Stopped by Grillmark for the first time and had a great experience. The space is clean, modern, and has a relaxed feel that fits perfectly with the whole fresh and healthy concept. The service is great. We tried a variety of items starting with the Healthy Glow and Green Machine which were both refreshing and a great way to start. The Italian market salad was loaded and really filling, and the Greek salad had all the classics done right. We also had the Mexican salad in a pita which was fresh and something a little different. For mains, the turkey burger and salmon burger were both solid, clean options that still delivered. The buffalo chicken sandwich added a nice kick. The house made gyro chicken with tzatziki kept things simple and fresh. We also tried an assortment of skewers including steak, pork, chicken, lamb chops, salmon, shrimp, and swordfish which gave a great mix of everything. The side of house made quinoa tied it all together nicely. Overall, a great spot if you're looking for clean, fresh, and filling meals made with quality ingredients. The food is delicious and fresh. You can see the juices being made at the counter so those are fresh as well. The owner and staff are very friendly. They also have salads, soups, wraps, burgers, rice or quinoa bowls as well as meat kebabs. It's right by the bus stop so it's accessible with public transportation, I take three busses each way to come here the food is that good, or I'll order delivery though Ubereats. read more

Friendly service with great tasting food too! Chicken gyro was great, not salty, nicely roasted. Filet mignon kabobs (sticks?) were so tender and tasty. Hummus and tzatziki (so garlicky!!) was delicious, especially on the warm pita bread! Plus I had their healthy start pressed juice (orange carrot pineapple) that was very refreshing!! I had a DELICIOUS arugula salad and shared spinach pie and fiery feta dip apps. WONDERFUL, especially the feta dip, which I **almost** regretted sharing!! ;-) MINOR complaint might be the need for a BIT more pita bread to soak up all the juicy deliciousness!! SO MANY choices... It's nice to find a place with fresh options. And though this place has been here for a little while, it was due to be. Greeted with a smile and fed with great tasting choices. The owner spared no expense in making sure we tasted the whole gambit. There was shrimp, salmon, Turkey burgers, regular burgers, rice, french fries, chicken madea couple of ways, delicious salad and much much more. I was really surprised by the turkey burgers which I usually dry in other places. These were very moist and tasty. I also enjoyed the dips the sides and the chips. OMFG this FOOD is too good‍. The lamb skewers! The chicken skewers! The tzatziki sauce . Didn't try the beef burger on this trip but, if it's anywhere near as flavorful as the turkey burger FOODGASM (like in the Netflix show 'Bon apatite your Majesty'') . Grill Mark has the crunchiest fries and chicken tenders in the neighborhood. Their filet mignon, shrimp, and salmon (some of the hardest dishes to cook perfectly) came out beautifully seasoned and textured. I would definitely come back here for their shrimp when I want it done right. read more

I came here twice with Hubby to get some lunch while we were in the area. I had a big salad on my first visit, the Italian salad. Wow! Big! I loved what they added to this salad. Other than the mesclun greens, the salad included some sweet pepper, nice tomatoes, artichokes, and some cheese. This big salad was enough for two people, but because it was mine, I had some leftovers. Hubby had the lamb wrap, and it was very good! The second time I came here, I ordered a salmon wrap, and Hubby had a filet mignon stick. So far, everything that we ordered was superb! The place is good for either grab-and-go or grab-and-stay. The place is big, with plenty of seats inside and 2-3 tables outside as well. Place your order at the counter and pick a table kind of place. It's not that complicated. Favorite lunch spot- especially in the summer. I usually order the salmon kale salad ( always delicious & filling) but today I had the grilled shrimp wrap (with everything) and sweet potato fries. Where do I start. We ate in the restaurant. 1. FOOD: Chicken platter so dry, pita cut up into tiny pieces. 2. PLATES/UTENSILS: Salads packed into compact plastic bowls and all utensils are plastic - don't even think about trying to mix the salad ingredients - you eat them in the order they were placed in the compact bowl. And plastic? Really? In the restaurant? What a waste. Is this McDonalds? 3. PRICE: A bit high, certainly for the quality, and the lack of service. But what's worse was their website prices were outdated - the increase in prices at the restaurant were not reflected on their website. There were no menus in the restaurant except what was on the wall. I had a hard time reading the tiny writing in the wall. Again, what is this, McDonald's? Overall: If you want to order here, stick with the salads and take out - don't eat here. read more

Let's get this out of the way. Sorry but I won't be going back, but before this influences you let me explain. I was on my way back from a work project in Sleepy Hollow which turned out to be a bust, but I digress. So Grill Mark seems to advertise "healthy" choices. The industrial look seems to be a trend which I'm not in favor of. Guess I'm " Old School". OK so you place your order, pay. After which they give you a wood block with a number on it. Now sit down and wait. Seating area is a few 2' x 2' steel tables. Again not for me. There were three other occupied tables and two already had their food, so a ten minute wait for a cheeseburgers seemed excessive, but it finally comes and I notice no condiments on the table. I ask and the counter girl brings a bottle of ketchup to me. The food... well the burger was fine, juicy and flavorful. No complaints. But when you finish you're required to bring your tray and trash to a trash station, which by the way has the aforementioned condiments. So I shouldn't complain about the lack of in the table but it would have been nice to know this earlier. So the trash station... here's where you have to start making decisions: Trash? Recycling? Cans? I make more than my share of decisions during the day so deciding if the leftovers you give me makes me make more decisions is not for me. OK I said I'm not going back but that's just me. I'm not saying you won't like it. All the the things that bugged me may be ok with you. I say give it a try. Just a note: I mentioned my deal in Sleepy Hollow that was a bust, and I was really annoyed with a client, so you can also take that into consideration. read more

A welcome addition to the hood. Has cold pressed juices and agreat selection of healthy green salads, vegan options and carnivore fare of meats on a stick. Mediterranean diet based. Fresh local Good vibe and fast service... Unless you press a juice then that takes time. Order on ahead and have your supper waiting for you. They are going strong still some years after their opening. Every other grill dived after a few months. This is here to stay. Always busy, upbeat music piping in, families are all over this place. The general Albertson/Williston Park area has a fair amount of gyro/Mediterranean establishments, so competition is pretty tight. Grillmark is a solid if not spectacular entry. We did take out but picked it up at the restaurant. The place was spacious and very clean. Decor was bright and fun. The food? The food was fresh and but a bit bland IMO. The chicken gyro wasn't heavily seasoned and was made with white meat so it was a tad dry. Portion sizes are also a bit smaller than other places but they were enough to satisfy. Prices are a tad on the high side for the portion sizes. I will say I felt that the ingredients were incredibly fresh but it was just too bland. Definitely a good place to eat albeit not my favorite in the area. read more

been here twice now and hands down best tasting mediterranean food, with a new twist! the sauces are all homemade in house and are amazing! the shrimp and salmon sticks are cooked to perfection, the lamb chops done medium upon request are sublime! if you want a quick burger with the works on a nice brioche bun they have that too. finally the best for last: THE DESSERTS! they have a crème brûlée cheescake and a chocolate moose cake that are out of this world! plus it's one of the only places i've seen that sells the liter glass bottle of mountain valley spring water, the cleanest water around! Fast Greek/Mediterranean food seems to be all the craze these days, but I'm not complaining because it gives us a chance to sample so quality fare. Last night my stomach brought me to this speedy-ish location to grab some grub to go. This storefront had a bit of a curse on it with several other restaurants and food-esque places kicking the bucket prior to GrillMark. But from what I've sampled (second time here), I'm hoping they found the secret formula to break that curse and stay around for quite sometime. Walk in and the ambiance is pretty clean cut with a touch of chic rusticity around the tables and walls (I feel like that's not a thing, but maybe it can become one?). The menu is pretty extensive with different Mediterranean meats and fish (sticks as they say), salads, burgers, dips, and a few desserts. I went with a stick of chicken gyro. Now, you can get it as just a stick, in a pita wrap, or as a platter. When you're hungry, go platter as you get a side salad and choice of one side (spinach rice for me). It took about 10 minutes for the food to be ready, but they give you a heads up about it when you order so you don't begin to wonder if they skipped over you. Once home, I dove into my box of goodies. The chicken wasn't really what could fit on a stick....it was a ton more! A little charred while staying semi-juicy with plenty of awesome seasoning. The spinach rice side was enormous and quite fresh, and in a way almost creamy. You also get a few pieces of pita bread and a side of tzatziki. The only lackluster item was the salad. It was light and broke up the more profound flavors from the rest of the food, but if it wasn't included I probably wouldn't have gotten it (though at least I feel like I ate my veggies). Overall, you're given plenty of great Mediterranean food at GrillMark for a relatively reasonable price. The fresh factor will have me returning again sometime soon....well as long as they broken the curse of the storefront (here's hoping!). read more

This place used to be great. Not sure what changed recently, but everything is so bland. I got the chicken, which used to be tender and flavorful. Now it's dry and bland. The spinach rice used to be my favorite, now it's just mush. Finally, the sweet potato fries, more mush. My family used to eat here all the time. Ordered the chicken gyro platter with fries came with a side salad/olive oil dressing. The chicken was crispy and had chunks of fat but was dry at the same time. How does this even happen? Placed an order at 6:21 pm tonight and was informed it would be delivered at 7:07. By 7:15 we started calling. At 7:35 the food finally showed up. Two salads had salmon on them and the salmon was cold. The fries were cold and soggy. We sent the food back with the driver. We called to complain and get money credited back on the card. Ok so my wife are back from Grillmark. Someone said it and their right. Nothing spectacular in terms of taste. My wife ordered the filet mignon gyro and it was bland. I ordered the lamb gyro platter but I really think it was filet mignon instead. I didn't fuss about it but it was bland and of course it didn't have the distinct taste of lamb. The ambience of the place was nice for a place located in a strip mall. The staff was friendly. I took the trip their because I saw the piece on News 12 with Storm Grissom eating there. Overall I have eaten better gyro platters better than this. And their prices are kind of high. Can't say that I would be going again but at least the fries and salad were top notch!! Per the other yelpers reviews, this restaurant is just a mixed bag of reviews. It was either going to be a home run or run for home review. I am going for 2 stars for this review. I may have given it 2.5 just because the bathroom was very clean. The price, let's say...overly priced and the portion of meat, incredibly small. Meat to price ratio is way off. You will get an huge amount of French fries, then they stick the meat stick on top of the meal trying to make it look big. The side salad is served in a plastic container which always gives me the feeling like it was pre-made in the fridge. I just don't like that feeling. Eating visually is important. The dressing for the salad was a Greek style Mediterranean but had absolutely no flavor except that of bad olive oil. I always test me dressing before I put it on salad because I hate to ruin a salad with horrible flavored dressing. The Tzatziki was made fresh, it has to be or you will get a watery mess. That being said, it was pretty much the flavor of the yogurt and the dill, but not much cucumber and certainly limited garlic. It was bland. They give you some pita slices with your meal. These were not warm at all. It's as if they again, give you more of the cheap stuff to keep your mind off the fact that they give you so little meat. G had the lamb stick which he said had no flavor and his sweet potato fries were limp and lacked taste also. The employees were friendly and nice to speak with, so 4 stars for the good customer service, but if if the food is lack luster, then no amount of friendly will get return customers. We doggie bagged all the fries and pita parts for the birds at home. They will eat anything. As for us, we will not return here, as there are better places to spend $32.00 for better food. read more

But the star of the show are those perfectly seasoned, delectably fresh meat sticks, served with a side of pita and and dense house made tzatziki. A Mazing - Nick is so friendly and has done a great job! Came here for lunch and got to try some huge samples: chicken and hummus and rice pudding etc. Juices were so yummy too. I ended up trying the Mexican salad and both chicken and steak sticks with tzastiki on the side. Really fresh and really fast two of my favorite things when it comes to lunch. I'm so excited this opened up in the area. I'd love to try more dishes. It was pretty packed around lunch as well. read more
