Taking a bite of my cin-a-bitz brings me back to my high school days when I would spend my time at the mall. I was impressed with the level of covid safety precautions this location and their staff were taking. Everyone was wearing face masks, gloves, and hairnets. They even handled the pretzels with tongs. It made me feel really safe against covid. My cin-a-bitz was a little under. More chewy than I expected. Original lemonade deliciously refreshing as always. Wife got her dog bites with cheese. Her dog bites were a little under as well. Service was great, I was greeted with a smile and they happily took my order. The place was pretty clean, I didn't notice anything out of order. If there was anything interesting with this wetzel's pretzel is that it's not in the mall-- it's located inside a Walmart. I will be coming back the next time I get a craving.

Located inside Walmart, it's very convenient especially if you're hungry from shopping and subway is not quite calling your name. So far the ladies at the counter have been nice and friendly, mind you I've been to this location three times now and all of them after 10 PM and they still have a sunny disposition. I have a sweet tooth so I prefer the cinnamon sugar and almond. As if I don't get enough sugar rush I still love to dunk these soft and chewy goodness in their caramel dip. Um, um good. I tried their pizza flavor as well as the pretzel dog, I found them too salty. Maybe next time I'll get the plain pretzel with a mustard dip. Anytime I'm at Walmart I try not to give in to the little voice inside my head, but oftentimes it's a losing battle. Oh, if you're not sure what flavor to get, sometimes they have someone passing out free samples. Hope you're lucky.

I'm only basing this review on how my pretzel tasted. The service and the convenience of this wetzel pretzel is great (because its inside of a huge walmart), but their almond pretzel is so gross! :( I'm sorry to say but Auntie Anne's totally takes the trophy for best almond pretzel. Wetzels has like extremely small powdered almonds on their pretzel that did not taste like almonds at all. Auntie Anne's on the other hand has huge chunks of almonds that are clearly glazed on to the pretzel. The powdered almonds of Wetzel's were coming off so easily when I tried to eat it; it seemed like I was just eating a plain pretzel because the almonds were falling off. If I could write this review for every single Wetzel Pretzel, since I'm assuming all of the pretzels are going to taste the same, then I would. I just happened to go to this one to try it for the first time, sorry!

This is a tough review to write. Congregation Ale House was THE place to go before Covid. Amazing…read morebeers, delicious food, a cool hybrid restaurant setup, attentive staff with cool uniforms. The place was the sh*t. I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House

I am far from a connoisseur but let's give it a shot. Tried the Stereo instruction and it was light and refreshing. Next was Blue Raspberry spritzer also very light more like jolly rancher vibe, next was The couch Crusher very tasty light beer similar to a Michelob Ultra vibe, I sampled (yes free Samples) The Hopodouken and woah not for me it's a heavy hops earthy flavor beer. Acquired taste if you ask me. Finally my favorite was The Triple Jam. Slightly sweet and light goes down smooth. It was packed Sunday Playoff game. Seating was limited. Very staff was on it, service was excellent. Didnt get to try the pizza shop connected to the bar. Maybe next time. The vibes are excellent. Can't wait to be back.

As I pulled up to the parking lot, I noticed they had an outdoor seating area, which is really nice on hot days. It looked like a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink in the evening. When I went inside, I immediately liked the camping and outdoor vibes. The whole place has that rustic, lodge-style feel that makes it stand out. They had a bunch of pinball machines, which was a fun surprise, and there were murals all around the walls -- including ones of Lakers legend Kobe and the LA Dodgers. It definitely gives off strong local pride and a laid-back atmosphere. The inside is very spacious, with plenty of room to move around and a lot of TV screens, making it a solid spot to catch a game. I could easily see myself coming back to watch a Dodgers game there. That said, my experience at the bar wasn't the best. When I stepped into line to order, it seemed like the two beertenders were a bit distracted. There was a group of ladies sitting at the bar, and it felt like they were getting most of the attention. Usually, beertenders are welcoming and might ask something like, "Is this your first time here?" but the guy with the long mustache who served me gave off more of a "What do you want?" vibe. I asked for a taster, and he did provide one, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask to try anything else. At other breweries, I usually feel encouraged to explore the menu a bit more. Instead, I just winged it and ordered the Pink Lemonade Seltzer. It was okay, but compared to a lot of seltzers out there now, it wasn't very flavorful. It almost had a slight medicine-like taste. Because I didn't really feel the love from the beertenders, I ended up having just one drink and heading out. The space itself has a lot going for it -- great theme, fun games, plenty of TVs, and nice outdoor seating -- but I definitely think there's room for improvement in the customer service department. I might give it another try in the future, especially to catch a Dodgers game, but I'm hoping for a warmer, more welcoming experience next time.
