I go here twice a week. I get the bean and cheese burrito with grilled chicken. They're very consistent, prices are fair, and food is delicious. It's always fresh, and everything has a lot of flavor. My go-to spot. Highly recommend!

The food and the service are very good. I have been here twice and every time was with co-workers. The food has always been delicious. Today, I decided to venture alone and some alone time. I had the Nachos, a lot for one person however, I was up for the mission and I once again, it was very enjoyable and delicious. The ambience is calm with a lot of foot treat from people grabbing a bite for lunch. If you in the area, stop and enjoy some delicious Mexican dishes.

I ordered the JUNIOR Monster Burrito for lunch via UberEats pickup. The burrito is pretty big and I had a hard time finishing it all... but It's a good problem to have lol. They also gave chips on the side with it however, I do think it is expensive the subtotal came to $15.24.. I can go to Chipotle for about $7 less and get 2 burritos for $17.

Honestly had never heard of this placed but have probably passed it 1000s of times... When it was suggested I checked the menu out online, as one does, and it looked promising. Place is pretty standard, order, find a seat, sit down. Ended up getting 3 soft shrimp tacos (my fave kind of taco) and they were surprisingly very yummy! Came out quick and hot, and honestly tasted pretty fresh. Not sure what everyone else thought of their food, but I would def return!!

Very satisfied with dinner tonight! The boyfriend was craving rice and beans, but didn't want to go to sit-down restaurant, and wanted something super casual and super quick. This is where we found ourselves tonight! Lots of variety on the menu...and it's not just Mexican. Fries, chili, mozzarella sticks, wings, raviolis....and all the Mexican basics. I ordered a chorizo taco, chicken taco, and a pinwheel. The tacos were basic, but absolutely delicious. The pinwheel...or Mexican pizza was fabulous! Mmm. My mouth is still salivating just by writing this review. My boyfriend had the fajita platter. He ate it all, so I'll just assume he enjoyed it! We shared some wings! They were super crispy and full of flavor. Everything tasted super fresh and homemade. There's a salsa bar with a few different salsas. We tried them all and they were all very good. Staff was very nice and welcoming. We were greeted with a smile! Can't wait to come back and try something else!

Thursday night is football night. I head over to my brothers and watch the game with a few friends. We were hungry and someone suggested burritos. But I wanted something more filling than a burrito and my friend said "let me stop you right there, "Piñatas Mexican Grill" doesn't make big burritos, it makes massive burritos!" That comment alone made me curious. A burrito so big it would end all hunger? I would have to see. So I head over there to pick up dinner. The place wasn't far and parking was good. I found a good spot and made my way in. Understandably there were only two patrons inside, but a few people coming in and out at the counter. When it was my turn I placed my order and the hug staff in the back went to work. They make the food fresh to order so it gave me the opportunity to look around. The restaurant was very clean and organized. I loved the color scheme inside. The setting was definitely Mexican and the atmosphere is that for a date with someone special. After my walk around my food was ready. I thought there was a mistake at first. They gave me too many bags. However it was right. The burritos were so big and massive, they put them into multiple bags! I have to be honest, at that point I was scared! Would I be able to finish this thing? Driving home I thought, be careful what you wish for. Once I got back to my brothers I pulled the burritos out. I never ever saw a burrito that big. The only way to eat this monster was to cut it and so I did. Eating this thing I couldn't believe how good it was. It's been a long time since I've eaten a burrito like this. I couldn't even eat it at one sitting. I had to walk away and come back many times. But finally at the end I won and it was gone. This place is amazing and deserves attention. Weather it's indoor dining or to go, you need to check it out. But trust me, one burrito will feed four people and be prepared to fall into a food coma.....I never watched the game because of it.

Came here about 2 weeks ago with some friends for lunch on Sunday. Was excited to try a new burrito place. The inside of the place is clean and there is ample seating, which easily accommodated our party of 10. I ordered a burrito (I forget the exact name) with rice, black beans, and ground beef. Let me start with the good. The burrito comes with a side of chips, which is nice. The prices are pretty decent as well; I ordered the burrito and a drink, and it came out to like $9.97 or something. Less than $10 for a sizable burrito and a drink is pretty good these days. The burrito wasn't overly huge, but it was about the right size for the price you pay. Ok, now the bad. I try to be as fair as possible, but the burrito was on the lower end of flavor I'd had from burritos. There wasn't nearly enough meat in the burrito, and it was filled more with beans and rice. Flavor was decent but nowhere near fantastic. To be fair, I can't say the burrito was bad at all. It just wasn't very good. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 and can say that Chipotle does it better. Ok, in addition, let me talk about service. The older dude taking my order wasn't very friendly to me and my party; I can even say that he was a bit rude. My friend Kenworthe politely let him know that there was no soap in the bathroom, and his response was 'don't worry about it, just use the other one', referring to the women's bathroom. He gave my other friend an attitude when she got her food and was impatient while we decided what to order. Lastly, I don't know what they marinated that meat in, but I was writhing in pain when I went to take my morning dookie the next day. The burrito wasn't even that spicy, so I had no idea what was going on there. Honestly, most of the points I docked were because of the service. I'm offended that we would be treated in the way we were when we're bringing so much business to this establishment. The food definitely didn't make up for the experience as well.

Pinata's is a cute little tex mex casual take out eat in restaurant in an industrial area of LI by Grumman's. Far better than most mexican chains.. Good for lunch or light dinner. Taco's burrito's, salsa bar all good. They have just started offering chimichangas.

I knew it had to be good and I was right. Cute interior, casual, pretty small so I am sure they have a high volume operation going on. It was a cold day, so no outside seating, obviously, but I'd love to come back and sit outside on a nice day. There's something about warm weather, tacos and cold margs that's super appealing, isn't there? I'd heard their vegan tacos were excellent and I was happy to see a wide selection of them. I tried the vegan chorizo as well as the Impossi-taco. Listen, there's no contest here. If looking for a meaty type of taco, go with the vegan chorizo (I believe it's housemade). I'm a spice-loving gal and it didn't seem spicy at all to me but I do realize there are people out there that might think it's spicy so that's a caveat. It's top tier, however, and the impossible was just something I can make at home (with a lot more spice-- it's lacking that here). I also ordered the black beans and rice, but I wouldn't order it again, as it was a small ramekin and I was too full to eat it anyway. Next time, guac, I'm coming for you. The sampling on my impossi-taco had me full of regret that I didn't get more of it! If you like sweet sangria, they've got you here. I didn't love it, way too sweet for me. I'll definitely try their other cocktails next time. Now, for the service. Gina is a rockstar! I see her name mentioned in reviews and you know when you see a name in reviews, that person is exceptional. Loved her. Actually everyone in here is so nice. It's refreshing.

Cold, silent, and forgotten--but at least the soup had soul."…read more I wanted to love Escorzas. My fiancé and I used to recommend it to friends and family. But after this past Sunday's visit, that chapter is closed. Let's start with the positives, because they exist. The tortilla soup was genuinely very good--rich, comforting, properly garnished. And the steamed clams? Surprisingly good, fresh and briny in a light broth and with white beans that hinted at real care in the kitchen. If the meal had ended there, I might have walked away conflicted rather than angry. But the rest was a masterclass in neglect. We arrived at 1:30 pm--an hour and a half after opening--and found the place completely empty. No music. No warmth, literally: it was freezing inside. The bartender doubled as host, and once he realized we weren't ordering cocktails, his interest evaporated. No greeting beyond the bare minimum. Nothing. Twenty minutes later, another group walked in. They were seated at the bar. Suddenly, miraculously, the music came on. And their food arrived before ours, even though we had ordered well ahead. Our appetizers? A long, silent wait. The free tortillas that came out initially were never refreshed, even as we sat hungry while waiting. No water refills. No offer of hot sauce. No check-in, no smile, no "how's everything?"--just the sound of our own frustration echoing off the empty walls. When the fajitas finally appeared (late, with no sense of urgency), they were fine--but by then, we had stopped caring. We ate quickly, paid our $70+ bill, and I reluctantly left a $10 tip, which felt more like charity than gratitude. To add insult to injury, we forgot our doggy bag with leftover steak and veggies from the fajitas. I'm not sure the staff would have noticed or cared if we'd left a suitcase behind. My fiancé has officially crossed Escorzas off her favorites list. So have I. A kitchen that turns out good soup and clams deserves a front-of-house team that matches that effort. Instead, we got silence, cold air, and the unmistakable feeling that we were invisible--until it was time to pay. Verdict: Come for the tortilla soup. Leave before you order anything else. And bring a jacket.
