They're on known for their crunch wraps and we are silly and forgot to order one but everything we tried was very good! the Mexas steak burrito is heavy and loaded - it was tender and flavorful and can be easily shared! I was very excited for their birria eggrolls and while they were good, they were a bit spicy and didn't exactly give the authentic "birria" flavors. I do also wish they had cheese in them! I went there with my brothers and did the Crunchwrap with fries challenge. The Crunchwrap was so good with the Mac and cheese and the chicken was so flavorful but the fries were not it. The cheese tasted artificial and wasn't fully melted. The cheese had me thinking about my life choices. Overall it was a pretty good experience though. My first time trying curbside. It's basically a upgraded Taco Bell. The girl working was super sweet and was very busy with phone calls and pickup orders. They could of used another employee', but regardless I waited 45 min for a walk in order.. I ordered shredded chicken bowl which the chicken was not shredded but cubed . Big difference. Also loaded with cheese, way too much. Also ordered three fish tacos which were soft shell and completely stuck together so one could not eat it like a taco but a mishmash of taco stuff. I was excited to try this place after seeing an Instagram reel about it. The food looked amazing! I ordered online for pickup. When you order online, you can customize your food, and there are additional charges for any extra meat or sauces you might add, such as sour cream, or poblano crema. When I got home with my order, I noticed that the additional sauces were not actually on my food even though I paid for them and they appeared itemized on the receipt. That was a major bummer, since I'm very picky about how I eat my food. I will say, I did not contact the store to give them the chance to make it right since I did enjoy my meal regardless. However, I will definitely reach out prior to placing another order. But the positives are that the food was absolutely delicious, and I don't say that easily!! I didn't love the soft corn taco shell, so I know I won't order it in the future, but even so, I loved the tacos. Been here several times before with no problem. Food has always tasted good. However their kitchen had some problems that created unacceptable delays for a professional establishment. Placed an online dinner order via Square from their website. About $100. Got to the restaurant and waited 50 minutes past the time the food was supposed to be ready. No explanation why from the person on front, he didn't seem to know why, there was a huge group of other people waiting for orders. Then as the group of people received their food we were still waiting there, other people came in after us and got their food before us. Finally we got the food. Waiting that long ( and not being told up front it would be another hour after we got there) is simply unacceptable. On the bright side, at least they weee nice. read more

After reading the reviews and always in search is the best taco on Long Island we had to try this place. They have a pretty interesting menu with traditional Mexican Street food and Mexican with American twist. We started with the empanadas which come a with 4 per order. They were a nice size and super crunchy. The beef and cheese was ok but reminded me of a Taco Bell filling. The shredded pork was good but other than the consistency of the meat is was hard to tell them apart. The Baja taco turned out to be a thumbs down for us. The shrimp were those tiny shrimp ( less than 1 inch in diameter) and had no flavor although there were a decent amount of them (about 9 per taco). The main flavor of this taco was the Cotija cheese and lettus . The Birria tacos were amazing. The meat was tender and plentiful. So delicious you didn't need the side of consommé it comes with. For this alone I feel this place is worth another try and will definitely be back. read more

New spot opened up close to home which is good because this area needed something new and different. Mostly a takeout place but it's okay if you wanna go in and dine in also. We had the poblano crema wings, Birria tacos and a surf and turf crunch wrap. First off the inside is nicely decorated, the wings were super crispy and delicious (can't wait to try other flavors). The Crunchwrap was huge! The steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly as well as the other flavors, it was super delicious. The Birria meat was also very tender and good. Their Diablo sauce is also a great touch. 1: they do not serve any alcohol yet so don't go there expecting to have a beer or cocktail or anything. 2: they do charge for the sauces which I feel like they shouldn't since they only have 1 hot sauce available to you. I feel like most orders should be accompanied by sour cream as well. But it's still brand new hopefully they work those kinks out but overall friendly service and very delicious food. My friend couldn't finish them and I wouldn't try one. Everything else looked better but lacked taste. I had heard about Curbside Mexican Grill's first location (South Hempstead) through a few of my students who attend Molloy College. So I was super stoked to finally give it a try when they opened up basically nextdoor to my house in Plainview. WOW- Boy did it live up to the hype! The man who took my order (who later mentioned to us was one of the owners) patiently guided my wife and I through how their menu works: South of the Curb items are more traditional Mexican, and North of the Curb items have a bit of an American twist to them. My wife went the more traditional route, getting a Classico Quesedilla; I went with the Southern Comfort burrito, and we both split an order of empanadas. Portions were very large and we had a HARD time finishing everything, but it was too good to stop! My family (7 of us) came here Monday night because I saw a reel on Instagram and thought it looked good. After our group ordered people came in droves to either order or pick up food and only one guy was working the counter. I didn't get his name but he looked extremely overwhelmed and I just felt awful for him. Despite the craziness he still was very friendly and got all of our orders correct and was prompt with anything extra we asked for. The food was good (the oreo empanadas were one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life), but the service was exceptional despite this poor guy having probably one of the worst days ever at work. If management is reading this - he deserves a raise (or at the very least someone to help him manage all the customers at the front).
