I love Mexican food. When we heard about the opening of this branch which by the way near our place, we rushed to go when we get the chance. We maybe late to their location grand opening, but never late to give a try and a review on todays visit. Basically it works like the other Mexican food chain eg Chipotle, Hot Peppers. One thing that I have noticed right away from the rest is the drinks they offer, much less in choices and no alcoholic beverages , yet?!?!? I enjoyed my meal. One price for basic ingredients as the usual , guacamole and Queso are extra fee-, $3. Their selling point is that "the secret is in the sauce". I agreed. They have variety of choices and seems likely to give a beautiful dining experience to each diner. Everyone knows that the taste of a meal in a Mexican restaurant chain like this depends on what you pick to put in the order. I loved how they done my protein, juicy and tender grilled steak. The other ingredients to add to my burrito bowl seem very fresh. Great, delicious servings. Service is good . On this busy Friday promo, we received our guacamole free of charge and accepted my $5 coupon for signing up on their site. I had a good experience on this visit.

The food was delicious and the place was very clean, the service was good but they forgot my shredded cheese luckily I had some in the fridge. The family enjoyed and looks forward for our next visit. Oh and the most important thing the guac wasn't all that special.

I absolutely love the GUAC Shop! They have a location in Garden City & I was really excited when they bought it to New Hyde Park! Their food is fresh and they have a variety of things. You can order online or for delivery. Definitely great quality food & for me personally I enjoy it better than Chipotle.

A hidden gem but a star in the fast casual Mexican industry! The guacamole was some of the best I've had anywhere, and the queso had great flavor. My burrito and my friends bowl both lived up to expectations, and then some. Definitely will be back for this great quality Mexican with some unique items like the Mexican sweet potatoes.

We came here on a late afternoon that we did not feel like cooking at home. A small place with a few tables. The joint was neat and clean. They have a large parking at the back. When I first came in to the store, I noticed that they are very busy preparing food with a few costumers, and when I saw their foods packed for pick up I have the impression that they are popular on Pick-up orders. Me and my wife tried a burrito bowl for each, it was easy enough to order as service staff verbally guided me on my choices while I was in line. I opted for Barbacoa as my protein and my wife opted for steak. I chose brown rice, black beans and all the options available except for the garbanzos and mexi sweet potatoes, and as my sauce I went for chipotle mayo. Heads up, there is an extra charge for the optional Queso and guacamole, but luckily on that day, they were giving guacamole for free. I made the wrong choice of protein, I should have chosen steak instead of barbacoa, as the barbacoa was a little bit salty for my taste. They gave generous amounts of proteins and veggies on their burrito bowls. My stomach was full enough after I finished my bowl. All in all I was satisfied with their food, cleanliness and service. There are other competitions that offer free guacamole and that is $3.00 less on what you pay as compared to this place.

I stumbled upon this establishment through Instagram, and I must say the food I got today was very good . I ordered through the QUAC SHOP APP (very helpful) for pickup after work. I ordered 2 surf and turf performance bowls, and a carnitas burrito with queso on the side . Guac shop is VERY generous with their portion sizes and the bowls were full of flavor . The pick up system was fast and easy, and the resterant was very clean. Shout out to the ladies at the front who were so kind sweet and warm upon arrival. They always have great deals so I would advise you download their app asap. I will always continue to order from this restaurant as the food is fresh and tasty and the customer service is great . The only reason why I did not give the extra star is because my bowl was a little to sweet due to the yummy pineapples that come with the bowl. Next time I will just ask for less .

Just like Chipotle with different options. Got the bowl, and it was loaded up so many different ingredients. The food was fresh and tasty. Staff was super quick and had a fast checkout. Just a few seats in the back and a couple of soda options. Would recommend.

This place is a bit more expensive than, say, chipotle. The food is flavorful however and portions are decent. I like the mango salsa. My chicken burrito bowl was $13 for the portion you see below. The actual place itself is small and new since they're just starting up. There are small side bar/tables for 1-2 people but overall seems better for grab and go.

Vegetarian bowl with shrimp! I call it the pescatarian bowl!

What a little gem! I was expecting chain and had low-ish expectations -- instead it was like a family-run find!

Surprisingly, it is a dish that is hard to find in the Flushing/Fresh Meadows area especially in a sit down, comfortable restaurant. The Chilaquiles was a nice little plate of deliciousness - I loved the tangy green salsa soaked bed of tortilla with nicely fried over easy eggs (they way I ordered it). A fan of avocado, tomato and onions top the dish as well - it comes with a side of rice and beans. I recently returned when I was in the mood for enchiladas - they have combo option with beef, chicken and cheese. I ordered them divorced style with both red and green salsa. It comes blanketed with a shredded lettuce salad with tomato, onions and avocado. Rice and beans round out the dish. A couple of other dishes I tasted were the eggs with chorizo and the chimichanga - both were very good. I love their house salsas both a dark red and green one. They bring out tortilla chips with a thick salsa that is tomato-ey sweet. They have a full bar if you are so inclined and the service is very good here.

Not fluent in English, but very friendly service. They have an extensive menu! They give complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa is a sweet tomato-y salsa and the chips are crisp. The Chimichanga with Cecina (Salted Beef) was stuffed! Crisp fried exterior, covered in flavorful red (tomato-y) and green (herb-y) sauces. The cecina is perfectly salted. I enjoyed the guac and chips (same as the complimentary chips) and pico on the side added freshness. They also have a house red and green sauce, which have a good kick and flavor to them. The Pineapple Juice is the right amount of sweetness and tart. I like that there's no ice so it's a full glass of juice! Overall a neat local spot to hit up for good food and friendly service (and a full bar!).

Finally I got to go with an old friend who I had a bad falling out with, so this meal was more important than just getting fed. Our whole relationship was on the line. There's no better way to start a painful reunion than to get some random (included) starter snack, accompanied by three unique sauces, and two coconut margaritas. Immediately upon tasting the margaritas, we knew our friendship would make it out of the meal. For appetizers, we got today's special - Tuna Ceviche - that was genuinely a blast of flavors. All I remember is there's a yuzu sauce amongst other ingredients. The dish was tiny but tasted incredible. We also got the Ensalada de Betabel con Jicama, another fabulous dish full of beets and jicama, and their guacamole. Now I thought the guacamole was a little bland, but it was definitely fresh. For entrees, we split the Mole de Piaxtla and the Tacos de Carne Asada. Flavorwise, I was a little disappointed in both. The meat in the tacos was incredible, but as a dish it felt incomplete. I did really enjoy the Mole but honestly I never gravitate towards it so even if it was A+ I don't think I'd really appreciate it. That being said, I have had better (in CDMX). Before we dug in to the entrees, we dug into the truth of our distance and really acknowledged how special it was to come over food like this. Now, we were so full at this point that even though everything tasted good nothing tasted good. We also were distracted by someone dressed up as the michelin man coming in and vlogging the restaurant. We ate as much as we could and the service gave us a little break to continue chatting. Upon their return, we ordered two more margaritas and a tres leches. Again, the margaritas were fire and the tres leches was a perfect end to the meal. A beautiful meal, beautiful restaurant, great drinks, and the preservation of a long time friendship. Does it get better than this?

We got the ceviche de pescado, which was the best dish by far and extremely delicious and sour. The fish was perfectly cooked in the lime juice too. We also got guacamole, which was simple and not exciting. Overpaid on this one for sure. For mains my fiancee got tacos al pastor and they were good, but not differentiated from any other al pastor tacos I've gotten. Key difference is they were $9 per taco! I got the Carnitas dish and it was really good. Some tender pieces, some a bit too firm, all slow cooked with no browned/crisped exterior. For $40 I'd expect way better, but it was still good with the pickled carrot and onions and salsas. Wait staff was very friendly, could have been a bit more attentive to our drinks, but not an issue. The vibes in outdoor seating were good (music was inside only). Aguachile cocktail was on point and my michelada was solid. I would give Casa Enrique 4 stars if either the prices were a bit more reasonable or the quality was a level higher, but as is I was not really impressed and I'm not keen to come back.
