This place has the most unique types of ramen I've ever seen. I was super intrigued by all of their tea infused ramen like matcha and hojicha. Every time I come here, I get the triple shrimp ramen, which is the best. The broth is really flavorful and well balanced. The shrimp is charred and seasoned very nicely. The coconut cream topping also adds a little bit of creaminess to the broth. I love their deep fried potato strips that they put on top and their ever so perfect marinated egg. It has the most perfect jammy consistency. As for the hojicha ramen, I can definitely say that the hojicha flavor shines through. However, it's a bit more on the clean and light side, whereas I prefer rich and fatty. But I can definitely see how others can appreciate this tea infused broth. We also ordered the karaage, which was not as crispy as I'd prefer, but the flavor was good. The sauce that was paired with it, carried the dish. It was spicy, creamy, and tangy. The aesthetic of this restaurant is so clean and warm and the service is always on point. I also really like that you can use the QR code to order and look at pictures of the menu items. Best ramen in the area! Rich broth, premium toppings and good drinks too. They now have a yuzu matcha cold brew that's big enough for 2 people. Love the fried enoki and grilled squid appetizers. I tried the triple shrimp ramen and it was SO good. I thought it would be spicy from the red broth but it's not at all and very umami. Maybe they used the shrimp head to make the soup? Tried out this ramen spot in littleneck today and I loved it . They have a lot of unique flavors other than the typical flavors , shoyu, salt, and miso (and spicy miso), black garlic as they have hojicha and other tea flavors. I tried out their wagyu ramen and it was very delicious . I wish the portion was a little bigger because i finished it in literally 2 seconds! It comes with a large piece of wagyu beef slice . When I saw that there was matcha ramen on the menu, I had to try it. It's definitely not something you see often. I didn't regret my decision. A reason that I don't get ramen frequently is that the broth is usually too rich or salty for me, so I end up not drinking much of it. The matcha ramen was well balanced and I thoroughly enjoyed it. As its name represents, Cha (Tea) Menya (Noodle Shop) specializes in their tea ramens, but I'm actually a bigger fan of their non tea ramens! The Tsukemen has springy noodles, thick pieces of chashu, which were fall apart tender, and a perfectly jammy egg. The broth has a strong garlicky flavor, and is slightly overly salty but it's meant for dipping not drinking straight. Did I still dr ink it straight? Of course... can't waste that delicious broth! The Yuzu Shio Ramen has very plump clams. The soup is light, but flavorful. Great balance with the citrus and seafood. Both the Hojicha and Matcha Ramen have very strong tea flavors. It's certainly a unique combo of flavors, as well as texture. If you're not a fan of the teas, you won't be a fan of these ramens. The Yuzu Grapefruit Tea has real fruit pieces. It is very refreshing. Helps balance out the heavy broth of the Tsukemen. The Cold Brew Teas come in a big glass cold brew tea bottle (~24 oz). Very refreshing tea. We stopped in because it was national ramen day. We ordered the hojicha ramen and the triple shrimp ramen. Decent portion size and good flavors overall. We also ordered the sweet potato cheesecake with mango sorbet and the cheesecake was amazing. Easy to order by scanning the QR code at your table and adding what you want. The only thing is, you can't pay for it through the QR code. Just a tip about the tip is, you can add the tip through the QR code and when they bring you the bill they'll add the tip and give you an option to select a tip which, if you do, you'd be tipping them double. I love this spot! For one, the prices are extremely reasonable and the quality of the ingredients is top notch, a combo which is not as common these days. For starters I had the enoki appetizer. Fried enoki mushrooms is an interesting idea and they came out just right with a thin crispy texture. It was great to try out but likely not something I'd order again as you get used to the taste really quick. This appetizer would be greatly elevated by some sort dipping sauce. The ramen is where this place really shines for me. The Wagyu Ramen seems to be the most popular, and it does taste very good. The aged shoyu broth with the egg and what appeared to be chopped truffles pack a nice subtle umami flavor that was present without overpowering to the beef. The slices of A5 Mizayaki Wagyu were melt-in-your-mouth tender. This ramen was totally worth it and I recommend that everyone should try it at least once. One thing however, at least for me, is that the wagyu is so good that once you eat it, nothing else in the dish can match up to it and you kind of just wish you were eating more meat lol. The Classic Ramen is perhaps my favorite so far. The broth had a rich pork taste, the ajitama/egg was so flavorfully marinated and perfectly jammy, and I upgraded to chasu shoulder which I personally prefer. I also had the Tsukemen. I've never had this before, though I ended up loving it. As a heads up, this is different not only in that the broth is served separately, but also in that the ingredients you dip in the broth are relatively cold/cool rather than warm. It's the broth that heats it up. The broth however, is not the same as the classic ramen. It's thicker and has a strong garlic vibe to it, which is absolutely delicious. I also upgraded to the chasu shoulder here. Since it hasn't been sitting in broth, you can really appreciate the slight smoky flavor it has. I will def be coming back here to try the karage, ika, and gyoza appetizers as well as the other ramens. read more

The server was very friendly and kind, and the service was quick and attuned. The ambiance is very comfortable, where although the seating are a bit on the tighter end, it's still distanced enough where you're not on top of each other. The Karaage was very tender and juicy, with a nice crisp and delicious aioli to pair perfectly with it! The Tsukemen Ramen, although flavorful due to its rich dipping broth, was a bit overly simplistic where the ingredients didn't really add much to its overall flavor profile. Adding some corn or seaweed may enhance the dish further by giving it more pleasurable contrast in terms of texture and flavor, but that's just my personal opinion and preference. Some of the best ramen I've ever had! We started with enoki - crispy fried enoki mushrooms. They were perfectly fried and delivered in a bowl in sheets of several mushrooms cooked together. Then, we had the Classic Ramen and the Yasai Ramen. The Classic was one of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had. The broth is a milky, pork-bone tonkotsu broth with a rich umami flavor. It had quite a few slices of pork in the soup that were delicious. The Yasia bowl has a vegetable-based shoyu broth. In both, there were incredibly creamy soft-hard boiled eggs. The service was great. The appetizer came out fairly quickly and the ramen came out just as we were finishing the appetizer. The prices were quite reasonable. A very unique ramen place indeed where the base of the broths are rich in flavor with tea. With so many tea options, the menu is definitely a good read. I really wanted to try the matcha ramen because it's matcha! But during this pandemic, it's rare to find some nice meat ... A5 Wagyu no less. So naturally, while it is the most expensive ramen I've ever seen locally, you know I had to try it. Tender and smooth, that Wagyu was delicious. I wish there was more beef but it is what it is. As for the portion size, the ramen was light. Ingredients were light. It did contain wood ear but it was so finely chopped, you almost couldn't see it. So I downgraded it by one star. My friend ordered the Hojicha Ramen. That bowl looked a lot fuller with toppings and such. Can't resist the eggs! I honestly don't "drink" the ramen broth but I do sample it while enjoying my ramen. I know folks who do slurp all that up so this would be the ideal place to do that. Given the flavors and ramen options, why not?! I did order one appetizer as we were a hungry duo. So we tried the fried enoki mushrooms. It's crispy and tasty with a light finish.
