The menu said it comes with tomatillo sauce, but I don't believe there was any on my taco. I believe it needed a better sauce to tie it all together. Maybe chimichurri or aji verde. The actual chimichurri taco had steak, pickled red onions, queso, pico de gallo and chimichurri sauce. Unfortunately, could not taste the chimichurri sauce because the pickled onions were overpowering. Also, this taco was very WET. It made the tortilla very soggy and break apart. I think the wetness came from the pico de gallo. Also, I could not tell if this actually had cheese. This one was disappointing. Too much going on in this taco. Thankfully, I got the birria taco and it was hands down the best taco. The stewed beef was so delicious and paired perfectly with the melted mozzarella cheese along with the onion cilantro mix. I love how perfectly pan fried the exterior was. I will definitely get 3 birria tacos next time. I also had the Mexi Street Fries as a side. The fries were thick and fried to perfection.
