Why am I disappointed again when this place actually had good reviews. I tried GrillMark when it first opened because I love the concept. Grilled fresh food nothing better. Yet both times I ordered, the pork platter was dry, had soggy fries as a side this time. The Spanish rice however was pretty good. Also ordered a garden salad with shrimp (comes with 5) with a side of honey mustard. The dill honey mustard might have been the best part of the meal, wish I could bottle it up and keep it in my fridge. The shrimp was cooked right but not enough. The pork, dry, only 5 pieces on the stick. The platter says it comes with a side salad but opened my back and nothing... Why would I pay $27.50 for this food when I can have Mediterranean food down the block at Yummy Gyro? Only way I would try GrillMark again is if I go in and sit down. Both times I have picked up the food seemed like it was sitting there for 20 minutes. I love the concept but portions are so tiny for the price. The sticks are fine: tasty but not terribly great value. Worth grabbing for a quick bite but certainly nothing special and obviously overpriced. However, I feel compelled to write a review because I decided to grab a side dish of "broccoli and cauliflower" with my sticks and expected that for $5 I would get, y'know, a serving of veggies. Furthermore, their prices don't match up with the quality or quantity of the food they provide. For example, the cold pressed juices are $7 each, which is wildly unreasonable, especially for non-organic juices. It is perfectly seasoned! I had it with a side of fries ( cooked to perfection as well ) and a side salad (dressing on point). I also had a side of the spicy feta spread also freaking delicious ! I ordered from grub hub and wasn't left with many options and had to get something that was kosher. I found grill mark and everything sounded so good. When my food arrived, I sat down and unwrapped to eat it. My fries were cold and soggy, I couldn't even eat them so I threw them out. I took two bites into my gyro before also discarding of that. It was literally the worst gyro I have ever tasted in my entire life and I've had plenty of horrendous gyros in my lifetime. This place definitely took the trophy on that. That being said, it was a waste of food. A waste of My time waiting while I was starving. And a waste of whatever money I've spent on it. Never again will I be ordering anything from here. This place has great options, super nice staff, and tasty food which kept us coming back for more. I am unable to eat in the restaurant (for reasons other than covid) so I cannot speak about dining-in, but I do *not* recommend takeout or delivery. Our past 4 orders have been either wrong or missing items with this last order missing all of the sauces for the burgers. It was very nice that we were offered delivery of the missing sauce, but since we were told it would take a half-hour, we decided to pass. If I was in the area I might come back. But I might just as easily hop into Wendy's for a salad. Its a cute restaurant. Light and breezy and the staff is friendly. It doesn't have a rushed feel to it even though I see about a 50/50 for staying in and to go orders. BUT they need to work on their bathroom!! It's unisex which is fine except when I go in, the seat is up, and there's pee on it and the floor. And on the whole the food was lacking. I had a pork stick and it had no flavor. Thankfully it was good pork. Would have really sucked if it was shitty meat and no flavor. I liked the pita, the tzatziki had no flavor. Moms salad was large but it was mostly lettuce. They are petty quick to bring the food and it's usually all as requested. They're portions are a decent size and the food is good. They are a bit on the pricey side and charge fees for dipping sauces. I have been a regular since their opening. It is a bit overpriced for the portion. The food quality is not always consistent, but is good and fresh eight out of ten visits. My personal favorite is the chicken gyro platter, love the caramelized crispy top layer, although be mindful they use chicken thigh for the gyro so it's more tender. If you are really healthy conscious, go with the chicken stick that is made with chicken breast. I do find the platte offers the best value because it comes with a small salad and a side (I get the quinoa most of the time and sweet potato fries when dine-in or takeout because it gets soggy quickly) read more

It's been a long time since I lived in Queens where I could get fresh, delicious Greek food pretty much 24/7, whenever I wanted it. I'm new to Nassau so I've been looking forward to trying some of the different restaurants, both in person and for delivery. I was excited about GrillMark when I saw it had to many great reviews on both Seamless and Yelp. I scrolled through their extensive menu and saw a chicken gyro, which sounded perfect for lunch. The food came in a timely manner. But when I opened the cardboard box, I was really disappointed. Not only had the condensation built up so much it turned the fries to complete mush, inside was not the chicken gyro I thought I had ordered. In its place was just a skewer of chicken. One skewer. Like a small skewer. Not even a long one. Like half a long one. Along with the soggy fries a four tiny triangles of pita bread. When I say tiny, I mean they couldn't have added up to more than half a whole pita. Besides the quantity/quality issue (the amount of fries far outweighed the proportion of chicken + pita -- I, for one, do not want to have almost an entire lunch made up of fries, soggy or not), the reason I messed my own order up is because their Seamless menu can be really confusing if you're not paying super close attention. I accidentally ordered the chicken platter instead of the chicken gyro platter. One chicken stick (which is what comes with the chicken platter) is $5. So realistically you're paying $6.50 extra for an order of fries and a small side salad (just mixed greens, nothing special). And if you ordered the chicken stick and fries and side salad all separately, you'd actually save 50 cents instead of ordering the platter, which comes with the exact same accoutrements! I'm not sure how any of this makes sense. The chicken had decent flavor, I'll give them that. But for nearly $16 with tax+tip, clearly there are much better lunch options abound. read more

Rude staff!! I have been ordering food from grill mark for over a year now. I normally get food delivered for me and my staff at least 4 times a month. The food is AMAZING!! It is also very expensive. Our orders have never been under $60 but the quality has always been worth it. This past weekend I placed a big order as usual and I was told 45 min. After an hour I gave them a call and she said the driver just left. No problem. Another hour went by until he finally showed up with cold food and hot juices. The delivery took over 2 hours! Instead of receiving an apology we got an attitude from the driver saying he shouldn't deliver to us anyway because we are too far. When I called the store the rude girl on the phone told me they do not deliver more than 3 miles. Well, we are 2.7 miles. We've been customers for over a year (check seamless) and it's never been a problem to take my $200+ dollars a month until now. Your driver probably forgot our order, which happens and it's ok. But to yell and blame the customer for taking 2 hours to deliver expensive cold food is not the way to run a business. Sorry grill mark, our time has come to an end. read more

I ordered the salmon platter for delivery. Basically a salmon kebob with a tiny side and side salad for about $14. Took a while for delivery as they couldn't find the address. Portions were alright nothing special. The salmon was cooked really well though, good taste and very tender. I might come back I'd get something else though as it didn't really fill me up. read more

We are regular customers at GrillMark, and enjoy their food. On Sunday around 11:15 AM we were the only ones in the store, and ordered an açaí bowl, pork pita, and a side of fries. It took 30 minutes for our food to be brought to us. There were 5 people working, and the cooks were more focused on socializing than cooking. The fries weren't put into the deep fryer until 20 minutes after we ordered and at that point we were also told a fresh batch of açaí was being made so it'd be a short while longer. The food was good, but no one should wait 30 minutes for this type of meal to be prepared - especially when the place isn't even busy. read more

Ordered take out from here for the first time recently. I usually do not write reviews but this was by far the worst anything we've ever had. We had the lamb shishkebab platter with Mediterranean rice, pork gyro, and hummus. Let's start with the hummus - this was ok, your standard hummus, nothing special. Lamb platter. Meat was cooked medium which what we asked for. However it was completely bland and untrimmed. There was a ton of gristle. The Mediterranean rice was so mushy and bland, not an ounce of salt or seasoning. The vegetables seemed like it was steamed with the rice. The pork gyro tasted ok but the meat was also not trimmed and there were a few pieces that were on the undercooked side so I had to stop eating it. I ordered take-out ahead of time and went to the store to pick it up. First let me say that the staff is great and the food was good. I'm glad they have whole wheat pita option. I had a Chicken Sticks Pita Wrap and a Guacamole appetizer. I specified sauce on the side with the pita wrap, but there was no sauce, tzatziki or otherwise, so good thing I had the guacamole to put on it instead. I live about 10 minutes away so wasn't going back just for the tzatziki. And I don't know if this is the store's doing or the app's doing - but the guacamole is supposed to come with tortilla chips. The app defaults to pita as a selection, and I didn't realize I had to specify chips when that should be the default per the menu. Luckily I saw "pita" on my receipt and said something before I left, so they gave me the chips. I'll have to give the place another go before I decide if I want to rate this place more than "good" to 4 or 5 stars instead. Definitely a fan. If this establishment is to expend, which certainly seems to be the plan, SUBURBIA would only be the better for it. "Healthy food fast" or whatever this places cheesy logo is may seem like a trite cliche, few places do it, and fewer still do it well. This place successfully using Middle Eastern mains as a starting point, and backing it up with excellent healthy side options, including a Quinoa salad I get whenever I have the chance. Of those mains, the chicken schwarma is reliably juicy and my go to option. Setting is suburban and sterile but the assembly line is efficient and the staff actually genuinely friendly. I had the salmon kebab and a Side Greek Salad. Food came hot, fish cooked perfectly. Side salad was legit with a nice square of feta. Really good. My only knock is the dill sauce for the kebab was a bit sweet and mayo'ish, but I wouldn't use sauce even if it was perfect, so can't really kill them. Delivery was ahead of expected time.
