3 Tacos Lunch Special. Tasty but very little meat on them

What a great little spot, I order food to go. The place looks clean and the staff very friendly. They have good deals for lunch special.

Tastiest tacos I've had in a very long time. Good service. Indoor and outdoor seating available

Yummy Tacos is next door to Yummy Gyro (separate businesses; same owner)

I've been eyeing this new authentic Mexican restaurant since I drove by and spotted them next door to Yummy Gyro (same owners). Today is their grand opening! I just randomly drove by and saw they were opened, so I just had to stop in! They have a small parking area in front but there's plenty of neighborhood parking available also. Restaurant is bright & colorful, super clean, and nicely decorated. Really cheerful, nice vibe! Friendly & welcoming customer service. They have a pretty extensive menu: tacos, soups, appetizers, nachos, burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, typical Mexican combo plates, the list goes on and on! They even have a kids menu. Something for everyone! (See my photos for menu). They even have Taco Tuesday specials (2 for 1 on some tacos). And....they have birria tacos!! On my 1st visit, I chose their Tres Tacos Combo ($10.95). You can choose 3 of any of their tacos (comes with onions, cilantro, guacamole sauce, green salsa & pico de gallo). Everything was made fresh to-order. I chose: - Carne Asada (grilled steak): great! The strips of steak was so tender and not overcooked. - Al Pastor (roasted pork, adobo sauce & pineapple): really good. Love the pineapple. - Carnitas (pulled pork): was good but could have used a tad bit more flavor. Note that the Tres Taco Combo might not be the best choice since ordering individual tacos may come out cheaper...go figure! I was surprised that their hot sauce really wasn't that spicy! I ordered takeout and the container of hot sauce was only mildly spicy. I wonder if they have bottles of hot sauce on the tables for eat-in? My fave hot sauce is El Yucateco Green Habanero Sauce...it would be awesome if they offered this! I'll have to check next time I'm there. :D Awesome addition to the neighborhood and I can't wait to go back to try other items from their extensive menu... especially their birria tacos!

We've had this place a few times and each time the birria tacos have been amazing. It's so flavorful and tasty. Contrary to another review, they do offer a three birria taco plate. It's a perfect portion for one person! They also have great lunch specials and they pack the food well for takeout and it's still hot when we get home to eat it. Highly recommend this place.

The music is good and lively and the ambiance is fun to go out on a Saturday night on Long Island. They have some beer on tap and my husband liked how they had an ipa option. The margarita selection is also awesome and there were so many I wanted to try. I really enjoyed my spicy watermelon margarita. I also really enjoyed the black bean taco. However, I didn't really enjoy my other tacos I ordered. The sauce was often too much to the point that the taco was soggy which is a big turnoff for me. I also didn't like the carne asada taco when I almost always do because I didn't like the green sauce when I almost always do at other Mexican places. The guacamole also appears to be premade, in that we couldn't order it without tomatoes and we couldn't customize how spicy it was. It wasn't bad tasting though, just tasted like something I'd get at the grocery store. Overall good drinks spot! And a good black bean taco. Would pass on any of the other food I tried there though.

We were seated 10-15 minutes before our order was taken. We placed the food and drink order together as we had plenty of time to decide. We waited forty minutes to get 5 tacos. The small basket of fries came around twenty minutes before the tacos. They were clearly understaffed for the day. Back to Adam. Good guy but he was clearly under the weather. Sniffling repeatedly while attempting to attend to customers. He should have been relegated to custodial duties and limited customer interaction. At a minimum wear a mask as he was talking directly to customers and delivering food to the tables. The tacos were good. We tried the Korean beef bbq, chicken Al pastor, Baja fish, Surf and Turf and the Falafel. Not great but tasty. Fries were good as well. I think the chicken Al pastor was the best. Not ruling them out but uncertain about a return.

For my order I went with a trio of tacos - al pastor, coconut shrimp (both of these were listed as signature items) and the crispy fish. Glad they have hot sauces on the table to bring need heat. I got a side salad with this - I would say this is bit of afterthought lettuce with 3 pieces of cucumber and tomato each there wasn't much to it. I tried the Carne Asada bowl - again a bit on the sweet side, but they give a good amount of food. They use a cheese blend and I think one of them is a parmesan because it tasted a bit out of place. We ordered a piece of tres leches and it had a maple flavor that was unexpected. The steak was dry and the taco was just not moist enough to eat happily. We had a side of nachos which was great and also the street corn side as a dip was also delicious.
