knew that Dairy Queen offered Orange Julius was because of the sign saying Dairy Queen and Orange Julius. The Orange Julius was very similar to how I remember it and it was quite tasty, but there was a bit of a strange after taste that kind of turned me off. It was still a nice feeling to be able to try Orange Julius after all these years. I'm not in a rush to get an Orange Julius again anytime soon, but anytime I want to relive my childhood I will have to get another Orange Julius.

The kiosk is located inside the Arcadia mall. I got the Original orange julius and a chocolate dipped cone. It's been years, perhaos even a decade since I last had this. Loved it as a kid. Still sooo good. Staff was pleasant. Speedy service.

Stopped by on Sunday, 07/16/23. Located inside the Westfield Santa Anita mall (Arcadia Mall). This was actually my first time trying Dairy Queen surpringly. Got the Oreo Cookie blizzard (small) which totaled to around $7 with tax. Honestly it just tastes like ice cream you would typically get at the grocery store - nothing too special at all; for $7 this place not worth the price.

Did you know there are only 2 locations of Dairy Queen in Southern California? This is one of them. Literally a hidden gem in the mall. Vanilla cones are a must. With or without chocolate dip. It's actually the only thing I've tried here... that needs to change. Will continue coming here for a quick ice cream dessert no matter what the weather.

Peanut buster parfait

Went to Dairy Queen and got this very sad peanut buster parfait. I had to ask for more than one string of hot fudge. Comparing the two photos, they shorted it 1/3 of the ice cream it should have

regular size - chocolate dipped cone!

This was my first time patronizing this Dairy Queen since it moved to the top floor of Santa Anita mall! It used to be located in the food court area, but now it's across from Peet's Coffee. Due to Covid, Westfield Santa Anita currently has a no eating/drinking inside the mall policy. As a result, Dairy Queen prepares all the orders to go. There was a deal on the DQ app for a $1 regular chocolate dipped ice cream cone that was too goo to resist! After doing a couple of pickups in the mall, I dropped by to redeem the deal. There wasn't too long of a line, and the employee quickly prepared the cone. I loved that they inverted a plastic cup on top to allow for ease in carrying until I stepped outside the mall. Overall, I appreciate the precautions that they're taking during Covid and would definitely return to this location, since chocolate dipped cones are hard to find these days!

I ordered the S'mores blizzard and it was super good. Dairy queen is famous for its unique flavors and expensive pricing. I was attended by a young asian man, I am not a fan of describing people by race but he deserves recognition. He attended my family with just positive attitude and was so patient despite the chaotic line and numerous orders. The other girl working was so rude. She kind of pushed us away from the ordering line when we were planning on ordering something else last minute so we didn't bother to order anything more than a s'mores blizzard. She lacks providing customer service. I am a young adult too and believe me as hard as customers can be it is never their fault for how your day is going.

Tonight we decided to switch things up a little, and hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Normally we prefer the quarter-pound patty, but this one was slightly thicker, which definitely made us feel full a lot quicker. That said, the burger was still super juicy, had the right filling-to-meat ratio, and came on that perfectly soft bun that holds everything together without falling apart. Solid choice. I stuck with my usual chicken breast salad, and it was delicious as always. Fresh, satisfying, and dependable -- although I'll admit I'm still not a fan of bell peppers, so those got politely pushed to the side. One thing I have noticed over time is that the fries seem to be getting a little smaller in portion each visit. I also miss the thicker-cut fries from about six months ago -- those were my favorite. The current ones still do the job, but the old style definitely had my heart. Overall, this is still a definite must-try spot if you're craving a good burger. Consistent, satisfying, and always hits the spot. Happy eats!

Soonheene actually started in Seoul's famous Gwangjang Market where they were known for their pancakes, so I was excited to check it out. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Esther (the owner) and her daughter. They both went out of their way to explain the menu and answer all my questions with genuine smiles. That kind of hospitality really sets the tone for a meal. We ordered the Pork Mungbean Pancake, Rose Tteokbokki (creamy rice cakes with fish cake and sausage), Bibim-Naengmyeon (spicy cold buckwheat noodles), and a whole fried chicken split into two flavors. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasty. For half the chicken, I went with the original but added green onion and their special oriental sauce drizzle. The other half was spicy soy garlic. I'll admit, I liked the original better. I second-guessed myself when the owner's daughter mentioned soy garlic was their number one most popular flavor followed by honey butter, but I thought I would be different and try the spicy version. The spice kind of drowned out that garlicky soy flavor, so lesson learned. Next time I am going straight for the soy garlic and honey butter combo. For drinks, we tried the Korean coffee and cold yuzu drink, both refreshing and a nice complement to the food. By the end of the meal, everything was so good that I even found myself asking about catering their chicken for future events. The vibe inside is really comfortable with soft K-pop playing in the background. It is just enough for atmosphere but not too loud, so you can talk easily. The only tricky part is parking since it is in a busy plaza with a lot of other restaurants, but at least it is free. Overall, this was one of the most unique dining experiences we have had recently, made extra special by Esther and her daughter's hospitality. I love supporting family-owned spots like this, and I will definitely be back to try that famous soy garlic and honey butter chicken next time.

I can't say enough great things on their world class staff, exceptional service, and amazing foods + drinks. This establishment brings it every day! My most recent visit was full of spicy and sweet surprises. The young gentleman behind the register was super friendly and helpful. He offered shake fries on the house so I can try them. Thank you! I forgot to order a drink. The young lady behind the counter said she got me covered. I got a bottled orange drink on the house. Thank you! Wow, now that's generous hospitality. I got 3 chicken wings that came with one toast and some pickles plus the shake fries. Wings were lightly fried with perfect crispness. Mild spice was still spicy, but manageable good spice. Bread was good, but it would have been nice if it was lightly toasted. Pickles were delightful. It was indeed one tasty lunch. Howlin' Ray's, you're the best! The service i have mixed opinions. Most all of the employees are friendly. Maybe too friendly. Part of the reason for their long line would be the talkative cashiers. There is a way to chat up the customer while still keeping things moving along, but I've not seen it once while there; the chicken is that good that I put up with my least favorite thing at a restaurant--unnecessary conversation that adds to the wait time. The ambiance is also not my favorite. It's too loud in there. The music could be a touch lower--I'm there to eat, not be at the club--and the top notch cooks in the back yell a lot. I will say that the yelling appears to keep them upbeat, positive, and motivated; I see the value in it, yet it's the reason I get delicious chicken to go. They have a clean bathroom, a parking lot in back, and some of the best chicken in the Greater Los Angeles area. My mouth waters when I even begin to think about going there. Also, I believe the times to avoid the long waits would be weekdays until about 3 PM ish.
