I'm not sure why this place has such low rating because I had a really good experience here. The ambiance is super cute. It def give Tulum vibes. They a few good selection of tequila to choose from. The entire staff are friendly. My fav items from the menu were the shrimp taco and the cauliflower taco. After 3 and a half tacos i was full. My bartender Nick made a really good pineapple margarita drink, 10/10, not too strong not too sweet. I recommend and will be back !

This used to be an old Friendly's on Jericho turnpike. Lots of space and a very cool Vibe being changed to a taco spot. The options for tacos are fantastic and drinks are even better. Great for a date night or with a small group. The taco platter is a great deal with 8 tacos. Elote was good but a bit overpriced to have only one corn. Fried yuca is delicious!

Went here during Valentine's Day but went during the brunch time. The staff was so sweet and attentive. Everybody was very helpful and kind they were setting up for their Valentine's dinner which included some balloon decorations. There was even an option to purchase a game or something which was a nice Twist on a regular dinner. My husband and I shared a taco platter which had eight different tacos and we tried a whole bunch. I would highly recommend it. My daughter had pancakes that looked absolutely delicious but they had a lemon zest twist. I will be back again maybe for a dinner.

Stopped in for dinner, and started with the black cherry margarita and a glass of white sangria, both of which were tasty. The guacamole was delicious and the cucumbers and radishes were a nice touch as well. I had the chicken skillet tacos, and was amazed with the sheer quantity of chicken provided and all of the delicious sides. My dining partner had the birria quesadilla, and found it to be a bit too heavily smoky for her taste - but luckily my chicken tacos had so much come with them she was able to have enough of my dish to satisfy her appetite. All in all, a solid Mexican spot!

Big portions of guac & chips. Fried yucca was delicious. Tacos are flavorful. Drinks are great!

Been here three or four times in the past two years. I absolutely love the vibe and ambiance here. The indoor and outdoor dining areas are wonderful. The servers are knowledgeable and helpful. The food is amazing except for the weird tasting buffalo cauliflower tacos, but other than that I haven't had an issue. This place is on the pricier side and would be great for date nights and birthdays. Solo lunch works fine too. Sometimes they have events as well. Will definitely be back! Happy eats!

Tried this place the other day. I arrived at just the right time. The place did not have that many customers. Maybe 3-4 tables tops. About 15-20mins half the place filled up. Just wanted to grab a drink and a little dinner. Picked up the guac & chips, shrimp ceviche, and a beef quesadilla. Plus 2 $10 margaritas. Guac was ok but I had way better. The server suggested the ceviche and I was sadly disappointed. The quesadilla was ok but nothing worth getting again. I did like the margaritas. Service was fine. My 2nd drink took a while to get to me. The bill on here was surprisingly pretty high for what I got. With tip it came out to $90. Geez yes, not a place I'd visit again

So super cute spot. Decorated for those selfies. Vibes are great music selection was on point there literally something for everyone and it flowed so smooth. Not too loud where you couldn't hear your company but you find yourself randomly dancing to the music. As for the food it was bit lacking from my opinion. I ordered off the lunch menu. I got the crunch wrap and the so graciously made it with chicken for me , but it was totally lacking flavor if it wasn't for the hot sauce and cream verde I asked for it would of been super bland. It did not meet my expectations. The fries it came with were tasty. We got the stuffed churros to share. Not sure what it was filled with it just seemed like a churro without an empty center. It was decent but didn't have any cinnamon and sugar on it. The sauces made it good though. Staff were very nice just my dish was lacking.

This was my first time at Tulum and had a wonderful experience there. The food was delicious everything was fresh and full of flavor. We started with drinks Margaritas, Palomas, and Sangrias, all were super tasty and well made. For appetizers, we shared the Kale Caesar salad and guacamole with chips, both of which were excellent. For our main course, we had the surf and turf taco, the fried chicken tacos, and the steak tacos. Each dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Our waiter was fantastic he was kind, patient, and incredibly attentive. One of my friends has a gluten allergy, and he took extra care to ensure her meal was completely safe. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and checked in with us regularly throughout the evening. The atmosphere was a vibe and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Perfect for a date night or a group of friends night out! Def will be returning.

Saturday lunch at Tulum Tacos and Tequila was very satisfying. Located right across from Jericho Terrace, you'll find this vibrant Taco spot. We sat down immediately upon arrival and was greeted by our waiter who was very helpful in suggesting their most ordered marg and tacos he likes. He also told us about their special for the day and drinks that weren't listed on the menu. My friend and I went with the guava and passion fruit margaritas and ordered the Taco platter, which comes with 8 tacos of your choice. This was the best bet since the 3 Taco option is only limited to one choice. I tried the birria, smashed meatball, carnitas, and fried chicken tacos. I can't put my finger on which was my favorite, but my least fav was the fried chicken. It could have been more flavorful. Lastly, don't leave without getting dessert. I recommend the churros and twinkie tres leches. So good!

Every review in my hometown I have to mention how bad of a local I am lol. It took me way to long to come here! I remember when it was Friendlys we'd come here after dances omg, I'm old. Anyway this place is now absolutely gorgeous and absolutely delicious. I really hope they do well and last a long time. I'd highly recommend going here if in the area or not in the area :)

3.5 stars The 8-taco platter price could definitely be lowered. For the size of the two-bite tacos, charging anything over $5 per taco feels like a price gouge. I did appreciate the ability to pick a variety. The birria was a standout, skip the mushroom -- I didn't even finish it, and the bland Baja fish taco The sides were also disappointing. The pickled veggies and rice came in portions that were thimble-sized. considering how inexpensive beans are, a larger side dish for an 8-taco platter isn't too much to ask. The passionfruit margarita was good, the service was attentive and parking was convenient with both a lot and street parking nearby.

Based on the reviews I was super excited to try this spot. The decor is very cute and chic, very Tulum, right on point. The bartender and waitress were great. The drinks were flavorful, the food not so much. The guac is probably not homemade since they can't make it to taste. The tacos lacked flavor and were not good at all. We had the flan and it also fell short.

We were greeted by Adam and told to sit where we'd like. I want to point out that Adam is pleasant and shows commitment to customer service. However I can't say that we had the best experience. We were seated 10-15 minutes before our order was taken. We placed the food and drink order together as we had plenty of time to decide. We waited forty minutes to get 5 tacos. The small basket of fries came around twenty minutes before the tacos. They were clearly understaffed for the day. Back to Adam. Good guy but he was clearly under the weather. Sniffling repeatedly while attempting to attend to customers. He should have been relegated to custodial duties and limited customer interaction. At a minimum wear a mask as he was talking directly to customers and delivering food to the tables. The tacos were good. We tried the Korean beef bbq, chicken Al pastor, Baja fish, Surf and Turf and the Falafel. Not great but tasty. Fries were good as well. I think the chicken Al pastor was the best. Not ruling them out but uncertain about a return.

For my order I went with a trio of tacos - al pastor, coconut shrimp (both of these were listed as signature items) and the crispy fish. Glad they have hot sauces on the table to bring need heat. I got a side salad with this - I would say this is bit of afterthought lettuce with 3 pieces of cucumber and tomato each there wasn't much to it. I tried the Carne Asada bowl - again a bit on the sweet side, but they give a good amount of food. They use a cheese blend and I think one of them is a parmesan because it tasted a bit out of place.
