My friend ordered the Falafel Sandwich and a Irish Breakfast Tea. Besides the delicious food what else made this time at the Witches Brew extra special. Well it was our Waitress Sam. Sam was perfection from the start of the meal to the finish. She had the best vibes and attitude and wore the coolest looking Van's. Her customer service skills outshine many other waitstaff that I've encountered in the past month. Sam is another Great addition to the already amazing team the Witches Brew employs

We're not vegan, but as vegetarians we love vegan restaurants that have figured out how to make deliciousness out of plant-based foods. As tasty as the drinks were, it's really the vibe that I love. So random to find a place like this in our relatively normie area - maybe we can even find other weirdos like ourselves who also feel at home in a place that celebrates spooky fun like WBCH does.

The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and willing to offer recommendations when needed. The best part is that the menu has very detailed descriptions of each item so even if you're not super familiar with this cuisine, you'll know how to order. My husband and I started with samosas which were the best I've ever had! If you're a fan, please go and try this and let me know if I'm being hyperbolic, but they were insanely good! I had the Aloo Gobi Masala which was out of this world. The flavors were well balanced and tasty. My husband had the veg biryani. The portions were plenty and the ingredients super fresh! We're so excited to have found a great purely vegetarian Indian restaurant so close to home. We will absolutely be back!

I ordered the short ribs and the five-onion soup again, and both were excellent. The service was spot-on and impressively quick--my food arrived in under 15 minutes. The owner is also really cool; he personally greets guests and makes a point of chatting with the performers to ensure they're comfortable. This is a wonderfully romantic spot. The beautiful flowers add such a nice touch (as I mentioned in my previous review). While it's not fully upscale, it has an elevated, sophisticated vibe that makes you want to dress up for the occasion. Highly recommended!

The floral displays are fun and are probably the highlight of the visit. The space is clearly designed for photos, and I can see why it would be popular for birthdays, showers, or other special occasions. They seem to go the extra mile when it comes to creating a celebratory atmosphere. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff at reception and at the table were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Food-wise, we tried the Kung Pao calamari and wagyu meatballs after seeing other reviewers rave about them, but both felt a little gimmicky to me. Our group mostly stuck with more traditional brunch items, including breakfast burritos and omelettes, and those were fine. Overall, I would not necessarily come here just for the food, but I would recommend it for the atmosphere, service, and special-occasion vibe. It is a great spot if you want a pretty setting, good hospitality, and plenty of photo-friendly areas.

Five flavor plate - a nice amuse-bouche that went through a series of flavors: Hawthorne jelly for sour, yams for sweet - butter melon jelly for bitter, mushroom.and black pepper for spicy, and radish cracker for salty. The bitter melon was my favorite and definitely wasn't that better - it had pleasant spices almost like a chutney. Next was mushrooms in a light cucumber sauce, followed by a savory and thick 18 vegetable soup. This was a nice back to back contrast of light and simple with rich and hearty. The next three courses were aiming to imitate meat a little more. The first was a grilled mushroom over fragrant green millet. Then, sweet and sour tofu skin, and another grilled mushroom covered in a curry sauce. Of these, the tofu skin was my favorite as the bright course in between the savory ones. Next was rice in a savory broth with peach jelly, and then a nutty noodle dish with a smooth and creamy sauce with a nice blend of spices. These helped round out the meal, and the noodles were especially tasty. To end was a dessert made from berries and sweet potato, almost with the texture of ice cream. Reservation is required and the meal is prepaid except for tip. The whole thing came to about $130 each after tax and tip. I found the meal to be less heavy than most other tasting menus and very creative.

Served as a progressive prix fixe menu, dishes arrive one after the other. We started with a delightful five-flavor plate--each bite focusing on a different taste profile--plus cucumber-sauced mushrooms and a grounding Bodhi Buddha soup. Rich matsutake mushrooms and sweet-and-sour riblets followed, paired with bowl-steamed rice and noodles, before finishing with a refreshing sweet potato dessert. Service is smooth. Our server, Hannah, paced the courses briskly and professionally, perfect since we had a show afterward. Still, block out at least an hour and a half to truly enjoy the thoughtfully curated meal. The space is fully wheelchair friendly with wide pathways. Because it is strictly reservation-only, plan ahead. It works beautifully for celebrations or a romantic evening.

Customer service was terrible, and the atmosphere became uncomfortable because of their behavior. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone until management addresses these serious issue. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience left me with no choice. I did not want to write this review, but the behavior I witnessed was unacceptable and should be addressed. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.
