I've been to Baci next door several times and never realized this restaurant was where it was! There is a free smallish parking lot in front as the lot is shared with the other stores in the strip mall that it's located in. I arrived around 12:45pm and was lucky enough to find ONE spot remaining. When I left around 2:45pm, there were a lot more available spots. Upon entering, I just sat where my friend was sitting. It looks like you can pick anywhere to sit and eventually someone will come over to take your order. All the wait staff were very nice and patient with us, as I was indecisive with what I wanted to order; everything looked so good! To order, there was a QR code on the table that you can scan and then browse the menu on your phone. A bit random but I really appreciated the bag hooks that were on the side of the table! I ended up ordering a Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla and my friend ordered a Regular Margarita and a Carne Asada Burrito. We were both very happy with our choices! Flavorful and fresh, my quesadilla was the perfect size and my friends burrito was pretty filling that she had to pack the rest to go. There is also a clean and spacious bathroom in the back if needed. Credit cards are accepted and they can split the bill if needed. We will be returning!

The carne asada taco was good especially with adding the free green sauce. The shrimp taco was fairly good too. The small chips and guac were good and fresh and didn't have tomato, though you can't customize the spice level. The service was friendly but slow. Overall enjoyable Mexican spot especially if watching the bottom line compared to other Mexican spots nearby.

However, I didn't really enjoy my other tacos I ordered. The sauce was often too much to the point that the taco was soggy which is a big turnoff for me. I also didn't like the carne asada taco when I almost always do because I didn't like the green sauce when I almost always do at other Mexican places. The guacamole also appears to be premade, in that we couldn't order it without tomatoes and we couldn't customize how spicy it was. It wasn't bad tasting though, just tasted like something I'd get at the grocery store. Overall good drinks spot! And a good black bean taco. Would pass on any of the other food I tried there though.

It was the perfect balance of comfort (sun protection!) and fun atmosphere. The service was timely, friendly, and super helpful in narrowing down the large menu to what I'd enjoy most. As for the food, all of the tacos were both delicious and reasonably priced. My personal favorites were the Jamaican jerk and the Korean short rib tacos. They're both packed with flavor and spice. My favorite drinks are the Cocojito and the Asian Pear. Perfectly balanced and not overly strong or sweet. This is not the type of restaurant where you can have just one with your meal...you'll want to try them all! I could only order appetizers here and be satisfied. There is such a wide variety of apps with american and asian influence and they're all so tasty. I love the loaded totchos, asian style nachos, and habanero ribs. Make sure you don't overdo it with these, you'll want room for as many tacos as possible! The tacos! The stars of the show! You really can't go wrong (unless you're bad at tolerating spice...then choose wisely). I love the bang bang shrimp taco, birria, and southern comfort taco. I would never order more than 3 tacos for a main unless you skipped apps and are ok with getting a to-go container! For dessert I'd recommend the tres leches or mexi cannoli, you're not really missing out on much with the other options. But who says one more marg doesn't count as dessert ;)

However, when I called the store, I was able to get a reservation right away. I expected it to be packed, but when we arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, there was only one person in the dining area and two at the bar. We ordered a Corona, a lemonade, an apple juice, and a coconut margarita. The margarita was very small for the price and didn't have much coconut flavor. For dinner, we had the fajitas, a steak bowl, three cheese quesadilla for the kids, and the chorizo-loaded fries. The fries were the only thing I actually enjoyed. The fajitas and steak bowl lacked authentic flavor, and for $50, the platter only had three shrimp and a few pieces of steak and chicken buried under a huge pile of peppers and onions. To top it off, we waited 10 minutes for the churros after asking to sing 'Happy Birthday' to my daughter. For $250, this experience was definitely not worth it, and we won't be returning.

I tried the 3-taco combo with the mango lemonade and queso, and for $12 on Uber Eats (deal running through June 30), it's hard to beat. You can mix it up with fries, sweet corn, or queso plus a drink, which makes it feel like a steal given the portions and quality. The tacos themselves are solid, but the queso really steals the show--easily my favorite part of the meal. Everything is fresh, filling, and perfect for a quick post-work bite. Drink options are great too; while the mango lemonade was refreshing, the strawberry lemonade is definitely my top pick so far. Affordable, tasty, and convenient--Tony's is doing it right.

If you read my review of the Franklin Square store you'll see that I was blown away by the quality, freshness & flavors. Sadly that was not the case on this visit. Ordered ahead through the app, showed up about 2 minutes after the time they said it would be ready and was told they were just bagging it up - no big deal. This took about 5 more minutes but allowed me a window into what was going on as I waited. The young man behind the counter while seemingly attentive also didn't appear to care very much. I ordered a large watermelon juice and saw one sitting on the counter but wondered if it was mine as it appeared to be a small. The young man behind the counter must have realized this and grabbed it alongside a large cup. Unfortunately, his way of "correcting" this was to just dump more ice in the cup, not any juice on top of what was in the small. Now I'm already feeling a little cheated. Everything was bagged up & stapled shut before being handed over. Trusting that it was how it should be I carried the bag out and went on my way. Unfortunately I was foolish to do so - no straw, utensils or napkins to be found. Having to scrounge for a straw as well as a spoon for the street corn when I got back to work was incredibly frustrating. On to the food - here's the rundown: Street Corn - taste was there just like the last time but temperature wise it was way off. Why one store sends it out piping hot and another lukewarm is beyond me Funghi Quesadilla - I was such a fan of this from the FS store, perfectly cooked and still piping hot. Here at FP it came not so hot and the veggies inside nowhere near the level of caramelization I got the first time around. Felt phoned in Milanese Taco - good but not great. Balsamic was a nice touch, probably the best thing I got this time around. Shrimp Mango Taco - rice was ok but felt out of place. Shrimp were tasty but the mango was incredibly bland, probably underripe. Disappointing to say the least Cauliflower Explosion Taco - veggies underdone just like the quesadilla. Lots of potential if properly executed but this one fell flat Maybe they had an off day, I don't know. Either way it's pretty sad that I suddenly shifted from a top notch experience to mediocre and no need to come back. Maybe I'd try again but at this location I'd be incredibly hesitant. Worth the extra few miles drive to go back to FS honestly.
