I rarely eat fast food but I needed something quick. Burger was perfectly made. Fries were good too.

I think the Wendy's review is pretty much the same as a McDonald's review. Same type menu, different setting and tweaks. Wendy's also has a business plan that is virtually flawless. Besides the fact that I love all their food, I love that it's prepared quickly and efficiently. The staff I have always encountered at this location has been nothing less than courteous, friendly and attentive-helpful. It's very busy since their location is tied to a gas station off Northern Blvd and Glen Cove Rd. This is a very busy area. This location was a little smaller than I'm used to on Long Island bit that certainly did not slow down the flow of cars through the drive through and the amount of people coming through the doors. These new stores are built for the drive through more than the internal diner. The location, while small is all windows and very bright. The restaurant was very clean. The person behind the counter greeted me with a big hello and was very pleasant and courteous. I can only imagine how overwhelming it can be when you're that busy and the team is preparing food as fast as they can. These reviews don't change much from location to location and I would not expect it to. Everyone does their job and follows the procedures... This always makes for a pleasurable experience. Ordered an apple pecan salad, got a stomach virus and threw up at least 6 times within 2 days. I don't think they washed the lettuce and the chicken smelled really bad. Would not recommend coming here for your own sake. read more

I've always really liked this Wendy's. They have a side seating area that just feels comfy. Drawbacks are that there is no drive through. Also, late at night you will often see sketchy characters in the front seating area. read more

Oh good gosh was this place awful. My order was not complicated but it sure was yucky. How do you mess up a baked potato.....serve it to a customer not hot, I mean so not hot that the non-butter that they serve you would not even melt any more. The next less than warm item was the "maybe chicken" nuggets. Ok, 2 out of 3 so far were really bad. Next.....small chili. Oh sweet fires of hell. I know why the nuggets and baked potato were cold. They were using all the electricity to heat the boiling cauldron of chili farts to come. This stuff should have some sort of warning on it. When I took the lid off I swear the steam reached the ceiling. The nice thing about having your own hot pot of chili is that you can dunk your cold nuggets into it for warming. I also opted to add my cold baked potato to the bowl of eternal hotness. If you get your chili to go, its nice to know you could drive 100 miles and the chili would still be hot....and your other items would still be cold. The 2 stars is because the food was horrid but the inside eating area was clean. This location does not have a drive thru. I would probably recommend skipping here and going to the Burger King next door. read more

My husband and I just stopped by the Wendy's at 18 Glen Cove Road in Greenvale, NY at about 11pm tonight. We had worked a long day and just wanted a fast, fresh, good meal. We walked in and immediately were struck by the dirty table, chipping paint, and overall dingy appearance. Regardless we placed an order and I asked where the restrooms were. I was directed around the corner. I walked over to the door, opened it, and walked right back out. I have never smelled a worse bathroom in my life. And that includes the bathrooms in the subway in the city. I should have walked out right then. I told my husband I would gladly hold it for the hour drive home than use that bathroom. But our food came so we chose the least despicable table and sat down to eat. The fries were not fresh or hot at all. The burgers tasted like they had been reheated. All of a sudden I take a bite and something pulls out of the burger with my bite and feels hard and weird. So I pull it out of my mouth and nearly vomit on the table as this long plastic netting type thing (pictured here) comes out of my mouth. My husband and I simultaneously picked up our trays, threw out everything, and walked out in disgust. I will never eat at Wendy's again and someone needs to get down from corporate and find out what the hell is going on in that place. It's despicable. read more

Its a good wendys. Fast food means fairly fast service with good prices. Check and check! I love this wendys. It runs very smoothly and i've never had an issue. I like wendys in general due to it being one step up from other fast food joints. Quality here has always been great. They have a fantastic value meal section with plenty of options. Fries, burgers and chicken wraps are my usual. They're also always have some sort of new thing, like a type of baked potato or specialty burger. Also can't leave wendys without a frosty :) There is a good amount of parking here. Never an issue finding a spot. Also this fast food restaurant is very clean and well stocked. Plenty of clean seating, all the furnishings look taken care of. Plenty of napkins and condiments always available. Always a win, wendys is my favorite quick bite to eat. I come here for fries and frosties. Fries are always made fresh and super hot! Never had old fries here. This Wendy's does not have a drive thru and sometimes there is a wait, but will keep coming as long as the fries are great. read more

Had to grab a quick dinner with the family so we stopped at Wendy's. The food was fine, standard for the chain. No complaints with the service either. However, the restaurant itself is in dire need of a makeover. Everything is old from the floors to the furniture and the bathroom smells terrible! There are so many other fast food restaurants to go to that are modern, clean. I'd probably only stop here again to pick up take out. You'll need to park though, this location is lacking a drive through. read more

The last 2 times we've been here they barricated us in the dining area near the windows. It was 9:30pm. The only way out was to squeeze our bodies through the big menu boards. That was in December. Last night that section was closed so the only place to sit was the section near the bathroom. Again at 9:30pm, the big guy not only blocked the exit with the menu boards but he also stacked chairs where the board didn't cover. There were three tables still with customers. What in the world are they thinking? I should have recorded it on my cell. The ONLY reason we stay quiet is because they are all big guys, with NO customer service skills. When ordering, we feel like we are disturbing their lives. Next time I WILL record them and speak out. And I will post the outcome of the confrontation. read more

if I could give less than 1 star I would all I can say is I would rather drive 30 min out of the way then go to the glen cove road location again. when I got back to my job I looked in my bag and saw that they had made a mistake and given me 2 fries and no sandwich on accident. so I went back and said hi there was a problem with my order I had received 2 fires instead of fries and my sandwich and I showed her inside the bag. then she says ok we'll remake it, 10 min later they're still talking about it and I have no sandwich so I guess the girl making the food didn't believe me since she said she remembers making it so I show her inside the bag (since I work in fast food I know your not supposed to take back the order once the customer leaves the property) then she takes the bag out of my hand and into the back. so I ask for a refund since now I am late getting back to work and they were clearly pissed off with me. I go into the store for my refund and the gentleman in front of me was having a problem with his order as well. I had left with no food on my lunch break and yes I'm very upset about the way the staff/ manager handled the situation. All I can say is save yourself the time and headache. read more

This area in Glen Cove has a lot of fast food joints. This Wendy's is alright. Customer service is really slow. I usually just come to Wendy's for their frosty and fries (oh you know what I'm talking about!). Their bacon cheeseburgers are getting crappier and crappier. Most fast food burgers look disgusting in real life. It looks nothing compared to what they present in their commercials. The bread is always flat and soggy, meat patties are always usually dry and bland, and the lettuce never looks as green as they do in ads. I have to defend this Wendy's a little bit. It was the best "evil" option just a arms length away from my job. The girls behind the counter always filled my frosty cup and fry box up, and for that I am grateful. I will admit that the lack of a drive-thru sucks, especially when I wanted a snack after work, but it was really for my own good. It's actually very clean since you can see behind the counter, and it looks like they're trying to remodel, so give this place a go if you're pressed for time in the area. read more

This was the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. The dining area was filthy, service was slow, the food was mediocre and they messed up the order. Used the restroom and it was horrendous. Disgusting. a typical wendys in greenvale ny that's near tjmaxx that's part of an outdoor mall. nice and spacious inside but drive thru is packed so i keep it simple and order at counter and it's empty inside . the usual wendys menu including the welfare 4 for 4 bucks deal but i prefer a vanilla frosty with a baked potato plain with a small chili and yes booth seating along with table seating . the girl who took my order had a heavy spanish accent and i had to order slowly but her beauty made it worth it. i try to avoid beef but the wendys burger are fresher then mcdonald's and the spoons, forks, knives are each plastic wrapped for sanitary reasons and that's a very good reason . folks its your typical wendys on long island and that's good enough for me. read more
