Who wants chipotle when you can get 3 times the size for the same price and it taste better as well. I cant wait to try more of the selection from this place. We came here after a visit to jones beach which was only a few minutes away. Definitely recommend!!! Service was also excellent. Can you please open a location in queens.
A neighborhood place we visited while in Freeport, Long Island. Place has a ton of options to pick from amd the portions are big so be mindful that two may be able to eat from one order. Street parking; very small area to dine in which is off to the side. You can see the kitchen making all the dishes behind the counter where they are packing all the food that is coming out.
A great spot if you want to get your moneys worth!! Stopped in around 1pm on a Thursday, and it was already happy hour! That means BOGO margaritas, I had the tropical margarita which was very good, and only $11!! Then I had the Fat Mamacita burrito which comes with shrimp, steak, Mac and cheese, corn, onion strings & fat boys sauce. Not only was it delicious, but enough food that I know it will last me until at least lunch tomorrow! Sam helped me out and he was super friendly, as well as the rest of the staff who checked to make sure I enjoyed my order. They have desserts as well, I'll have to get back to try that!
I'm a big fan of fat boys but today was very concerning and dangerous. My experience was when I ordered the chicken guacamole I took my third bite and cut my mouth chewing on a staple inside of my food . I tried contacting them no answer . We did not finish our diner . People working preparing these dinners have to be more attentive. I will not be ordering from them anymore .
Worth the drive. You know the food is great when you plan ur next trip back. Place is small, minimal indoor seating, some outdoor seating, and its best to park on the street. They have a tiny parking space in the back. Now let's talk about the food. Quality control is awesome. i people watch. They checked before it went into the take out box. They also have a warmer cabinet for uber eats/doordash deliveries. Food was delicious! If u dont know what to order, just ask them. Portions are a good size. The burritos are HUGE! Enough for 2 meals! Luv they had the yummy beer i liked. Corn was tasty, nice to have on a stick.

I was hesitant at first but the nice guy at the register said it was good, so I trusted him. I wasn't expecting anything great being that it was just grilled chicken, but it was soooo flavorful! My friend made his own bowl with barbacoa. Beware the hot sauce is very hot!! I loved how friendly the staff was. Nobody looked like they hated their job, everyone was working efficiently and super helpful. Music was good too! All around good vibes. The only potential negative was the size of the seating area but tbh I think most people order to-go so seating doesn't really matter. The set up is very efficient, with a special station to the left that's dedicated to to-go orders, so if you order ahead you can just get in and out. I think there is an outdoor patio too. I was here at night in the winter so I couldn't really see what the patio looked like. There's a small lot in the back for parking too.
Great service & delicious burritos! Small place but we were able to grab one of the few tables & enjoy the ambiance of the establishment. Definite must-try!

I bit into what I thought was a regular bite of my burrito--only to hit a whole bone. Not a small chip, but an actual bone hidden right in the middle of the filling. It completely turned my stomach. I felt nauseated and couldn't take another bite. This is basic food handling 101, and they failed. How does a bone end up in a burrito that's supposed to be steak and shrimp? Does no one check what they're serving? his happened on Cinco de Mayo--was the kitchen overwhelmed, drunk or just careless? Either way, it's beyond unprofessional. First time ordering, and absolutely the last. Disgusting and unacceptable.

I don't care for burritos which is y I never went but the man took me (I was unaware that's where we were going). Glad I did tho cuz it was very good. I got the salad and it was delicious. I added pickles, it was very good with that addition. It was quite busy so I couldn't take that many pics. But I would go back. read more
Fat boy Burritos delivers on the name the portions are huge! I got the chicken avocado crunch wrap and thought it was fantastic. It was fresh and the flavors were great, and the wrap was so big I could only finish half of it. Huge customizable menu something for everyone. 10/10 will definitely be back read more
Flavor bomb I love ordering the crispy crisp as a burrito. Anything that is a bowl, can be made into a burrito and vice versa. The burritos are massive and full of flavor. I always end up splitting it with a friend because it's so big. Fries are also really good. That crispy fry edge and pillowy inside. Inside has a few bar style seating facing the window. Food was delicious portions were so huge I was only able to eat half of the burrito. Prices are very affordable and service was completed in a timely manner. The restaurant was a little loud but there was just an influx of people inside so I wasn't bothered. read more

Had to come take the family here to experience this amazing joint. The place was busy but the staff were incredible, making sure no one was left out or felt ignored. We got our food quickly and ate there at one of the tables and could not be happier with the service and quality of the food! The portions are so big that we all ate half and took the rest home for lunch the next day! read more
I ate here today with our awesome Yelp community manager Jared, and had a wonderful experience. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and warm! It really stood out, and made the experience stand out. I was glad to have Jared have the full Fat Boys experience for the first time, as we both didn't get to eat much running around at the yelp event on Sunday! We started with the jalapeño poppers and chips/queso. The queso blanco and the poppers will always be my favorite app hands down. The flavors don't compare to anything else I've had. We were brought out complimentary chips and oreo tres leches/churro bites, which were phenomenal. The fat daddy burrito we went halfsies on, which I recommend to anyone who comes in with a friend. It's a lot to eat in one sitting. I like the chopped mozzarella stix that sit on top of the burrito halves. The crispy crisp bowl was another item we ordered, as well as the korean bbq tacos (another two favorites) I have enough leftovers for the week now!! Oh and the outdoor heated patio seating is a nice warm touch! Love it Will be back soon read more
I'm so happy I discovered this place! It's a pretty small place which can make it feel crammed when it's crowded, but their service is pretty fast! The staff is friendly and helpful, the place is very clean. They have a wide selection on the menu as-well. I ordered the steak Burrito for the first time, and although I wasn't a big fan of them cutting my burrito in half before serving it because I like eating the burrito as a whole lol. But man was it sooo good! You can tell off the bat that they use high quality ingredients. Literally the best steak burrito I've ever had. I wish they had one in my town, but it's definitely worth the drive when I'm craving a good steak burrito! read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I ordered a chicken salad bowl, chicken and jalapeño poppers burrito, chicken tacos, Mac and cheese and churros. Everything was delicious, great portions, food was fresh and made to order so expect to wait. Call ahead if you can. Staff was great super helpful! I would def return! read more

We love not only the food at Fat Boys (we bring in often and have catered for friends/family) but we also love the people that work there with a shout out to Adam! This is a long overdue thank you for their generosity in donating delicious food for a charity event benefitting mental health services and the local Merrick-Bellmore community. read more

Every time I go, it's a 10/10. The burritos are stacked, the ingredients are fresh, and the flavor combos are unmatched. I got the OG Fat Boy this time, and it was absolute perfection, cheesy, spicy, messy in the best way. Their chips and queso? Dangerous. I could eat that by the gallon. Also, shoutout to the staff for always being super friendly and quick, even when it's busy. If you're craving something filling, flavorful, and downright fire, this place is it. Highly recommend. Just be prepared to take a nap after. read more

These burritos are seriously fat. We've gotten this food before and it's very filling and delicious so flavorful great menu. They have so many options. Anyone can pick something and be satisfied. I love getting a side of tater tots to break up the meal. We usually pick up of the burritos and it is so easy to order online and pay ahead. Usually when we get there you just give me the name and then the burritos it ready and they just give you a bag. They are super quick and nice. Inside is pretty much grab and go kind of vibe. It's cute inside, but there's not too many places to sit. read more

My previous reviews should let you know what a huge fan I am of this restaurant. I don't treat myself often to it because it's just such a big filling meal that needs a special evening. That said, I'm a little disappointed right now, nearly done with my burrito, because the service from the people who work and own this place is so good that I usually expect they can anticipate and help me with an issue such as the one I have: I ordered the BBQ burrito and I took off the jalapeños and the cilantro, which I just don't really like. Here's what's left as per the menu description: Slow cooked pulled pork carnitas, diced bacon, bourbon BBQ sauce, onion strings, "Fat `N Fluffy" rice, cheese blend, salsa fresca and crema. I'm sorry, but I really don't like anything spicy that will make my mouth not appreciate delicious food, but something in this burrito is just too fiery for me. I wish someone had noticed that I took off the jalapeños and may have given me the heads up . Further, I don't understand why the ingredients I just listed would incorporate anything significantly spicy. I read several descriptions of different burritos, which clearly made me shy away because of references to spice or heat. I never understand why restaurants aren't more careful to include spicy things without clearly, including clarity in their description. That said, I still love fat boys burritos, and I look forward to coming back and having something else next time. read more
Tried the Fat Daddy Burrito for the first time and loved every bite! The textures and balanced flavors were spot on--definitely something I'd come back for. We also had the Mac & Cheese-filled empanadas, which were surprisingly not overwhelming and super good. The service was welcoming, patient, and attentive. The laid-back and comfortable vibes were a nice touch. Felt like home. Much love from Cali! You've got something special here, and I can't wait to return! read more
This is obviously a very popular place. Several customers ahead of us but the line moved quickly. They had an extensive menu with some interesting flavor combos. We saw lots of take out orders ready for pick up and the staff was very friendly. We got 5 different tacos. Unfortunately, I was not such a fan - and this could just be a preference thing. Huh. I almost don't know where to start. Let's just start at the beginning, I walked in, there's like 3 different registers and a bunch of random menus thrown on a table in the doorway. So one step in I'm looking at a menu, it's the noise level of Club of Yes in nyc. Tried to order a drink on the menu but they don't actually serve what's on the menus apparently. My plate was Woden and broken. The manager who looks like a washed up clavicular was rude, and condescending to both us and his employees, and did it all with his air pods in. The girl behind the register barely said hi before yelling at me to order. Complete unorganized chaos. Food was okay but had to wait an extra 10 mins for my cheese quesadilla. Also they don't have a tajin rim, and it's really neat because when I switched to a salt rim that didn't come out either. Food was served on a broken wooden plate. lol. I'll get the one in Patchouge next time. * edit all the food storage unit next to the dumpster in the back. Watched an employee without gloves on walk with a bag of chicken into the restaurant as I was leaving. read more

Very little at the Bellmore location. One table inside and a bar top. Some tables in a tent out back.
Are you officially opened? Your hours say you're opened till 2am but you were closed when I went by at 10:30. I then tried going by at 7:30 and you were also closed. I recommend calling and confirming the hours before heading over?

They're open with limited indoor seating (2 tables) and some outdoor seating! They have lots of to-go orders,too.
